We just moved to the area and decided to order pizza from here after a long day moving. We placed a delivery order and got a eta of 45 minutes. After an hour we called to see where the driver was at. He guy told us it would probably be at least another hour and that they were out of one of the toppings for our pizza. We canceled our order and went somewhere else. We will never get food from here. Waste of time.

I ordered from them on Grub Hub, because I was stuck in the office and very few places delivered. The estimated wait time was 45 minutes when I placed the order at 12:30. Okay. At 1:45 I give them a call to ask where they are. The girl says the wait time is TWOHOURS for delivery and that they’d be coming to my office as soon as the one delivery guy they have gets back. For real? Why even offer it if it’s going to take forever? It says plain as day on their site that delivery is 30 – 60 minutes. Whatever. Guess not. UGH. Plus, the customer service when i called was a joke. Seriously.

This was one of my favorite places in my area. However, I had a little problem with a double charge with them and their management will not even call me back. I have made 4 calls and stopped by 3 times. Great food, but hope they don’t mess up your payment. I happened to order on line and then was charged again when I showed up to pick up the order. BEFOREWARNED — Good food but the customer service STINKS! Extremely disappointed. I will change my review if I hear from them. This has been an on going issue since July 2014.

Great pizza, we ordered 5 personal pizzas and had a great meal. Planned in eating in, but chose to take out due to seating limitations– if you have a group of 4 or less, come on in and enjoy a classic pizza joint.

Seriously a hidden gem in Toledo. Great food that’s better to take home than eat there. This is where we get pizza from in this house n

This is solid pizza. I can’t give The Original Royal Pizza five stars, because it not THAT great, but they do make a good pie. Reasonable prices? For sure. A frequently featured special is a one item medium pie for 6 bucks. Not bad. Almost a meal. Keep in mind that this is not a «destination restaurant.» Although technically, you could eat your pizza on premises, this is pretty much a pick up and delivery joint. If I still lived in Shoreland, or in the Point, I’d get my pizza from TORP about 30% of the time.(The rest of time, it would be from Inky’s). Note that Royal is open on Sunday, and Inky’s isn’t. Advantage Royal!

Food is very tasty. Great price. Everything tastes fresh and well put together. Delivery radius is insane which is awesome if you live in a place like the OWE where delivery places are at a premium. Delivery times are slower than most of the national chains, they’re reasonable considering the food is great and the drivers will drive pretty much everywhere in Toledo but the East Side.

Legit pizza. They don’t skimp on the toppings and everything we’ve ordered has been flavorful and fresh. The thin crust is typical toledo thin crust, crispy and not very foldable like you’ll find at Sofos. Very delicious and reasonable delivery times. While not as fast as some of the chains but it’s worth the wait for the quality.

I remember back when this was Wok-King Pizza. The food there is always top quality, and very reasonably priced. Their sliced meatball topping is amazing when paired up with banana peppers. The only thing holding them back from a 5 star rating is the order accuracy. About 1 out of 4 times that I order, something isn’t right. Either a sauce is forgotten or the toppings aren’t right, etc. On the plus side, they have always made good on mistakes.

this place gives your more for your money compared to anyone in the area, BARNONE. everything they have i so flavorful. authentic mexican food, great cheaply priced wings with tons of different flavors. the pizza is great also, the dough is fresh, never frozen. the wait staff is very nice and the drivers are even cooler. i will continue to go here for as long as i live. this place cannot be beat. if they ever were to take on a huge money backer and get a nationwide chain, everyone else would be put on notice.

Let’s start with a compliment. A hell of a good Italian Sub. Perhaps the best I’ve had in awhile. The only problem is that’s not all i ordred. I also ordered the 12 Taco special, which proved to be a GREAT dissapointment. For god sake the shells where uncooked, it was like the shells where stale. Kinda crisply with that a hint of styrofoam. Awful. The rest of the menu went much better. The Chicken Club was delicious and the Cheese burger was juicy and quit large for the money. Over all, not bad, but for god sake cook those taco shells before you serve them to some unexpecting customer. If it wasn’t for those awful tacos I would have given it a much better score. Hopefully someone from Royal Pizza will read this and fix the problem.

Hot damn! Literally – HOT damn. This place is not air-conditioned(I’m sensing a theme here, Toledo) but oh so very good. A tiny little pizza joint just up the street from where I went to a show over the weekend with a super great pie. We had about 30 minutes to eat and get our rears back into the club in time for the first band so we zoomed over there(Thanks, Unilocal app!) hoping they might have some slices pre-made. They didn’t but the pizza itself didn’t take terribly long so it was all right. While we waited we sat in the stuffy storefront, chillin’ in the one booth, fantasizing about the food as the smell of baking cheese tickled our noses. I’m not sure if it was because it was so hot or because I was so hungry but the scent of that pizza was even stronger than most pizza joints. I was in total starving mode. Finally the pizza came out. A pepperoni concoction puddled with grease and garlic butter(oh man, that garlic crust was good) and every so delicious. I was so starving I bit right in and suffered«inpatient pizzaitis.» You know when you burn the roof of your mouth on the first slice of that bad boy? Didn’t care it was so good. Very saucy(so if you like lite sauce be sure to make that known) but so good. We split the small(6 slices) and regretted not getting the larger size because the slices were pretty tiny. I guess we didn’t consider how small 10 inches was. Oh well! We were definitely full but gluttonous us wanted more. Especially because it was SO cheap. That and a couple of cans of pop for just shy of 9 dollars. Wow! Walked out of there with 5 minutes to spare and shot back to the concert just as the band launched into their first song. Well played, Original Royal Pizza. Well played indeed.
