Great local diner. Breakfast is an excellent value. Food is good all of the normal diner stuff. The service was great.

Come for the people watching. It’s a fascinating North Toledo experience.

Food was good. Just down the road from our hotel. Our server was clearly new to waiting tables. She was surprised that we hadn’t already memorized the menu when she came back. Given that she messed up our orders, I’m surprised she was throwing stones in her glass house… Would I go back? Yeah, but that would also require me to return to Toledo. So that’s highly unlikely.

Bangin specials, as apparently is the case at all recession ravaged Toledo eateries. 299 House Special features 2 diagonally cut slices of toast, 2 eggs your style, choice of meat and — further — choice of meat forms(patties or links?!), and home fries to boot. Marry that with some sausage gravy smothered biscuits and you’ll be in hungover heaven Or get crazy with the Summit Slammer… You can’t go wrong Toledo! This is what dreams are made of…(roll echoes)

This isn’t a fancy place by any means. But it’s a nice homey clean family run restaurant… You can go in alone and feel comfy. Everything I have ever had here was great tasting and in abundance for the price. The breakfasts are my favorites but I have had many of their sandwiches and salads and things also. It’s also a whole 60 second drive from downtown Toledo…
