It’s nothing to write home about, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Service is good to above average, never been bad. The food is average. It’s edible, but not great. Not extremely authentic though. Prices are a bit higher than the quality of the food though, leaving this as an average rating at best.

We are regulars here and have had a lot of different things on the menu. You cannot go wrong with any of the following: Fajita Nachos(beef, chicken, or combo — think fajitas over nacho chips with queso over top — deeee-lish!), Soft tacos, burritos of any kind. Ask for Habit(pronounced«hah-beet») to be your server and you will not be disappointed. He is friendly, professional and attentive. The Victoria beer is ice cold, the chips are fresh and warm and the salsa is tasty. If in Toledo or passing through on I-75 near the border with MI, then you can’t get better value than here.

Plates were way too hot fixable problem if the cooks didn’t take short cuts an heat everything up in the oven \ microwave instead of keeping it hot or cooking fresh to order seriously my whole table burned their arms fix this or supply burn cream will not be back stop taking shortcuts an cook the food right

We had lunch at cinco de mayo a few times the past couple of weeks. Monday’s you can have any entrée on the lunch menu for 4.99 between 11 – 3. That’s a deal you just can’t beat. I’ve had the fajitas which weren’t the best I’ve ever had but decent! I’ve also had a wet burrito that was pretty good! Lunch here on a Monday is essential to starting your week off right!

Great Mexican food, certainly the best I’ve had within 15 miles or so of Toledo. Food is quick to the table, has great flavor, and good sized portions. Service is prompt and friendly. Only complaint I have is that the restaurant is not adequately air conditioned on very warm days.

We were seated quickly and some chips and salsa to snack on brought out. The«street tacos» served on corn tortillas with onion and cilantro were delicious. Would definitely go again.

Food is good, not the best Mexican in toledo but not the worst. Service is usually quick and food, like most Mexican places is not very expensive. Highlight for me is their margaritas. They are strong and have a ton of flavors to chose from. Outdoor front patio is nice on a sunny day but pretty noisy from the busy road.

I came today because the taco truck at Bancroft and Ashland wasn’t there and I promised my son some tacos. This very well may be the reason I was disappointed since the bar is set pretty high if I’m comparing them to Antojitos Lared. I ordered the street chicken tacos for me and a crunchy chicken taco for my son with some queso. The chips and salsa were great and the queso was good. I was not impressed with the street tacos at all. The soft corn tortillas were really greasy and the chicken they used wasn’t too good in my opinion. There just wasn’t much flavor. My son’s taco actually had shredded chicken in it and it was dripping with orange grease/liquid. The service was fast and the prices were good. I wouldn’t say this was an awful place, but I definitely didn’t get my authentic Mexican craving fix with this meal.

Good salsa and chips. Love the street tacos. Tables need a good wipe down. Arms stuck to the top when we sat down. Great server, very friendly.

Very pleased! Our hotel was nearby and Mexican food sounded good, so we gave this place a try. Food was much more authentic than we were expecting. Margaritas(on the rocks) were good, salsa was delicious and not too spicy. I got the steak street tacos(basically a carne asada taco), and they were not only delicious but packed full with meat, all three of them. My girlfriend got some combo plate, and was pleased as well. Only complaint is everything was just slightly bland, needed salt but no big deal! Prices were fair and service was good. I forgot my debit card on the table and our server literally RAN it out to us, in the street as we had already pulled out!!! Was very appreciative and pleased. Would definitely eat her again if we were ever in town again.

A lively place for a great Mexican meal. Beware of the HOT green salsa. If you get pass that, the food is fabulous. Try the Fajita tower with a skewer of shrimp planted on a huge pepper and beef and chicken strips on the sizzling plate. That sets the food apart.

Now I like a sloppy Joe as much as the next guy, but not when it’s disguised as a burrito. Dry rice. Okay beans. Olé.

Only for the drinks, because they knocked me on my butt! This looks like an old Bob Evans repainted by a child in Crayola colors. Very garish and crazy-looking, but since we needed a drink and my sister said the food was good, we decided to get lunch here. The food comes out super quick-probably microwaved but it was good. What wasn’t was the chipped plates and cracked tiles and wobbly tables. We ate off the lunch menu and my sister got a burrito and I got something called the fajita quesidilla. It was good but not memorable. Go for the drinks and prepare to let someone else drive!

Love the fresh corn tortillas(ask for them instead of the wheat) and the homemade salsa. If you order a steak and like it medium rare, order it rare. It comes out on a sizzling hot griddle that keeps the steak hot, but also keeps cooking the steak. Also, I don’t recall which review said the restaurant was dirty, but I didn’t find that to be the case.

Trash talk because of décor is pointless. It is all about the food. Don’t try to compare to west coast or Texas. Having traveled in Mexico it is close to the real deal in simply prepared and flavorful food. Don’t expect high end, just enjoy the blend of flavors and the sauces. Keep cooking!

I came here for dinner with some girlfriends. The only thing I liked about the place was outdoor dining and good music. The service was pathetic and food wasn’t that good either. Won’t be coming here again.

I think this is the 3rd best Mexican restaurant in Toledo. You only need to read my reviews to figure out number 1… but I might as well say it… San Marcos. Number 2 is a little unexpected, Don Pablos… I love Americanized Mexican food. This comes in a solid #3. It is the best of all the newcomers in the parade of «authentic» Mexican popping up on every block. Try the burrito asada. Very tasty. Chips and salsa are good. Good mexican rice. Can’t speak to the margaritas because I don’t drink. Give it a try ya’ll.

We eat here five or six times a year. We are always happy with the food. The«fajitas for two» is hard to beat for the price.

Waiting staff is hit or miss. Food is average. Decent margaritas, but they come from a machine. Good atmosphere for the most part. Try the taco loco. Great fajita steak nachos!
