Id like to give it a 5 star rating because the beer list is always great, lots if different options with something for everyone, but one of the gals there isn’t friendly at all. The 2 guys who are always working sunday nites make up for her lack of professionalism and kindness. They are awesome, along with the other staff. Later in the evening, they do karaōke like every nite, its mainly filled w the dbags you try to avoid when out, so i recommended going a bit earlier.

Tons of taps. Decent selection and cheap pool. I enjoyed it and the bouncer was actually nice. It’s dark and a medium sized area.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Monday after reading the menu online. The menu sounded amazing, and we were starving. There weren’t many people inside, but that’s not surprising for a Monday. There was a large selection of draft beer, and a crazy amount of items on the menu. I ordered the«Smack & Cheese»: a layer of tater tots, mac and cheese, hot sauce, and chicken pieces on top. My husband ordered the Witwer’s Mud Burger: cheese, bacon, tomato, onion, dill pickle, and peanut butter. I wish the food tasted as good as it sounded! The mac and cheese wasn’t very flavorful, and the chicken on top was very dry. My husband loved his burger, but I wasn’t crazy about it. The bread was really soggy, and there was a very strange smokey flavor. The side of tater tots were great, though! It was fun to try someplace new, but not sure I’d go there again.

Not a good time. Decent amount of beers which is why I’m giving it two stars. Music too loud, slow service, and a bit over priced. Just not a fun atmosphere.

These guys refused an Irish passport and demanded a state ID from a guy on holiday! And when I asked to talk to manager the inappropriate bouncer swore at us. So after the manager asked if we owned Ireland with his Irish tourist cap on, we said if you came to Ireland we wouldn’t ask you for an Irish state ID from an American tourist. So we left and went to bar 145 in which a Police officer lets us in with a passport.,

Good food and great draft beer selection. Atmosphere is good, depending on what time of day/weekend you go. Not known for their ‘quick’ service, always seem understaffed and staff they have looks extremely overworked. But, never had a bad meal and is my ‘go-to’ place when I want to day drink. Chicken tortilla soup is my favorite

Lots of taps… Jackie O’s Mystic Mama was my favorite. Yeah, it gets loud and crowded, but it makes for cheap entertainment! I’ve never had the food, so I can’t speak to that, but for beer and amusement, it hits the spot.

I went to Bier Stube for the karaōke. I didn’t eat any of the food, but some friends did and they enjoyed their selections. It’s definitely a bar, not a restaurant, so expect smoke, crowds, and lots of people during the peaks hours. The karaōke song selection was extensive, and the KJ did a good job of keeping the music mixed up and getting people through, although he wasn’t especially friendly. The bartenders were fast and helpful, and bathrooms clean. All ages, 21 – 60, I’d say. Not at all fancy, definitely fun.

Since the closing of Chucks on Monroe the Bier Stube has been the main hangout for raunchy white trash clientele. The location is terrible, the food is garbage, and getting a drink here on some nights is almost impossible. You’re better off skipping this place and going down the street to Bar145.

Shoulder to shoulder, couldn’t hear the person next to you over the terrible karaōke that was way too loud, and terrible service. It’s a hangout for the same kids you hated in high school. If you’re looking for a bro, a fight, or a friendly bop, I highly recommend Bier Stube.

I challenge everyone who comes here to request a detailed bill from the bar staff when you cash out. I guarantee you won’t get it. In fact, when they made my friends pay for food up front on a busy night then served the wrong meals, we asked for a copy of the receipt to determine if it was an ordering mistake or kitchen mistake. Well, the world will never know because instead of a copy of the receipt we were handed an OPENTAB belonging to someone else at our table. When we demanded our receipt the mean blonde bartender called for security to kick us out. Hmm stealing much? I’ve worked in bars long enough to see the red flags, hopefully the owner figures it out before all the customers are kicked out by security!

We were attracted by the 75 beers on Tap, we tried several and liked the Frambroise the best. Angela was extremely knowledgeable about the beer offerings and that was pretty cool. We went during the week rather early when its not so crowded by the young crowd as it can be weekends after 9. A mellow crowd 21 – 65. Went for the Beer only… ate elsewhere. Beer, Keno, Pool, anyone?

Food tastes like greasy turds. By night the bar is infested by douche bags. Fights are common, security is a bunch of assholes, I was literally locked in the bar once because there was fight outside it’s ridiculous. Service is slow, bartenders are rude. I will say their tap selection is good and hey they are so disorganized they have literally lost my tab multiple times and I’ve walked out not paying for any of my drinks.

The first thing to keep in mind is that the Bier Stube(?House of Eats) is not a hoity toity«gastropub.» This place is a BAR. B-A-R, bar. Keeping that in mind, I’d say the food is pretty good. The food might not be «FIVESTARS good,» but the Bier Stube gets a five star rating from me because… THEYHAVE75BEERSONTAP! I gave ‘em 5 stars based on that fact alone! 75 beers! Think of it this way: Here, you could get drunk(or at least catch a pretty decent buzz) every day for a week, all without drinking the same beer twice! Which beers might you find at the Stube? Well, the selection rotates, but in general, you’ll find everything from likable crap(PBR, Bud light, etc), to local and semi-local microbrews(Catawba Island, MBBC and Great Lakes) to some higher end offerings(Framboise lambic). FOOD: I like it. It’s not the best bar food I’ve ever eaten, but it is definitely worth a try. I’ve eaten several of the specialty burgers and wraps, and each has been pretty good. The fries were great, and so were the chicken chunks. I will say this: Making sense of the menu can be a little daunting. It’s extensive, and many of the food items have names that are not at all indicative of what they actually are. Back to the CHICKENCHUNKS: Toledo loves chicken chunks. I’m not sure why they seem to be so much more popular here than elsewhere, but they do seem to be. When ordering chicken chunks, I usually take note of the«Chicken to Breading Ratio.» The higher, the better, IMO. At the Bier Stube, the C to B ratio is pretty high. They’re not as good as Shawn’s chunks or those from the Village Inn, but they’re not as shitty as B-Dubs’ «batter balls with a shred of chicken in the center.» Also pretty exciting, is the fact that they offer 27 dipping sauces. Some of these are standard, and some are unique and outstanding. The crowd? I’ve been here many times, and I have not been able to characterize the crowd. Of course, I’m usually not there during peak hours. All in all, this is one of my favorite places for a beer and a quick snack.

Craft beers on tap, multiple TVs with sound during the Ohio vs. Michigan State game., plenty of seating and pool tables. Oh, and there’s kareoke in the other room if I get drunk enough?! Definite fan. No waitresses seemed to be serving the tables but I had no problem getting a beer at the bar. Preferred it anyway to see the draft list which made me SO happy. Got to drink 2 IPAs that night. TWO! Summit Saga IPA and Harpoon IPA! For less than $ 5/pint? I was one happy girl that night. Got pretty busy, but a good-crowd busy. Not overly obnoxious, at least not in the back room where the pool tables are. Only stayed to watch the game but the kareokers sounded like they were having the time of their lives. I hear they have some pretty amazing food so I’ll have to come back to try that.

Decent beer selection, some pool tables, and a great outdoor area to pass a joint while pretending to smoke nasty cigarettes(not that I condone/participate). They also have karaōke it seems like any night I have ever visited, so if you are into Journey or Vanilla Ice covers you might be right at home… Enjoy Suckas’!!!

If you like: frat boys, rednecks and the girls who love them… you will love this bar! If you would prefer a bar where you can enjoy yourself while drinking moderately(or not drinking, if you’re the DD)…you will suffer so much secondhand embarrassment at this bar. But that’s part of the charm, I think: from the karaōke to that uniquely-Toledo mix of rap and country from 5 years ago, it’s definitely the sort of place you leave laughing.

Great local dive with some sweet features. Three pool tables, kareoke most nights, nice selection of draft beers and even a couple ciders to choose from. Plenty of TV action with their own house channel. Didn’t try the food but very interesting menu with some good twists on the usual bar fryer grub. If you’re looking for classy, go elsewhere, if you’re looking for a friendly locals bar, this is a good one.

Decent prices, good selection, and a fun crowd that’s perfect for some good people-watching. The dude singing«Hit my Baby One More Time» in a death metal voice needs to go, though. Please don’t let him back on stage. My ears are still bleeding.

Went here a while back. Walked in — whoa! young folk — was turning around to leave figuring my bud made a mistake — nope — this is where we will be hanging out. They have/had coin-op pool tables — and it was free that night. Lots of seating — tables and benches. They had karaōke that night. And a door that led to a smoking area — I didn’t check it out. Beer was cheap. Didn’t accept AMEX. A food menu — but I don’t remember what was on it. In summary — age group was 20 – 22 — cheap beer — smoking room. If this is your thing, then go for it. I can only appreciate 1 of the 3(beer) so. I can only fairly give a low rating
