I had a clam sandwich others had mushroom, Swiss burger. Both excellent. Waitress, victoria, was pleasant and very good. Wine special, Messenger. Was excellent. Overall, a great dining experience.

Ordered the steak. It was 95% fat. I couldn’t even eat it. The mashed potatoes were cold and the service was slow.

Went for dinner… calamari was excellent… Crispy with good olive oil. My ribeye steak was great and the sides were delicious. I noticed they don’t over-salt the food here which I love… some people can’t taste food unless it’s salty… service was excellent… price was very reasonable… would have given them 5 stars but my husband’s veal parm with pasta was watery… He didn’t think they drained the linguini enough.

Someone recommend this place to me and I decided to take my family and I must say it was good. The greeting was great and table service was right on par as well, very friendly. My daughter had the grilled chicken sandwich with rice, my wife had the black bean sweet potato sandwich and I had the special pork tenderloin. The pork was cooked to a perfect medium, exactly the way I wanted it and the flavor was sweet and spicy, it was great. I was a little nervous about my wife’s sandwich because it was a «perfect patty» but she liked it, the chicken sandwich was a real chicken breast and it was juicy and flavorful. The pricing is great, the place won’t break the bank, our bill ended up at $ 39, affordable. We did not have desert but they’re are some tempting items. The bar is nice, I had a Guinness and of course, that was delicious. We had a positive experience, we will definitely be back.

I go by this restaurant on my way back from work. It’s always crowded. It was a no brainer I wanted to try it. Last night we went started off w crab cakes they were soggy and unimpressive. My entrée was stuffed sole, the ends were over cooked and the fish was tasteless, my partner ordered the $ 24.00 seafood casserole, on the recommendation of the waitress, if she thought this was worthy of order she obviously hasn’t been out of Tiverton. What a total disappointment. The only part of our stay that was worthy were the mixed drinks for $ 7.00.

My wife and I tried to dine here the other night, the bartender and waiter were attentive, however I asked our waiter if the cook knew how to cook steak. He claimed that he did. So I ordered the flat iron steak and ordered it medium. Well I received a piece of shoe leather that was cooked well done and it was cooked on one side only. There was no char marks on the other side which tells me me never turned it while cooking. My wife ordered fried clams and those were burnt as well, plus they tasted like the oil was dirty. For our first time there we were not impressed at all. The only reason I gave two stars is because the waiter and bartender were attentive. Will not try again, first impression is the most important impression.

Husband and I had heard some good things so we decided to give it a try. Really close to home which was a total plus. Didn’t expect much from a «plaza restaurant» with regard to ambiance, food, or service, but we were very pleasantly surprised! To cut to the chase, we usually only see service and menus like that at much more expensive restaurants. The variety was great and everything that went by us to other tables looked amazing! Made making a choice difficult, but the stuffed scrod I had and the prime rib hubbie had were fantastic. Our server was very attentive(but not overbearing) which was especially impressive because it was a Friday night and pretty busy. There was nothing fancy about the décor or ambiance, but it was just lovely. Clean and light and lovely. They really maximize the space, too. I never would have guessed there were so many tables in there, but it wasn’t at all overcrowded. The prices were slightly more than we like to pay, but we are cheapskates, admittedly. The good thing is that there were lots of sandwiches, burgers, and lower-priced items that would still be delicious, I’m sure. We could definitely eat here regularly and not break the bank. Might have to try the take-out, too. EDIT — Took my mother here for Mother’s Day lunch. Good thing I made a reservation; it was packed! Despite the number of patrons, service was still excellent and food was delicious. Glad to know the wonderful experience I initially had wasn’t a one-time fluke. This will definitely remain on my short list of nice places to lunch or dine area.

This is exactly the restaurant that Tiverton was in need of! My family and I were both thrilled at the chance to finally try The Grille’s food, and were even more pleased with its quaint yet sophisticated interior and décor. We were greeted and sat right away and(unlike other reviews stated) were greeted promptly by our server. After we had our drink order put in, the drinks arrived shortly after, and we placed our orders. The kids loved the large selection of food(and they’re picky eaters!) as did my husband and I. I gladly ordered the spinach feta chicken with sides of fries and mashed potatoes and couldn’t get enough! Everything was perfectly flavored and portioned. Husband ordered chicken parm and was impressed with the presentation along with the taste. Kids got small portions of pasta with marinara sauce and grilled cheese and didn’t have one complaint. Our meals arrived about ten/fifteen minutes after we ordered, which was very reasonable. Our waitress checked back at appropriate times and was very attentive. The best part? Dessert! If you ever have the pleasure of stopping in, do yourself a favor and order the peanut butter pie! Overall, a great time, atmosphere, and experience! We WILL be back for the outstanding service and food.

What a great place. I’ve been a few times and have not been disappointed. The minestrone soup is to die for, the staff is friendly, fast and accommodating. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. I will definitely be back to try the ribs that I hear are delicious.

Just wanted to try the place out, so my girlfriend and I stopped by early this afternoon. We perused the menu, there were a reasonable amount of choices that appealed to the both of us. I needed an extra minute to decide what to order, waitress didn’t return for at least 7 or 8 minutes and was not anywhere that we could see her to beckon her over. My sweetie ordered the cowboy burger, and after a few questions regarding the size of the belly clams,(the waitress didn’t quite understand the question), I ordered the fried clam roll. There was a bit of a wait to be greeted, a wait to order a drink. A wait to place the food order, we waited a reasonable amount of time for the food. Waitress did check on us promptly, but then we again waited for the bill. I agree with another reviewer that the service people hide out on the other side of the restaurant where you can’t see them. The service issue is easily fixed, but 7 small fried clams on a clam roll with a light amount of shoestring fries and a small bowl of coleslaw for 14.95 was disappointing. Girlfriend liked her burger it was ordered medium but arrived more like medium rare, not a big deal, but you should know a tendency to under cook rather than over cook. Not sure we’ll go back.

Very disappointed in my takeout fish and chips. Soggy batter that separated immediately from the under cooked tasteless white fish. No lemon instead of the extra I asked for; standard commercial french fries, decent cole slaw. no reason to return and sorry I couldn’t endorse it as a good restaurant in that spot is needed.

First time eating here– and we did take out. Food was well priced and the inside was quaint and cute. Staff was friendly that I encountered at the counter. Cozy bar with a few Tvs, definitely I place where I would hang out and watch a game. We ordered some appetizers: the spare rib was fall off the bone delish! Boneless barbecue and Asian sweet chili wings were moist, tender and scrumptious as well. Tried the French onion soup which exceeded my expectations. The calamari was tasty but it sat in too much oil and instead of the breading being crunchy it was soft and gooey due to sitting in the oils. The baked potato skins with bacon were prepared well and delivered a nice crunch with plenty of cheese to boot. I chose the Lisbon burger –medium rare which was cooked perfectly although the burger was so juicy the bottom of the brioche bun was wet and soft but somewhat expected. My wife had the chicken parm with penne– she enjoyed it and would order it again… she would have liked a little more sauce but nothing she can’t ask for the next time we order it. Overall a very pleasant experience and we are thrilled there is a local dining establishment close to where we live. We WILL be back!

Service is horrible and slow. Not looking for cafeteria quickness, but it’s entirely another thing to be repeatedly ignored between opening drinks, main order, entrée, the missed«how’s the meal so far?» and the check. The atmosphere isn’t that amazing to warrant such extensive contact gaps. Waited 15 min before waitstaff came to take drink order after seating. «Want anything other than your waters? Oh, no one brought you water? ‘She’ should have already done that.» Wasn’t like they were overwhelmed with customers either; many waitstaff congregating at service counter sharing phone photos/conversation. No fewer than 3 waitstaff came with other people’s food asking if it were ours– confirmation that even the other waitstaff seemed to think we ‘hung around’ a little longer than expected. Food is OK. 1⁄3 entrees came to service window then disappeared for another 20min as the other 2 entrees were taking longer– apparently there was an error with each of them– we overheard this in the conversations of the congregating waitstaff. Not«I’m sorry, there was an error…» we overheard it, then the wait. Our drinks went dry with again no contact for another. The cook on my salmon was not consistent– bottom charred, thick side done ok, thinner side overdone. Maybe a better choice of fillet next time or a more diligent cook? One member of my party was not asked how to have their steak cooked, was apparently simply given medium well. We miss«Restaurant 524»; great menu, pleasant waitstaff, quiet professional atmosphere. They did a great job.

Had dinner last night and was looking forward to see how different this was to 4 corners grille(same owners for those of you not from this area). They did a nice job with the décor with very nice lighting and colors. The bar area is not too loud as it sits in the center of the restaurant. The menu was very similar to 4 corners but with a few different choices. The food was very good and consistent to 4 corners. My only 2 areas of feedback are 1. the dessert case does not do justice to the more upscale theme(it reminds me of commons lunch which is not upscale) so maybe you can find a better way to display. 2. the area near the register was congregated with the wait staff too much. The staff should be out where your guests are ensuring good service and not having a chatfest especially in an area where your clientele can hear. I believe that this restaurant will be successful as the owners have a good track record and know to keep it simple, consistent and price friendly to make this a place locals want to come back to. PS– add the fish tacos to the regular menu it is one of your best dishes!!!
