This was our first time eating at this establishment. My friends and I gathered here 2.5 hours before heading out to our bio luminescent kayaking nearby on the river, back in August 2015. Although it was a few months back from the date of this review, it was quite a memorable evening. Summary: the parking lot is awkwardly shaped and can be challenging to maneuver around if your car is large or if lots of cars are around; a stale mop water smell radiated from the kitchen door; the restaurant appeared understaffed, service was slow and very disorganized, servers and waitresses did not know the menu. The food however, tasted pretty good, but was a little more pricey than what one would expect to pay in Orlando. For the full details, see below. We arrived there on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait 45 minutes for them to seat us, which is usually not unreasonable, but looking around, there were not that many patrons so we were thinking they just had to push a few tables together to be able to seat our party. After patiently waiting, we were brought to a section of the restaurant that was completely empty of people with plenty of seating. We thought it was strange but none the less remained optimistic. After a while, we finally were able to put in our orders. The salads came out sporadically for those that ordered plated entrees. A little later the main courses came out, but at different intervals with part of our group receiving their food while the others watched them eat. After a while, we noticed the boba drinks we ordered had not come out and had to re-order them again… except when they came out there wasn’t any boba in them. Already having several mishaps with the order that night, we ignored it and drank what we already received. After finishing my salad, my friends started receiving their food while I waited for mine to come out, after 10 – 15 minutes when everyone else was about done eating, I was able to waive down one of our 3 servers to inquire about my dish. Somehow the order didn’t get put in and they offered to take the order again. Already running behind on time and having been there for nearly 2 hours, I had to forgo my meal so that we could make it to kayaking. It didn’t make sense that I received the salad from my order but the entrée completely got missed. When it came time for the checks, that was also an ordeal, as they had to ask each of us what we ordered and we basically«ordered» a second time so that they could charge us accordingly. I’m usually lenient when it comes to service, but this was the worst I had ever experienced. Only credit I can give for the little food I was able to nibble off of other’s plates was that the flavor was decent and with better service and attentiveness, the restaurant could really be something.

With change in ownership the food has gone downhill. It’s terrible and I won’t be back.

Mediocre, at best. The place only had one other table occupied on a Saturday night, which should have told us what to expect. The duck ramen was basically duck bones in an oil slick with noodles. Someone else posted a photo of the duck ramen which looked nothing like what we were served. Only one small piece of edible duck and no veggies. The other dish was okay m, forgot what it was called, but t was like vegetable phở and was okay. The prices were high for what we were served. I am used to Vietnamese food from an area in California where there is a large Asian population. The Vietnamese food I am used to us much hardier fare for a lower price. Will not be returning to this restaurant.

We wanted to see the rocket launch and thought this would be perfect location to enjoy dinner and then view from their parking lot. They didn’t disappoint for either! A house salad with a tasty ginger dressing was brought to us before we even ordered. Our server also brought a cup Of the phở broth so the daughter could taste. Water glasses always kept filled as well. Superb, friendly service. He was also very accommodating about us getting up halfway though meal to watch the launch. We ordered spring rolls, duck ramen and the first phở on the menu — the one that comes with brisket, steak and meatballs. Everything was fantastic and flavorful. The ramen and phở bowls are huge, with very generous portions of meat. I took away one star because of the bathroom. They were kind of gross and could use an overhaul. Especially because in order to open stall door you need to squeeze next to the toilet.

We came to Port Canaveral to see the SpaceX launch, but unfortunately it was delayed and we continued on to Saint Augustine. Fortunately, they rescheduled it to while we were still in Saint Augustine. We drove down to Titusville and ate dinner here because of its location near the water. The service was super nice, though they were slow because they said they were busy. Nine talks doesn’t constitute busy in my opinion. I ordered the duck ramen at the suggestion of our server. The duck was delicious. The soup broth was a little sweet, so I added some of their hot sauce. My wife ordered the Phở, which she enjoyed. My daughter devoured her spring rolls. The prices were very reasonable and the menu had something to please everyone.

4 stars for a refreshingly authentic and quality restaurant that adds some much needed diversity to Titusville’s dining scene. My party of four went to VietRiver last Saturday night at around 7 pm. It was raining, so not very many people were out. Despite this, the small parking lot was still fairly full. The exterior of the restaurant is clean and has a bit of a modern vibe. Once inside, we stood briefly before a hostess came to seat us. The restaurant appears to several different dining areas, including a separate bar area. It’s decorations are Asian-inspired and not quite as modern as the sign suggests. However, it was extremely clean and the interior was still attractive. After being seated, a server promptly arrived and took drink orders. They have various drink specials, but I don’t believe any are on Saturday night. We only ordered a beer and some soda, but the cocktail menu was very creative and reasonably priced. The menu is decently large without being overwhelming. The appetizer list has a ton of great options. We decided that next time we visited we would go tapas-style and just order a bunch of apps and cocktails. The tempura vegetables, fried tofu with peanut sauce, and a shrimp option stood out as especially tempting. In the end, we only ordered off the main menu. The menu has a lot of different options and doesn’t only offer Vietnamese food. We ordered a chicken curry, a lemongrass chicken over vermicelli noodles, some type of Korean-style ribs with sweet potato fries, and ginger chicken. Everything came with a small ginger-salad, which was very good, and most things came with a side of steamed rice. The sauce was fresh with a lot of ginger. Someone also ordered a meatball soup which had a very good broth, and okay meatballs. The curry sauce was excellent, but the chicken was served in whole pieces still on the bone. This was very inconvenient to eat and there weren’t’ really appropriate utensils. The ginger chicken was one of the most popular at our table. The chicken was appropriately sized and cut, the vegetables were ample an delicious, and the sauce was really good. The lemongrass chicken entrée was good. However, the noodles were a bit lackluster, and the vegetables didn’t really add much. The chicken was good, but I wouldn’t order the noodles again. Finally, the ribs. These were very good, and the presentation was the best of the group. The ribs and sweet potato were presented on a wood tray and it looked great. The sauce was very good, and the fries tasted like they might have been made in-house. For dessert, they had a tempura cheesecake that was tempting, but we opted for a Bailey’s Thai-Tea Boba instead. It was very fun, and we might order it again. However, the tapioca balls were very hard. Overall, this is a high-quality restaurant that servers better Vietnamese food than most other places I’ve visited. Titusville definitely has a hidden gem. Highly recommended.

Here’s the good: the ambiance and friendly service. Friendliness abounded. But the actual service was inattentive. The mango boba was decent. The bad? Everything else. Shrimp was very fishy and grainy. Yuck! My dish was lukewarm. My husband ordered chicken curry. It was so watery and extremely oily(perhaps because of the skin). Bones were left in the soup, which may just be the style here but there was hardly any chicken to begin with. There was ONE drumstick in the curry, ONE piece of potato, and ONE piece of carrot. He left the restaurant hungry after spending $ 40 with tip(for the young and inexperienced waiter). In addition, my water glass was so dirty, that it could not removed from the tablecloth. Syrup left on the bottom, from what I am assuming was Coke, stuck the glass onto the table like glue. I may return in a few months to update my review, if it’s still open.
