Another Saturday night at Bertucci’s. Although it was crowded the meal was fantastic and the staff attentive as usual. The personal Margherita pizza was sensational and the rolls, my God the rolls, they were stupendous. Hot and doughy straight from the brick over of Hades. Only problem… went to use a gift card with a small balance, we’re talking $ 1.28 balance and while the gift card was taken, the amount wasn’t debited from the final bill. You know who took the hit for that??? The server on his tip, that’s right. Manager needs to train the staff better. We will be back.

Typical Faux-Italian chain, but out of all the locations I’ve been to this one is the most consistent in a positive way… THEGOOD… –service is usually friendly and welcoming –appears clean inside –warm rolls are good –pizzas are ok(I usually get the Margherita) –parking is ok –ravioli is ok THEBAD… — the complimentary salad is loaded with iceberg lettuce –I did takeout once and was a bad experience –can be a very long wait during peak times Overall, the best times to come here are for lunch or during the week. The lunch specials are reasonable. If you like the chain Italian restaurant thing, but want something better than Olive Garden I’d rather eat at this Bertucci’s.

Hubby and I had dinner at Bertucci’s on a recent weeknight. Overall, the food was really bad. The garlic rolls were very good — tasty and warm. The entrees were horrible. I had a margherita pizza. When it arrived, I took a bite and it was stone cold. I asked our server if she could have it reheated. She said she would be happy to have the kitchen make a new pizza. When she picked up my plate, she commented that the plate was definitely cool to the touch. A little while later, a cook from the kitchen delivered a «new» pizza which was actually the original pizza(I could tell because the bite I had taken was missing from the pizza). The reheating of the pizza left the crust black/burned. I find it a bit baffling that the kitchen knowingly served a pizza that was obviously burned. The tomato sauce was extremely acidic and the pizza simply wasn’t good. Hubby had rigatoni with chicken and broccoli. He said the chicken was unseasoned and he felt the dish was bland. I sampled his food and I agree. On a positive note, our server, Rhea(or perhaps Ria — short for Maria?) was excellent. She was friendly, professional, efficient, courteous and attentive. She was apologetic about the pizza(it was certainly not her fault that it was cold and then burned). The restaurant appeared to be clean and was nicely decorated. Customarily, based on the terrible food from this experience, I would give the restaurant 1 star. Rhea’s excellent service bumped up the rating to two stars. When we last visited this location several years ago, the food was good. This visit was extremely disappointing in terms of the food. We won’t be in a hurry to return.

This place has become my go-to Italian restaurant! Amazing pizzas, not like the typical Italian restaurant here in the US. Brick ovens might be the reason for their amazing food. Great customer service, never had a problem. Family-friendly, fun, and great fettuccine alfredo! Normally in restaurants like this, the sauce is way too heavy and I can’t eat it all. I’m glad I tried it here, because the amount of sauce is perfect! keep up the good work guys!

First Time at this location very clean, and customer service oriented the only problem is the restaurant was too cold. It made it very hard to enjoy my lunch due to the atmosphere. The menu was nice and they had a few nice items that I really enjoyed especially the 5 cheese ravioli. It’s so cheesy and the Italian seasonings are just right. I’ll be willing to give them another try.

Let me start by saying that everything was great from the food to the serves but it would be five stars if the music in the background was not so overpowering 4 stars

Went in for lunch, had the $ 7.99 special since brickoven pizza is their specialty figured good start. Good start for a swift kick in my own pants, not good, the problem was the crust, it wasn’t throughly baked. The only topping that was in abundance was the fresh basil, cheese not so much and sauce was average. The rolls were fresh and hot and the endless salad I swear I saw a black olive backstroking in the dressing. Next time, dressing to the side will be asked for, couldn’t expect much for $ 7.99, service was slow,

I feel like this should be expected. Bertucci’s is a step up from Olive Garden and a step down from places like Venti-Tre, IMO. My boyfriends grandmother wanted to go here, since she was feeling pretty casual(in her red Christmas track suit, adorable, I love her) so we obliged since any kind of pseudo-Italian food is tolerable. We called ahead since she is on oxygen and uses a walker, and we didn’t want to wait long. The person on the phone told me that the wait was 20 minutes and, since we were 15 – 20 minutes away, we should be seated promptly upon arrival. When I got there, the kid told me it would be about 15 – 20 more minutes, exactly what I wanted to avoid. Sigh. So we waited with our little chain restaurant buzzer thing to buzz, for about 25 minutes, until I approached this kid at the hostess stand again. He told me, repeatedly, that he had buzzed me about 15 minutes ago and yelled for us. He, in fact, did NOT do any of these things. It was not very loud and I was paying attention since I was hungry. We were seated and got bread and drinks, la di da. The bread is okay, but the olive oil it is served with wasn’t well seasoned. We ordered a margharita flatbread to start and our entrees at the same time. About 15 minutes later our server informed us that the kitchen«messed up» our flatbread and told us it would be coming out with our entrees. We told him that we didn’t want it anymore if that was the case. He was cool about it, but I was annoyed and hangry at this point. We got our entrees, which everyone seemed to mostly enjoy. I had the chicken domani, with gemelli pasta, spinach, white wine sauce, asiago cheese, and breaded chicken cutlets. It was pretty tasty, and a huge serving, so I was fairly satisfied. I liked that I could order a larger pour of wine, so perhaps this helped with the taste. We ended up all splitting a slice of tiramisu, which was decent, if dry. For the price, its not a bad value, and if you have kids, this place is great. But as someone who tends to enjoy a more unique(read: non-chain) culinary experience with much better service, it was merely okay. It seems like they have a lot of communication problems here, too.

The food was good… but this review is really about the service. The entire staff was incredibly friendly. Our charming waitress was very sweet and thoughtful — she made the experience. A nice reminder that excellent service truly makes the meal better because it’s how they made you feel not only what’s on your plate alone.

Today was my first time at Bertucci’s and I was expecting a truly wonderful experience… I was not impressed. I ordered the chicken parm and it was burnt, dry, and flavorless. The manager offered to bring me another, but I declined. I did not want to wait another 30 minutes. So he gave me a 15% off coupon which i will not be using because i won’t be returning.

Bertucci’s is a pretty decent place for brick oven pizza, especially for a chain. They have an assortment of other things like pasta, salads, etc. I pretty much am writing this review just because I felt I needed to after my experience here today. My wife and I stopped in a for late lunch today. I ordered a tuscan vegetable calzone and she ordered one of their smaller lunch size pizzas and salad. Our waitress was attentive and brought refills of drinks without asking. Food came out pretty quickly. Unfortunately when my calzone came out, it was the wrong type. No biggie, things happen and I let the waitress know. She was very apologetic and told me she’d get it corrected. The manager, Steven, came over promptly, again apologized and told me that he was working on getting the calzone out promptly and offering me anything else in the meantime to make it right or provide a complimentary dessert, etc. He even cracked a joke about how he was apologetic until he saw my hat(I was wearing a Skins hat and he’s a Cowboys fan apparently). I told him I was fine and would wait for the calzone. It really was not a big deal for me… a minor inconvenience but mistakes happen. The correct calzone came out in less than 10 minutes and Steven stopped by a couple more times to make sure everything was good(it was). He ended up comping the calzone without my asking. So food wise, Bertucci’s is pretty solid pizza and calzone joint. Can’t really comment on pasta since I don’t really eat much of it. Service wise they did really well and went above and beyond to make things right, even though I didn’t make a big deal out of the error. Definitely a plus when making a dining out decision. After all, its how a business handles mistakes that sets them apart. So kudos to Steven and the staff at Bertucci’s for handling ours so well.

They will receive no stars! This a place me and my wife went to regularly until this one time in particular. Michelle and I took sister and a couple of friends there-my sister is very specific, she order something and it took a bit longer then every one else’s food but that’s fine as long as the food is awesome or good for that matter. My sister didn’t like here foods and to be honest there is no law stating thou ought love food that thy order. We called our waiter back and my sister explained she didn’t like it but it’s fine she will pay for it, her husband well probably eat it for lunch he never came back to the table after that he ignored us for the remainder of the time we sat, then in our way out he was very very rude. We took the check and went to the manager explained our case he replied«you want me to take it off the check, did that really happen i mean he’s a nice guy he’s just having a bad day». The customer is always right when the customer is right. Ok food piss poor service no thank you. I heard there’s a place a little further down York road that serves only Rocky Mountain oysters hmmmm it has to be better at least the service

Pretty good for a chain. The last 2 times we’ve been to this location its been close to closing and the service while a bit slower(since everyone was getting the store ready for closing) we were still attended to pretty well. Waters were refilled, pizzas were brought over once they were done.

I went with my friend on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant had a good buzz. I order eggplant pomodoro with pasta and my friend had magherita pizza. Both were pretty good and fresh. I like how they use less salt than some other restaurants. The free rolls are also nice and hot.

Bertucci’s is probably my favorite chain restaurant. It’s not amazing, but it’s a step up from Chili’s and the other chain-fare. The theme is obviously Italian and they do a pretty good job of it with the brick oven and their other entrees. To start, the bread is always great — warm, crispy, and free! Even though I usually get pizza here, which is usually good, I decided to be healthy and get the ‘Spinach, Shrimp, and Feta Salad’. It was great. Everything tasted wonderful and the sweet tomatoes added a nice touch to the dish. The dressing was also great; it reminded me of a light Italian in a way. Overall, it was a great meal. The service is always good here along with the food, and I enjoy going here from time to time. Once again, it’s not spectacular, but it’s a hell of a lot better than the burgers and fajitas at Chili’s or some other chain restaurant.

I had one of the most bizarre meals in my life here. I made the sale of a year when I visited and invited a friend to join me for celebration lunch at Bertucci’s. I knew exactly what I wanted, a garlic and onion calzone. When I placed my order, the server said it would take longer for it to come out than my friend’s order. I told him I didn’t care(after all this was my treat for a huge commission check to myself, I could wait). I waited about 15 minutes and when it came, I was excited to crack the crust. And when I did, I was shocked to see ham and broccoli. I flagged the waiter down and said I had the wrong calzone. He came back a minute later and said the cook had made a calzone for his personal lunch and I had the wrong one. I looked over to the kitchen and saw the cook eating mine. He asked if I would mind just eating this one since it would take a loooong time to make another. No discount. No comped dessert. Nothing. Yeah, I ate it, but that bitter meal guarantees I will never, ever, step foot in Bertucci’s again, and I will tell everyone who will listen of how freakin’ lame this location is.
