This store is a little wonderful treat. Sure, maybe I just got lucky this day but I have a feeling they have a good steady turnover. There are cups and books and vases and towels and clothes and more. The stuff in the glass case is intriguing too. Some vintage items. All the prices are very very reasonable and they take credit cards. Friendly staff too!

Although I’ve found some good deals here, it’s extremely disorganized, cramped and there are no prices on items which makes it difficult to shop.

This is like the old days of thrift stores, where you can buy a bag of clothes(that YOU select) for $ 5, stumble upon an out of print book, find a cell phone charging dongle for $ 1(to replace the one, as my brother did, he left behind on vacation). The staff are all locals with a good nose for value. The stuff that’s junk doesn’t make it to the floor; the stuff that does is marked to sell! The best thing is, the proceeds of Talking Talons go to support the Talking Talons Youth Leadership organization that, for 20 years, has provided youth environmental education as well as a home for non-releasable birds of prey, bats and reptiles. Its only 25 minutes up the Turquoise Trail from Tramway, worth the drive; but then again, I’m a local so its closer.
