I have lived at Georgetown Manor for 18 months and absolutely love it. Management is wonderful, very helpful, kind, flexible, and always willing to go the extra mile to get you what you need, within reason. The apartments are spacious, clean, bright, and the pantry is huge! everything was in excellent condition when we moved in. Maintenance is great, quick to respond, and always makes sure we’re taken care of fully before moving on. The property has a year-round, indoor, heated pool, two saunas(male and female), a small gym, and a recroom with two pool tables and ping pong. It is just behind the Washington Square Mall and is very close to the 217 freeway. I couldn’t ask for a better living situation. Rent does go up after your lease because they are constantly changing to update to the county standards, which is unfortunate, but they always give advanced warning of this. Also, they love pets and always remember out dogs name and even love when we bring him around to visit at the office. I highly recommend Georgetown Manor to anyone looking to rent in this area.

I have lived at George Town for two years now, and I can honestly say I’m happy. What initally brought me to this appartment was the security factor of all the doors being inside(like a hotel) and you have to enter a door code to get in. I moved from salem and I was nervous about being in a larger city away from my family for the first time. Two years later I have never ONCE had an issue with feeling unsafe at home, but they also did recently hire a security person for night time. Rose the manager is so bubbly, and charismatic. Anything I have needed she has helped me figure out, even some strange things she has taken with grace. The staff is always friendly, helpful and knows practically everyone by name, which I find impressive. The rent is affordable for being so close to Portland(Right now for a 2 bed I pay 820 including garbage and water). The neighbors are all fairly respectful, and I often wonder if IM being too loud because I never hear anyone else. Living next to the mall is awesome, I love to walk over for lunch or shopping, but you can also walk to Dennys, Target, the gas station and some other places if you’re ambitious. The laundry facilities are adequate and affordable. I live on the same level as the laundry mat, and the only reason I was ok moving here with out in unit WD is because its all inside so you don’t have to walk outside to check your mail, go to the pool, do laundry or anything. There seems to always be one machine or so out of order, but its open 24⁄7 and with 8 washers and at least 8 dryers its easy to do massive amounts all at once in the middle of the night when no one else is. I like the layout of our two bedroom, and I have lived in a one bedroom here too. The one bed is a little strange because the ONLY bathroom is in the bedroom so guest have to go through your room to get to it. For some people, that’s not a big deal but after six months it drove me crazy. The pool is almost always empty, but even though it claims to be heated, I really don’t think it is. I have rented the rec room out for a few parties and its actually really fun and convenient. I call this place home, and will for a while longer.

Pretty good apartments. Nice management. I like the pool and have lived here for a few years. Haven’t left yet so that says something. Great location which is why there is usually a wait list. Being right next to Target is dangerous for me. Wouldn’t live in the one bedrooms though because the only bathroom is in the bedroom which, to me, is a privacy intrusion when guests are over. Terrible parking but multiple bus lines nearby. Pretty big apartments but appliances and heating system are rather outdated.
