Love this place soo much! This is our weekly brunch/breakfast spot. I have never had a bad meal or service here.

Oh my goodness this place is delicious. Great atmosphere and beer served in coozies. Potato skins are literally a full sized potato sliced in half and stuffed with deliciousness. I Had the best sandwich, sadly I can’t remember its name(Portland something maybe?) but it was filled with even more deliciousness. Love love love this place!

Tortuga’s is my favorite restaurant in Savannah. Tubby’s is typical, shitty, tourist food. I have no idea why people flock there and miss tortugas. Best shrimp and grits, mojo chicken, and brunch in the city. Small, casual, and unsuspecting that you would get such high quality food here. Best seafood in Savannah as well. Eat here, then go to tubby’s for drinks outside.

Shrimp fitters were awesome and the burger was perfect! The Menu has a wide range of sandwiches. Service was superb and we will return. If you are here for breakfast make sure you try the biscuits and also the crab cakes.

Pros: There was an outdoor table available on a Saturday night at 8. They brought our dog a big clean bowl of water. They served our beers with coozies. Cons: They didn’t have the Cuban sandwich I wanted, so I ordered the shrimp panini with coleslaw which was rather disappointing but edible. The worse offense was that they cooked my boyfriend’s steak well done when he requested it medium rare. Ruined a perfectly good steak. They didn’t charge us for it at least, considering he could only eat a few bites.

Great Sunday Brunch! We had the Sharknado #1& #2 as well as the shrimp panini and Jimmy Lou’s Chicken sandwich. All were fantastic! Great little place. Glad to stumble upon it! Great job guys.

The burger was legit! It’s huge and very flavorful. Dogs are welcome out front. Our waitress was attentive and answered all of our questions honestly. I wasn’t a huge fan of Savannah but this stop was definitely a highlight from our trip. If you’re in the area don’t let the Location put you off. The food is worth it.

First time here after coming to Savannah fot years. It was awesome– had shrimp and grits with andouille sausage, tasso, with brown roux. Andouille sausage wasn’t like it came from a package, but as though it came as ground andouille — definitely a cut above most andouille. Roux was more like brown gravy, but a few shots of Tobasco fixed that up. Best shrimp and grits I’ve had in a long time and I have the dish a lot.

Went for lunch. Very good grouper sandwich special. Good service. A little pricey for lunch but tasty. This place will be in my regular rotation for sandwich places.

The food was outstanding and the service was good also. The menu had some creative options and didn’t disappoint — we’ll definitely be back again soon.

Very fresh and delicious with a cozy atmosphere. I had the Jerk Chicken salad and my husband the Portabella Mushroom and Crab cake. Both were amazing and I can imagine that anything Crab cake is worth it from here.

I am not trying to make this a scathing review and in all fairness walking into this restaraunt was our second choice since Tubbys was packed… Food was a bit over priced but moderate quality and the environment was very quite. Where my complaint comes in is at my burger, I asked for medium rare and came out almost raw. Asked politely to have it cooked a bit more got a dirty look and they cooked one half of it and left the other raw… One and done for this place.

Pretty sure everything is excellent. The French toast is so freaking good I can’t even… Dad had the What… A crab cake/egg dish on spinach. I’m not a crab cake fan, but I had a bite and it was pretty tasty.(very fluffy, too) Hubby and I had the big breakfast, and it is big!(I may have to roll out to the car) Munchkin had a burger as big as her face. Cute little place, friendly staff(I’m guessing family run) Will definitely visit again.

We have been here a few times several years ago, but it seems to have gone downhill. It seemed like only one waitress was working – and while she was working her butt off there were like 12 tables of people and so service was extremely slow. For $ 2, the portion of orange juice was tiny. My breakfast sandwich was okay, except the sausage patty was a rock-hard hamburger patty-ish hockey puck. I couldn’t eat it. The husband’s western with grits was good, and the biscuits were absolutely divine. All in all, we were not impressed and won’t hurry back, unfortunately.

This has become a regular dinner and brunch spot because it’s consistently great. The menu is solid and the specials are creative and fun. Very few places can claim that anymore — too many restaurants want to be absolutely certain to serve up predictability. Grouper, portobello mushrooms, crab cakes. Whatever you want to try will come with a seasonal veggie that’s perfect. Do not miss Tortuga’s.

Great breakfast/brunch. They open at 10:00am. Everything is always fresh. The big breakfast will stay with you until dinner. I have been there about 10 times for breakfast. Service and food can’t be beat. The biscuit and cheese grits are a must.

A nice little hole in the wall place in Savannah! We sat outside(which was kind of weird… it was literally in the parking lot), but the weather was so beautiful we didn’t care. Two of us got the special — blackened snapper on Texas toast with some mayo aioli I believe. It was pretty good but the snapper was a little chewy. Their fries were awesome though. My coworker’s homemade chips were apparently«just okay». I kind of wish I’d gotten something off the regular menu just to see how good this place is on a regular basis. I was pretty disappointed because everything sounded so good and I was starving. I will go back to try some more of their items, but overall if I could give it 3.5 stars I would.

After our dreaded attempt at getting dinner at another establishment, we decided to look for another place to eat and stumbled across this place by chance. And I have to say, I was not disappointed. The food here was excellent, the service was top notch and our waitress was very friendly. So if you want to eat at a great place that’s very quiet, I’d recommend Tortugas

This is a quaint little spot that is off the tourist beaten track! We were suggested to come here by our bed & breakfast host as we were staying in the area. So we took our bicycles and found this tucked away restaurant! I had the delicious Southern omelette with green tomatoes, cheese and chicken(substituted it for the bacon) and hubby got the huevos rancheros that came in a fried shell which I’ve never seen before. We had to time this right on a Sunday because they close at 2pm and we knew if they closed we’d have to go to Tubby’s down the street. Which we heard was also good but that Tortuga’s was better. Service was great. After lunch we found across the street a cute little boardwalk where we soaked in the sun’s rays for a while before getting back on our bikes.
