I’ll echo most of the other comments regarding the contents of the store. I’m really writing this review because of my experience with the staff. First off, the prices are very reasonable for what they have. We stopped by here after visiting a nearby apple orchard and decided we will return there to pick up some things for our summer cottage next year. We did buy a piece of wicker furniture for a ridiculously cheap price, though. Unfortunately, it was about 3 inches too big for my car. The owner came out and helped us for about a half-hour until we were able to make it fit. Even after«modifying» the item to get in the back seat, he told us they would still take it back if it turned out to be too much hassle. I really appreciated that and plan on returning there when we go peach-picking next summer.

Great place for knick knacks and dust gathering objects, but don’t expect to find antiques or highly tasteful items for your summer cottage. You will, however find a real bell for your door, cute little figurines for the yard, candles, iron stuff, and more stuff… so if you are hunting for stuff, this is the place. I bought a Pretty Tools hammer(must have for your female friends or housewarming gift) and a Pretty tools flashlight.

While there are some antiques offered for sale, this HUGE100-year old warehouse is packed with interesting, unusual and really cool stuff. I stop in about once a month to see the new arrivals and am always greeted wtih very friendly service. They are known to produce and hand-pour over 300 different designs of concrete garden stepping stones. The Featherbone Factory is a home and garden décor shop with so much to see and choose from. Hand made copper weather vanes are awesome and work with any décor from traditional to contemporary. With New Buffalo nearby, they also have a good supply of Maritime décor items as well. You’ll get a good idea of their offerings by visiting their facebook page. It’s easy to spend hours in the shop pouring over the many, many unique items offered for sale. This is an excellent place to find house warming gifts as well! The address listed is for their office and not the store itself. You’ll find the store located on Generations Drive, behind the Three Oaks Post Office.

This place is not as much of an antique shop as it is a warehouse to furnish expensive summer homes. That said the original Featherbone employeed the majority of my family from the 1920’s onward — in fact many of them can be found in a large panaramic photo when you walk into the facility. Celebrating the past is a positive way to remember it and in many ways the Featherbone manages this well. It’s a nice place with interesting and very articulate reproductions — many in cast iron. The serivce there is very friendly and I would say if we had a summer place in the county, Featherbone would be our first stop!

This really isn’t an antique store. All the merchandise looks old. Most of it is made out of iron. Door knockers, decorations, planters, lumber furniture etc. The prices are very reasonable. I have seen this stuff for triple the price over the boarder. Great local find.
