The soft melting sheets of thin ice remind me of the very first Christmas in Big Bear.

LOVELOVELOVE the gelatos there! I have been coming to Paciugo for their gelato for 3 years now and I LOVE their gelatos. It has one of most expansive flavor selections I have seen. My favorites are Amarettos, Pistachios and dark chocolate. Each flavor is very intense and you can really taste the nuts/cookies/fruit within each flavor. The store offers free sample of each flavor and the staff is very friendly. One thing I really like is the option to include up to 3 flavors for a small cup, which really allows you to taste many flavors. The gelato melts in your mouth and it is the perfect thing to do after a movie. The cost is very reasonable and it is less than $ 5 per person. There is limited sitting inside but there are extra tables right outside the store. Best gelato place in town! Highly recommend!

This is the best gelato ever…(and if you’re still on the ice cream train, jump off FAST!) Flavors galore, you can fit three flavors in the smallest size cup, and the employees are kind. You can also sample any of the flavors before you make a decision. If you’re looking for a sweet treat, look no further.

Love this gelato place. It is conveniently located at The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks, in the outdoor section of the mall. The gelato here is creamy and flavorful. They have plenty of flavors to choose from including no fat, no dairy options. The water based sorbets are just as good as the regular gelato. The small is plenty big and you can choose three different flavors. They also make espresso drinks as well as frappes, affogatos(gelato topped with hot espresso and whipped cream), and frizzantes(which are like gelato ice cream sodas). The employees are super friendly and helpful. The store is clean. There is plenty of seating outside on the patio. We always try to stop by here on every trip to the mall for a sweet treat! 43⁄100

I love how creamy their gelato is and it’s not too«sweet» for my liking. I had the Banana cookies n’ milk, tiramisu, and Mediterranean Sea Salt Caramel.

Awesome flavors, quick & courteous staff, decent pricing. A nice addition to the outside part of The Oaks mall on the second floor above Spencer’s.

Until I go to Italy, I think I’ve found my favorite gelato place in LA. Somewhat unexpectedly, its located on the 2nd floor above and across from the Forever 21 in The Oaks shopping mall. A medio(medium) costs $ 4.95 plus .65 for a waffle cone. They have tons of flavors, many of the classics but also a slew of unique flavors. We tried: Vanilla Lavender — flowery but not overpoweringly so. Almond Pistachio — really good. Not too nutty and more smooth even with a double nut mixture. Panna Cotta(Wedding Cake) — delicious, tastes exactly like rich, decadent, creamy vanilla cake. Key Lime Pie — tart but if you’re the type that likes a big of tang and sourness then you’ll like this. Tastes like Key Lime Pie I’ve had in Florida with a strong citrus taste. The top two for us were the Panna Cotta and the Almond Pistachio. Overall, this gelato is pretty fantastic. It’s creamy, consistent, with no iciness or goop. I know they have 70% less fat than ice cream and you wouldn’t believe it with how incredibly creamy this gelato is. Plus, they let you mix and match four flavors in a medio and then they overfill your cup so its truly one of the best gelato places out there. It’s too bad they are all the way in Thousand Oaks otherwise I’d probably be their best customer! Tip: parking can be brutal in this crowded lot during the weekends

Celebrated a shopping coup with a stop at Paciugo. So many flavor choices! The three(!) staff members were very friendly and speedy. Was able to sample before committing. Chose three flavors in the small cup. I remember the violet and key lime pie. The third had a long name, but was a fun mix of flavors like waffle cone, chocolate and caramel swirl. All were frosty fun. The extensive & varied selection is like eye candy. Even better, you get to eat your choices! We recommend a stop for weary shoppers. Wish I had some right now!

The Oaks is not your ordinary mall, Paciugo not your average ice cream. In fact it’s gelato and has 70% less fat than ice cream. Not that I care, not one bit, it is THAT good and worth every single creamy, delicious calorie! They have a huge selection of gelato and sorbets to chose from, I would say about 20⁄10 I sampled a few and was excited to see that you can mix up to 3 flavors in a small cup for around $ 4. In all we had 9 flavors plus a few samples and i was in love with each one. Depending on your taste buds, I was obsessed with my sons crunchy chocolate one, so plain but yet the best crunchy chocolate chunks I have ever had. Service was super nice and patient, I am glad to see they have three location thus far, I know I’ll be back for more, really some of the best ice cream/gelato I have ever had!

The Service: EXCELLENT! Staffs are very friendly, big smile on their faces. I have tried chocolate, pumpkin, salted caramel or strawberry vinagrette. Salted caramel has to be my absolute favorite! The sweet and savory combined together… gelato heaven!!! Definitely will come back and try out the rest of 20+ flavors~
