The food is good but the service is horrible, you wait more than half an hour to take the order, besides another 15 min to deliver drinks, the degree of despair and all the enzyme responsible person on the phone, without pay, without regard tables besides having food ready behind her. But but the worst is when you deliver your meal you get a hair in the food.

Delicious pupusas and tamales. Hole in the wall. Lots of menu options. Coleslaw with every order. Yummy fried plantains. Totally legit.

They close at 930pm. I’m here at 845pm with my group and we’re told only«to go». Really? Lame. I left without ordering.

Glad I found this place. Coming from SF where Central American restaurants are plentiful, I have a go-to place to satisfy my cravings. Great food and friendly staff.

Delicious and inexpensive well worth every dollar. I love this place. I always order the pupusas & they never disappoint me. By far the best El salvadorian restaurant in town. My 7yr old son loves it too!

I was there close to an hour waiting for my food. Never got it, decided to leave. Very disappointing and a waste of time. Will not be back. Do not recommend.

So happy to have found an authenthic resturant in TO. Talk about a hidden gem! The food and service is excellent. I did notice it took awhile until our food came. I suggest ordering ahead if your limited on time. Otherwise, this place is great! I will definitely be returning soon!

Wow the Pupusas are fantastic here! A side of cole slaw comes with every plate so if you don’t want to waste it, just ask for them to hold it. Two Pupusas will be filling. I had the Green Chile and Cheese and the Carnitas. Yum on both accounts. I will be back!

I Have stopped going since every time I order eggs over easy they bring them sunny side up and cooked where the yolk doesn’t even run, and I always specify how I want my eggs, how hard is it to make eggs to a customers satisfaction? I didn’t make a big deal over it until one day I thought it was ridiculous they got my order wrong again, my husband asked for new eggs and repeated what I had ordered as far as the eggs go and the server gave an annoyed look and apologized and brought back eggs that were not only runny but undercooked this time! ridiculous! We had gone about 4 times and each time they got it wrong. On Another occasion I went in to quickly buy a drink(they only sell the type I like here) and go have dinner(My husband and I were hungry and in a hurry). I went in and the Server greets me and assures me that she will be a moment, I take her word and wait. She spent 7 minutes entering an order and standing there waiting for a credit card to go through, while she could’ve served my drink and I could have been on my way home. A man walked in and sat at the bar section next to me and immediately the female owner comes out of the kitchen without so much at a glance at me and asks the man if his order had been taken. Unfortunately I thought this women had some manners and would ask if I had been helped yet but apparently this women only tends to male customers? While this women takes the mans order, a few moments later another man walks in and orders with her as well. She takes their orders to the kitchen and isn’t seen again? The entire time this happens the server could have asked her to simply serve my drink? The customer service here is horrible, unless you’re a man. Avoid this place! I have had much better food in Simi Valley Clavel Restaurant, the pupusas there are spectacular and they don’t ignore their customers, no matter how small an order!

There’s nothing better than finding authentic Salvadorean food. This establishment is everything I look for when craving pupusas, horchata or platanos. It’s a small spot, but they have great food and the staff is friendly.

Born and raised in El Salvador, almost 10 years living in the states and FINALLY found a place with a total authentic Salvadoran flavor. It was almost like eating back in Olocuilta! Hands down for this place! It’s small, not the cleanest ever(just like in the mother land:) during the summer they could crank up a bit the AC, BUT the food, oh my beloved Salvadoran food, I’ve found it again!

Found this little gem today while browsing at Flooring 101. It’s tucked away which makes it hard to even know it’s there. The place was clean and open. The waitress was cheerful and helpful. All patrojs there were Hispanics so you know that’s always a good sign. The wife and I ordered the Sampler plate which had bit of everything and perfect for two. The Pupusas were great! It was not too thick and had a good crunch. The food took some time to arrive but I think it’s because they make everything to order.(Heard and saw a woman make the Pupusas so we know it was not frozen). Great to see more and more ethnic food in the area and little mom and pop businesses.

Really good, stick to your ribs food. My husband and I both got the #3(pupusa, plantains and tamale) and banana milkshakes. A bowl of coleslaw was also brought to the table. When you look at the pictures that people have posted, it doesn’t look like a lot of food, but it is very filling. I imagine it’s all of the starch, but I’m not complaining, since carbs are my weakness. I don’t know how long the restaurant has been around, but there was a steady stream of people coming in to eat or pick up food. One guy that came in with a friend told him that he came there all the time. We’ve never had Salvadoran food before, and we both really enjoyed it. If you’ve never had it before, I recommend it. It’s an opportunity to be a little adventurous without having to make the commitment to drive out to the Valley or L.A. to do so.

Before coming here, I read tons of reviews and got the impression that flavor would be exploding in my mouth. It didn’t particularly, but it was still and interesting experience to eat the food here.

We really enjoyed our first visit to this place. The waitress, Yuliana, was very welcoming and friendly. She guided us through the menu suggesting what is popular here. We ordered a combo that included two pupusas. They were awesome! I would especially recommend the one that has refried beans in it. The beans are really good. I also got the chili & cheese pupusa and that one was really good too! It had a really nice spiciness to it. For those looking for spicy(or not) — don’t be put off by the habanero salsa on the table. It really isn’t that spicy. I’d compare it to a medium or mild salsa from anywhere else. Overall — really good food, great service!
