I work in the mall and frequently walk by this ice cream store. I’m always tempted to get the best chocolate peanut butter ice cream here. But unfortunately for my sweet tooth there is either no one at the store front or someone cleaning with their back turned to the customer. I rarely get ice cream because there is no one available to help me. My wallet and husband are probably thankful due to this though.

Strawberry milkshake at $ 7.29 for a regular size. Tastes great and made with generous scoops of real HaagenDas ice cream. Yum!

I realized after reviewing the Westlake Haagen Dazs that I hadn’t yet reviewed my usual ice cream spot. I love going here when I’m in the mall. The only one better is the one in Downtown Disney, and that’s because of its location. The girls working here are usually upbeat and friendly. The prices are to be expected for the great quality. Best of all is the selection! I only wish Haagen Dazs would bring back macadamia nut.

Westlake Village, CA
Got a couple of single scoops here last weekend before the movie at Muvico (yes, I know it’s Carmike theater now but Muvico is more like the Movies). Had the Rocky Road and a Coconut, and both were classic Haagen Dazs and excellence is truly expected and delivered. Just the right amount of nuts in both, perfect taste and flavor, and solid without being icy on a hot day even in the mall.

Love, love love the Haagen Dazs!
This shop is inside the Thousand Oaks Mall and is a simple walk-​up /​take-​away store front. However, it has a great selection which should satisfy all your sugar craving desires!
I personally long for the Waffle Cone Shake. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water. Yum!
The employees (mostly teens) are nice enough, but can sometimes get busy chatting rather than serving.
The store is kept clean (which is pretty easy because it’s tiny.)
Give your taste buds a little vacation and pay a visit the next time you’re in this mall!
