We recently had a family/baby session with the owner of the Eight20, Nicky. She was extremely professional, patient and creative with our photos. She worked with us to choose a great location with a lot of different spots for photos. Our 7 month has started to move around and grab things and Nicky was able to get his attention and take plenty of shots to get the perfect end result. She takes a lot of photos to ensure that she gets great ones with everyone looking good. Luckily Nicky shot fast enough so our baby never lost interest and was happy the whole time. She worked around his nap & feeding schedule too. She did an amazing job with the photo editing and works fast to give a sneak peak of some of the best shots. We are so happy with our photos that we will treasure forever!

Eight 20 Photography are talented, professional, and very knowledgeable! Nicky not only provided a beautiful album of photos(artfully turned black and white for just the right pictures) but she help me find a location, made suggestions on how to order the best prints, and made the whole process enjoyable — but also quick and easy. I’d highly recommend Eight 20 for all your photography needs!

The photographers and the finalized cleaned up photos were great, but we felt very mislead after the initial consultation. If you do decide to choose Eight20 Photography, keep in mind these lessons learned. * They will charge $ 40 per photo(not included in price) for them to be Photoshopped, retouched, and print-ready. This is to get them as a file for additional use, not including any actual printed photos. * You will have to pay extra and go out on a limb to have access to your engagement photos before the wedding(example: if you want to use any for your save the dates, announcements, reception pieces, etc.). GOODLUCK getting them. * Double check, and triple check the prices and that they add up and are giving you all the discounts agreed on. We caught them twice charging us more than originally agreed.

I have yet to book Eight 20 Photography myself, but I’ve been to weddings that they have shot and have always been highly impressed with their professionalism and talent! They are extremely creative and come up with unique shots that match the personalities of the people they are shooting, but never miss getting the traditional shots everyone wants from their wedding day. They also do great events other than weddings. I have been following their work for almost a year and their photos just keep getting better and better. I have recommended them to friends and plan on using them when I get married myself!

First off, let me preface this by saying that Nicky and Eric are two of the dearest friends I could ever hope to have. I love them both, but in no way does this effect the review written below. I tell it like it is, and if there was something lacking in the service they offer, I would point it out. Luckily, I don’t have to. Nicky and Eric offer photography services for just about everything, but they specialize in wedding and engagement photos. Personally, I cannot stand staged wedding photos where the bride and groom pose in front of a fountain with plastered on fake smiles, surrounded by bridesmaids and groomsmen with similarly fake smiles. I was one of those bridesmaids on more than one occasion, and there’s nothing more unromantic than a photographer telling you to lower your arm(but not THAT low!) and turn your head to the left(but not THAT much!) while you’re shivering in the wind. These two specialize in photojournalism-style photography, which means that they take photos as the moment happens, which, in turn, means that you get to relive the moments as they happen. They take hundreds of photos at the event, then go over them later and cherry-pick the ones that do the best at showcasing the subjects. Your photos will look like they were ripped from the pages of Vogue, I kid you not. I could go on and on about their beautiful photos, but as with all visual works, it’s much better for you to see what they can produce. They maintain a beautiful blog at , and they regularly update it with their latest photo shoots and events.
