Conejo Swimworks

Conejo Swimworks is the only place I go to get my daughter’s swim gear. We’ve been going there for 7 years and have never had a problem. They returned and gave us a new Fastek suit at a meet when the seams came unstitched. She special orders prescription goggles when we need them. The store inventory is always changing and you can always find a good deal. They have also handled the high school suits and have done a fantastic job fitting all of the girls on the team. It doesn’t get any better than this store and it also shows you don’t have to be the biggest store to get great variety.

I can hardly give this store even one star. I purchased a Speedo swim bag for my daughter at this shop. Abut one month after I purchased the bag, the teeth in the zipper started to fall out. I brought it back to the store’s booth at a local swim meet where the owner told me that she would send the bag back to Speedo because, on this particular model, they had been getting a lot of complaints about this defective zipper. She said she would call me as soon as Speedo told her what to do. We waited a few weeks but got no call. I started calling the shop and speaking with whatever sales person answered the phone only to be told that they would ask the owner about when we would get a replacement bag. They always said they would call me back but NEVER did. I called several times, left several messages on their machine, my daughter even went down to swim meet that they had a booth (the person working the booth didn’t know about the issue so was not able to resolve it for us) and ultimately, a year later they took our original speedo bag, and have never issues a replacement and have never called us back.
Before this issue, our entire team ordered warm ups from this store. They were supposed to call when the warm up orders arrived. They never called, my daughter received her warm ups two months later than expected and they were found sitting in their back stock room. The sales person didn’t even know they were there until I asked him to look.
Seems like a crazy way to do business. The prices are nothing to speak of, their service is terrible — I sticking with Swimoutlet.
