went in for 2 slices after getting boned in the ass by car insurance, did not expect the same here. if i noticed my slice of pep and slice of tomato basil were $ 9. i would have thrown the plate in the dudes face. as for the pizza. burnt crust, while still being floppy and wet in the middle. its far from good pizza, its just crappy east coast pizza. zero flavor in the crust, just a crisp piece of cardboard with bland sauce and semi alright cheese. just go to Toppers pizza, less then 5 min away. 100x better.

I’ve been coming here for several years. It was called Mulberry St. before. The Pizza is the same and that’s a good thing.

I live in the area and recently discovered this place. Definitely my family’s new favorite pizza place. Not only was the pizza delicious and huge, the owner is very friendly and accomodating. He made us feel so at home. Thank you so much! Will recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you Steve Butler and team for your warm hospitality and amazingly yummy Italian food! Chopped salad with pepperoncini and vinaigrette dressing was spot on. The chicken parmesan was out of this world… healthy portion size and the best marinara sauce we’ve tasted outside of Mama’s kitchen! We’ll be back!

Definitely not Mulberry’s at all… would go back if their service was better — they can’t seem to handle multiple orders at once. I gave them another shot, this time for delivery. After an hour of no pizza, we called(they didn’t even bother to call US) and discovered their delivery car broke down, and that we could either have the pizza made an hour ago(cold) or to wait another hour for a new pizza. Needless to say, we opted for NO pizza and my coworkers and I ate out of the vending machine for lunch. Never again… not sure if they’ll ever get their act together.

From my 6 year old: awesome pizza there nice and crusty with a lot of cheese and its nice and big. From my 9 year old: Its quite good it has the perfect cheese and oil in it, and its quite thin but big. Apologies for my kids’ grammar. Being Asian they do much better at math. They really enjoyed the pizza and wanted to chime in. Anyways, I’ve never tried Mullberry pizza so I can’t make any comparison. I did take out so I just paid and took out the pies without talking to anyone so I can’t comment on the personalities of the people there, but they seemed friendly enough. My kid put his chin on the counter and stared at the cookies, so they guy gave a free cookie. We tried one of those conejo deals-buy $ 10 for $ 20 worth of food and it was well worth it cause it’s pretty good for thin slice NY style pizza. If you are a New Yorker nothing in California will ever live up to your standards so don’t go to this place(or any place in California for that matter) expecting NY pizza. But as a CALIFORNIAN who lived in NYC for four years who transitioned from enjoying crispy crust California style pizza to large foldable-floppy-river-of cheese-grease-down-the-middle NY style pizza, then this is right in between(closer to NY style but still just slightly crispy). If you like white pizza, then this place does a good job. Compared to other pizza, I’d rank as such: Butlers, Ameci, Draughts, Toppers, Costco, Pizza Hut, and Dominos. I certainly will be going back. Enjoy if you check it out.

Only open since Oct. this Pizza Restaurant has a homey feeling to it. The owner and his wife are very friendly and made us very comfortable. We did not wait long at all for our pizza. It was delicious. We ordered extra cheese and he warned us that it may be too much because how they do their pizza a regular amount is perfect. II think he was right! The pizza was pouring over with cheese! I will definitely eat her again!!!

We arrived thinking we were at Mulberrry Street and were sadly wrong. From the rude guy behind the counter with the attitude like we were bothering him by coming in, to the mediocre food that was served — it was bad. So sad Mulberrry Street is no more. This is NOT a replacement!

I decided to try Butler’s after Mulberry closed. Ordered a Sicilian Pie– the sauce was sour, the crust was not cooked evenly — the outer sides were not edible as they were so hard I could not even bite thru it and the center crust not completely cooked. We had 2 bites and threw the entire pizza out. We also ordered plain cheese NY style — again the sauce was sour tasting, and the crust was just so-so. I really hate writing this review as I was hoping Butler’s would be my new pizza place — if we had not been rushing for the holidays I would have taken the scicilan back to show them the problem. Hope you fix this.

The pizza was just OK in my opinion. There are a lot of pizza places around and I feel that many are much better. Also the menu is VERY confusing. On one site they have the Butler’s Pizza, and on the other side they have Mulberry Street Pizza’s menu which was the former name for this restaurant. They also have a Gluten Free pizza but no Gluten Free option for a salad dressing. Not even Oil & Vinager.

My husband and I were in the mood for pizza, and decided to check out butlers pizza! I had been there a while back when it was Mulberry pizza and heard that there was a change in ownership. We went in and checked it out and the owner was very nice and the pizza was delicious! The crust was light and crispy and the ingredients were very fresh and flavorful! We enjoyed it so much, I went back with my mom the next day. Definitely worth checking out! It’s a nice little pizzeria and they are open late on the weekends!

Butler’s pizza is new to the area but owned and operated by a seasoned restaurantuer and golf pro… Omg nirvana great pizza and swing advice now we’re talking lol Famous Mulberry Street Pizza is now Butler’s wink wink grin grin don’t tell anybody but it’s still Mulberry Pizza dough, ingredients, recipes and chef’s with also an expanded menu to boot. Did I mention the free golf advice as you wait :-) Butler’s is Mulberry’s legit pizza in a little neighborhood pizzeria on Thousand Oaks Blvd… I picked up a large made into quarters with Eggplant basil tomato, White pizza with spinach, Barbecue Chicken and then lastly good old cheese. The pizza was really good, devoured in what seemed like the blink of an eye. Inviting friendly staff, non descript location but pizza that rocks with golf advice seriously I’m hooked oops I mean slice oh well thank god for great pizza and golf advice to cure my hook and slice problem lol Btw scratch made chocolate chip cookies with walnuts wow so good. Enjoy Butler’s Pizza shush I mean Mulberry Street Pizza well you get my drift and hopefully some really good pies along with lowering your handicap in the process…

I would give Butler’s more stars if the service was better. Formerly Mulberrry Street now Butlers, I’m not sure how long they’ve been operating but behind the counter there’s a lot of confusion and the long wait for food is ridiculous. About an hour for wings and pizza. Anyway, once the pizza showed it was delicious! Thin crust pepperoni and sausage. The guy behind the counter apologized for the long wait and adjusted our bill nicely. I will go back. Hopefully the service gets better organized. Try it out it’s very good Pizza.

So my son is to pizza what Mikey is(was) to Life Cereal. So when I brought him home two slices of classic pepperoni from the new Butler’s Pizza in the old Mulberry Pizza spot, I was expecting a blasé reaction. BUT, my picky pizza eater declared it «awesome» which is quite a compliment if you know the source. Of course, I was still the bad guy…“Why did you only bring me two pieces? Get a whole pizza next time!” OK… will do. Welcome to the neighborhood Butler’s Pizza!

I couldn’t believe the massive pizza I saw them taking out of the oven, it was bigger than a small child! Not only was the pizza a novelty, but it was also incredibly flavorful and saucy(I LOVESAUCE!) We will be back! They said most all of the recipes are the same as the formers owners used(the famous Mulberry Pizza,) for any die-hard Mulberry lovers. I’ve had both and couldn’t taste a difference except to rave about this most recent experience.
