I’ve been in about five times, and every time the staff is too busy talking amongst themselves to assist me. When I ask them for help finding a product or at the cash register, they are visibly annoyed.
If I’m asking them to honor their promotion of a free gift, they are always out of the product. Instead of trying to come up with a solution, they turn me away completely. Often, I go to this mall purely for this store, and so their lack of customer service is superbly frustrating.
I decided to buy online and it was an amazing experience. Free shipping when you buy over a certain amount, they honor their promotions, and give extra free goodies! When one of the free promotions was not honored accidentally, I wrote the website and Jordan wrote me back promptly and sent me the gift free of charge. Wonderful customer service! Don’t go to the store, buy online!

Can’t find my email on their computer, never assisted me… The staff is never the same! Never anyone who knows ethnic skin.

Love this place and all that it carries! Very friendly staff and helpful as well. Super knowledgeable on products. They took back some stuff I ordered online (wrong color ect…) no questions and hooked me up with the right items I needed! Thank you for making me beautiful! I recommend for sure and I have been a client for over 10 years !!

After having a horrible experience on my wedding day at a different salon, I came here last minute. They were able to do my make up right away and give me exactly what I hoped for. I wish I remembered the girls name who did mine because she did an amazing job! (Plus it lasted all night and didn’t smear!!) If you are wanting to get your make up done and currently use this product I recommend coming here! I would go back again and again!

Ashley helped me pick out my make up set and also did my make up. Took the time to explain different things to me while being extremely patient with me :)

I love the products they sell and have been using them for about 8 years now. My rating is not on the product, which is sold in a lot of places and online, my review is on the store in the Oaks mall.
I’ve gone here several times, and have had mixed experiences. Sometimes I get a very helpful, eager salesperson and leave with a pleasant impression. Other times, like last weekend, I’m disappointed when a lazy salesperson is working that seems irritated a customer walked in. The management ought to train its employees not to talk on the phone while ringing up a customer, as that is the ultimate sin in the world of customer service.
Will continue to shop here because I like their products and it’s convenient, but I’ve lowered my expectations of the staff.

I love the eyeshadow selection available, they’re are so easy to work with and there are so many to choose from. But I have stopped shopping here because of the lack of customer service. More than once I have walked into the store and was not greeted or asked if I needed help even though I was the only one in the store.

This past Sunday, while shopping at the T.O. Mall, I decided to stop in at the Bare Escentuals boutique. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular but I love Bare Minerals and I thought it would be cool to see what new things they had.
I am writing this because I am so IMPRESSED with the employees there. They truly know the definition of customer service! I was helped by a lovely gentleman who greeted me warmly as I walked in. He was incredibly welcoming and offered to help me find products. I told him I just came in to browse and he was so sweet and said if I had any questions that he would be happy to help me out. After browsing, I ended up having a few questions (and let’s just be honest, I had more than a few questions) and he was incredibly patient and explained how different products worked and what products would be best for me. Not only did he answer my questions but he took the time to show me how the products work and even gave me a few of his tips and tricks for applying flawless makeup. The guy is a freakin’ genius. I had so much fun!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping in at this store if you are looking for mineral makeup. The employees offer superior customer service, especially my new MAKEUP GURU GUY, and they make the experience fun!

Were you on the rag that day? I think the problem had to be with you and not the employee. I’ve worked in customer service too, and by the sound of your review, you are clearly a pain in the ass, bitchy customer/​person. Maybe you should get a job as a sanitation worker since you’re probably a shitty person… get it?

I am speechless! I have spent the last three months trying to find a good set of makeup. I am one of the many women who suffers with oxidizing skin (my oily skin darkens my face when makeup is applied and i look red and dark within an hour), and it sucked. I always thought that MAC makeup was as good as it was going to get, even though i hated how dark my face always got, even when I went a shade or two lighter on makeup.
My friends recommended this and told me to go to the one in the OAKS mall … SO GLAD I WAS RECOMMENDED! I was really scared to drop more money on even more makeup but I am glad i got the courage to try it. The girl who helped me was SO SWEET AND HELPFUL. I told her my oxidizing problem and she said it was no problem because what i needed was a yellower tone (which MAC does not have in Mineral Makeup) and she matched my skin PERFECTLY! She showed me how to apply everything with the brushes. I walked next door to Victoria’s Secret for 15 min because i was scared that it was going to darken … IT DID NOT! Ladies this is the holy grail of makeup! For the first time my face looked flawless and my neck didnt have a red line!!!

A++++++ for the girls here, they are sweet, great customer service, understand your needs and concerns, and just really know what they are doing and talking about!

The Mrs is very selective on her make-​up do to many allergies
Our daughter recommended this to her as the product she was using kept changing and he price was outrages so she gave it a try.
The sales folks were very accommodating and let her try the products before buying.
They did her make up in the store and then we went shopping in the mall for over an hour. She had no reaction, which she would normally in less than 10 minutes. We went back and purchased a starter kit and a few extra items and we were shocked at the price.
Every thing we bought was less than 1 item of her regular make-​up

Niki had me at foundation! Thanks to her I threw away all my cake-​up and now I own makeup. Love the effortless all day look of Hollywood beauty without looking like a walk of shame at the end of the day. Time to get the girlfriends to convert.

Yippee! I love it there. So pretty and so much fun. I was in and out pretty quick because I knew what I wanted.
Left out a star because salesgirl didn’t tell me anything that I might want to try. I love when they tell me about new stuff, now I feel like I don’t know… blah!
That being said the sales girl was friendly and fabulous, I am just a sucker for that up sell.

Always awesome. I have been a fan of and been a user of their products for many years – long before the secret got out, and they should probably be paying me at this point, because I am always telling everyone how awesome their stuff is. Seriously. Its great and makes your skin look amazing and isnt completely over the top expensive – AND! – and, their products actually do what they are meant to do, not just a bunch of hype.
Anything you buy will be well worth it.

the store set up is so clean and open… its so welcoming. the customer service is great… they let you play around with the makeup without giving you attitude (which is how a makeup store is supposed to be).
im a fan of the bare minerals foundation and recently got hooked to their buxom lip gloss. its plumping without burning (like too faced lip injection or duwops lip venom) and gives you a minty fresh feeling like you just brushed your teeth.

MY MECCA! I did some major power shopping in the evening.
My Sunday was supposed to be shopping in the late morning, early afternoon, dinner with dad and then wrap at night.
It ended up taking a turn when I had to monitor my dog after he got to a poinsetta plant.
So I didn’t get to the mall until 8 or so. I hit up Sephora for a Bare Escentuals gift kit for my cousin. Don’t get me wrong, I love Sephora, but when I walked upstairs and saw, a Bare Escentuals store, I dove right in beaming.
Even the sales associate was like, «WHOA», when she say my whole face brighten up.
They have everything, all the eye shadow colors, the blushes, etc. It was a truly awesome find! I’m beginning to become fond of this area. :D
