They have wonderful produce! We are from the area and my family lived mostly on all the yummy fresh produce they had. They were closed one year(and we sure missed them) but I found them again just past Ellensburg off of I90 at the Kittitas exit and under the freeway. They get local area produce too from local farmers. The photos shown are not of their fruit stand. They are open now again in Kittitas, Yeah!

Seriously, you can get anything here! I got a giant box of peaches that I could barely carry myself for less than $ 9! Hello peach jam, peach cobbler and canned peaches for winter! I also got some delicious corn and apples. They even serve espresso. This is definitely a must stop on my way back over the pass toward Seattle.

More than just a fruit stand, you can pretty much stock up the whole refrigerator here. The prices are really reasonable and dirt from the fields is still on most of the vegetables! Whenever we head out this way, I always ensure a cooler is in the vehicle on warmer days for the trip back home.

I am so happy to have discovered this produce stand! I was driving back home on I-90 on decided to stop at the Thorp fruit stand to see if it was better than the Yakima fruit stand and noticed a little green stand next door. The Gibson’s Produce stand. There are signs outside advertising that the produce is direct from the farmer to you(I can’t validate this claim, but it makes me feel good). What I do know is this. I have stopped here a couple of times and I am impressed with the ever changing supply of fresh produce at ridiculously affordable prices. I buy tomatillos here for 99 cents a pound, ancho chiles were 6 for a dollar, serrano chiles 20 for a dollar, and most apples are 99 cents to $ 1.29 a pound. A few weeks ago we bought a huge flat of the yummiest peaches I’ve ever eaten for $ 18. We filled 2 large grocery bags of produce today and spent $ 24. Just try getting that much fresh, tasty produce at that price at a grocery store in Seattle!
