This place is insanely good, and the staff are awesome as well. I’ve eaten from several pizza places in the general area and nothing even comes close to these guys. Their pizza is basically New York style — big slices, flavorful, and just the right amount of grease. The toppings are tasty as well, and since they use fresh ingredients you never feel like you’re eaten pre-frozen garbage like the major chains do. Even the little things like crumbled sausage instead of big fatty chunks other stores love to use make their food awesome. If you’re trying to avoid carbs, TGK also has some great options like their buffalo wings or Caesar salad — which, by the way you can order loaded with big pieces of «breaded» chicken. The quotes are because the breading is very thin and adds a little something to the chicken without turning them into deep fried chicken tenders. On top of all this, I went to the location a few weeks ago and my mother, who suffers from Celiac disease(gluten-free), and can be picky in general, was catered to above and beyond. They made her a specialty pizza, then made another because the owner said it didn’t come out right. They then made her a salad with oil since all the dressings at gluten in them. The owner approached us personally to ensure we were happy. We even heard the staff singing to the music on the speakers which tells me people actually like to work there, and that shows in the service and food. The only complaint I had the entire time is that the server failed to provide me with more than one thin napkin for the buffalo wings and I had to flag her down for a refill on my quickly-diminished water supply since she never really checked. Minor complaint though, because honestly she was awesome despite that. I’m not entirely sure if they have more than one location in my area but I assume this is the same store from GH. Either way, if you want some awesome pizza with killer service(and it’s pretty cheap) this is the only place you need to go for pizza and pasta. Everything else, especially those major chains, can suck it.

We’ve ordered take-out here quite a few times because it is easy and pretty darn inexpensive considering the portion sizes. Let me start by saying the pizza is not my favorite, the taste is fine but it’s soggy and limp. However, the pastas have all been amazing! The kids sizes are gigantic, so dad and I usually end up eating some of the kiddo’s and ours too. The wings are also tasty… not the best I’ve ever had, but tasty. Round it off with a salad(nothing spectacular, but the Greek dressing is quite good) and you’ve got a great meal for not a lot of money. Recently we fed 8 adults and 6 kids for $ 100 including delivery and tip. I thought that was very reasonable and we didn’t skimp on food at all.

If you’ve never had good pizza you might like this place. I got delivery and everything was courteous and smooth. However, the pizza just wasn’t good. Very soggy and greasy. When I picked the pizza up it just hung limp. I’m hoping this isn’t anywhere near the best that I can expect up in Thornton.

Being a big fan of pizza… I have high expectations when it comes to pizza. This place just didn’t meet those expectations from the very beginning. I called to place an order and was immediately placed on hold for 5 minutes, after waiting the person came back on the line and said. Hello and was about to take my order and then put me on hold again, I tried to explain I was just on hold for 5 minutes, but it didn’t seem to matter as the line clicked to hold. The person came back and asked if i was ready to order, and I said yes… Are we done with putting me on hold now? Apparently so, placed my order. And he said it would be good to go in 25 minutes. Cool! Pick up the pizza, good service on that end. And when we got the food I was a little put off by the hot wings. The sauce was on the bottom of the tray and only covered one side of the wings, like they just made some wings put them in a dish with sauce already in it and called it good. What? NOT how you make wings. The garlic knots were good, but I didn’t taste or see garlic it was just cheese, lots of it and bread. It was good, i guess. But not what I expected. The pizza had everything I asked for but the bottom was so doughy. No crisp, when you picked up the slice it sort of limped in your hand. It looked like they needed to keep it in the oven a bit longer. It was a good pizza, just nothing I would want to repeat. Things were also a bit expensive, so maybe look for a coupon or special if you head over.

I was skeptical about ordering but the pizza and wings I ordered were great! The medium is enough for 3 people and the wings were meaty. The delivery time was a bit long but eat24 gave me a heads up that it would be a while and I didn’t even care much as long as the food was hot

The Garlic Knot has been on my lunch rotation for over a year now and I recently realized I had yet to write a review. Needless to say I have visited countless times and even remember to check in a few times. So the pro tip here is their lunch specials are a steal! They don’t ever change which is a bummer but they are a wonderful value for what you get. They all consist of an entrée, a side and a drink from between $ 5-$ 7. I always get the stuffed slice, 5 garlic knots and a soda for $ 6.99. You can’t beat that. Not to mention the fact that the food is great, service is top notch and you leave full. Diner service has also done me well. I bring the family over from time to time and order a pie or two and they are alway excellent. The service is great and the place is clean. At dinner time the place can get busy so plan accordingly. They also deliver which I’ve never taken advantage of but keep it in mind if you’re drunk, lazy or embarrassed to go out. I think the only think I could knock them for is the music around the noon hour, sometimes it’s like boy bands gone wild or revenge of the 80’s. It always makes me laugh to say the least.

Horrible, dry, tasteless food. I’ve tried this place on 3 separate occasions and I have never had a satisfactory meal. My suggestion, if you must eat here, drink lots of wine.

I personally love this place. Especially considering it’s location. Thornton. Best pizza around North Thornton, by far. Great food. Great service. The«Grandma» pizza is where it’s at. Awesome salads. Amazing cheesecake. Keep it up guys!

The wings were undercooked. But the pizza is good. The cute little blonde was a great waitress but a lot one waiter only saw us two times the whole time we were there which was about 45 minuets.

Ordered pizza here for the first time last night and it was good! I wish I’d tried this place sooner so I wouldn’t have spent so much money on lousy pizza! The good news is it is so close. The bad news is I’m moving away so I won’t be able to order from there anymore. If you are sick of chain pizza… your salvation is here!

The garlic knots are delicious! Loved the calzones, so good with the ricotta cheese. NOT a fan of the marinara sauce. Delivery makes this place a big plus

The 3 of us met here in a good mood. The manager(?) was on the phone and did say he’d be right with us. Then he had to get the attention of some ditz to seat us. Train the ditz to answer the phone — monkeys can — and leave the manager to managing. First I ordered a Chardonnay — they were out — there’s a liquor store ½ block away — go get some! Then I ordered a milk stout, that helped. Had to ask the waiter about 3 times for everything — he said he was lazy and he was not kidding. What Colleen O said about the wait staff not giving a rot, and perhaps being stoned, yup, that’s what we thought too. And someone at another table got their order screwed up. Which may be why in September, the place was jumping, tonight — you could shoot a cannon in the place and not hit anyone. We ordered garlic knots next– they went down without a fight. I’ve had them all over the metro area — and these were to die from, not for. The Alphabet pizza — sausage, pepperoni, black olives, and extra cheese — as if! Overcooked, scanty ingredients and no cheese, not if you don’t count the burned stuff on top. We were too hungry to fight it. By the time we ate, we were all glad to get out of there. What happened? Eight months ago everything was good; tonight, the pizza sucked, the service sucked and if you’re out of the first request a customer makes, comp it — get with the restaurant program. Never again. Oh and the«New York» bs, the pizza was thin and burnt — is that why you all left NYC to come here. Go back to the city where dorks reign. Metro Denver — lots of great choices — Unilocal something better than this place — they won’t even notice.

Absolutely yummy calzones! Pizza — pretty darned good, too! We placed a carryout order for Saturday night for a gathering. We sampled a little of a *lot* of their goodies — two calzones(one was their three-cheese, one was a make your own with pepperoni and Canadian bacon), a crispy order of buffalo wings, those gooey chewy mozzarella garlic knots and a large Wall Street(pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese.) The big winner in our house was the three cheeze calzone. Just the right amount of cheeziness without being greasy, served with a heaping helping of garlicky marinara sauce. Also a win were the buffalo wings. Sauced just enough to have bite, not enough to make an enormous mess as we dived in around the coffee table. The pizza was good; it’s truly a New York style crust. Super thin, foldable, and a good flavor. However, the extra cheese may have been a bit too much, because it was also super greasy. I will say it reheated well the following Monday! However, with Abo’s as the gold standard still, it was close, but not quite better. Worth ordering, but I think my next order will be for calzones! The garlic knots were good; I think we overloaded on cheese because I found myself peeling the mozzarella off to enjoy the chewy goodness beneath. I’d definitely order them again, but without the mozz. Fair price for the amount of food we ordered. $ 50 with plenty of leftovers. Service at the restaurant was *very* friendly. I wish they had online ordering, but it wasn’t a big deal. The restaurant itself is HUGE, and in a great location near King Soopers on 120th and Colorado. They do have beer if you’re interested, too! A solid four stars, definitely one which will be put into our carryout rotation!
