The Mexican bread was standard so pretty good. However the stuffed churros and ham sandwiches were sorry. The churro had about a quarter of the filling it needed and the sand which was mostly bread with 3 pieces of diced ham and cream cheese. I can get mexican bread like this anywhere, so needless to say I wish I had my money back.:(

Went there for the first time this week. Absolutely the best Mexican pastries I ever tried. I am going back and taking five friends. We are coming from Sacramento. Carolyn Granados

New Bakery in Thornton, CA! It’s good for me… Thornton is directly on one of my Bike Routes Northward to Elk Grove or Sacramento. Now, I can consume some Carbs on my way to where-ever or on my way back from where-ever. I arrived in Thornton about 3pm… I purchased, today, two Jalapeño Cheese filled Bolillos(** ½) for a Buck each knowing probably that whatever was in the Pastry display case would be pretty dry at that time of day. And, yes, they were very dry and crusty… but I still liked the Cream Cheese with slices of Jalapeño Peppers. The Jalapeño Cheese Bolillo was a pretty good deal, but the plain Bolillos were quite expensive at $ 0.50 each. The interior of the Bakery, which has only been open for a month or so, is very spartan… with only a single four section Pastry Display case(not refrigerated). The majority of the interior is actually taken up by the Kitchen area. The Pastry Case was filled with Bolillos(filled and unfilled), Sweet Breads and some pretty big Mexican Cookies which looked very appetizing. But, I’ll probably be purchasing the Jalapeño Cheese Bolillos…
