I travel to this area often and this is convenient to the hotel. Have been here a couple times and service was lacking at best. I tried to eat there tonight but after being seated at bar table I waited for 10 minutes and no one even stopped by to great Meir take drink order so I left. Food has been good in past but I am done with this location. Go across street to Longhorn! Better food and they will serve you.

Uhm. I don’t think we will be back. There was only 2 other tables that had people at them so now so busy, we couldn’t even find a waitress or waiter in the restaurant so the Hostess stepped up and took our order, thank you Robin, so we order our food we get it and the sweet potato was so cold it couldn’t even melt butter, stake was tough and for the prices they charge here I think the food would be better. Was very disappointed don’t think we will be back.

We went there yesterday and trust me when I say this we will never go there again EVER. We were told wait time would be 15 mnts and since we did not see too many people waiting and few tables empty we accepted to wait. Our wait time was over half hour even though there were still tables that were empty but the ladies were debating which one of them should be the one cleaning them and taking their sweet ass time handing the task over to each other while hungry families were standing there watching this. When we finally got seated one of us did not have silverware and we were told they would be right back with it. We ordered the sampler for appetizers and oh my god the potato skins were burnt and so hard if they hit the floor they would shatter like glass. We never even got small plates to use for appetizers so we had to use napkins and hands. When we asked for the silverware the waiter had an attitude about it and since one of us needed a new set these were his exact words«what did you do with the set I gave you?» Really? That cheap? Not like We were going to steal their fancy silverware the whole thing was on the table. The food was disgusting, the drinks were flat. We ordered filet mignon and it was like eating a show or leather it was tough and had a disgusting taste. It took them ages to bring our food and in the end it was definitely not worth the wait. We witnessed a whole family who were actually seated before us walk out because their wait time had been over half hour for the food and they still didn’t have anything. I wish I could give this place zero stars but I’m forced to give them one they do not deserve this

I don’t think I need to reiterate what’s been said in previous reviews. We had the same bad experience as many of the others. Held hostage with kids for fifteen minutes after we were done eating. Empty drink cups whole meal etc.. . Pretty standard for a restaurant on the way out. I did notice that the steakhouse parking lot across the street was full :) Not a good reason to stop trying though. Will go across the street like every one else. If you run this place I’d write up the staff immediately and keep them on write up till they quit or improve. I will never eat there again much to the relief of the unresponsive wait staff. No tip Hostess literally told me that most people don’t eat steak until night. Then why be open? It was noon.. .

We ate in the location years ago but never again. The bread was awful compared to Outback and the prices for similar items at competitors were excessive! I see why Lonestar disappeared from the east coast. ALSOANEMPLOYEESMOKINGJUSTOUTSIDETHEDOORFILLEDTHERESTAURANTWITHSMOKESMELL!!!

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Waited an hour for our side salads with 3 other people in the place! Ordered a $ 20.99 steak medium rare and it came out well done and tough. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

The food was amazing but our waiter who never introduced himself was not my chopped steak was rare and I ordered medium well and he tried to tell me that’s what it was my response was I’m a chef I know the difference his response was would you like to cook it yourself hmmmm I held temper because I was with inlaws but by my look he grabbed the plate and had it fixed that’s unexceptable for a waiter to say I will be calling his manager

We stopped in here for a lunch meeting. I ordered a steak with a loaded sweet potato. Its delicious and on par with the other Lone Star Steakhouses. Good Customer Service and a good place for a business lunch.

Ordered Ribeye med well. Got a Ribeye well and tuff. The female manager checked on me and after I told her she said you can take it home. My bad should have read reviews first.

Wow. How is that for a start? I have never been to a Lone Star and i came because I get airline miles. But if i lived in Denver, this would be my regular place. I came in for lunch, with only like 10 other people in the place i knew service would be fast, but wow. Cindy my waitress was quick and friendly! Bread and beverage instantly. I ordered the 14oz peppercorn. It came out cooked perfect, with the side of green beans hot and crisp(some places have such soggy sides… not here) I had cheese cake for desert, probably frozen, but still pretty good. The only thing«off» was the side Caesar. It was cold. Everything even the croutons, like it was pre made and in a fridge. Still tasty, just wierd. If i am ever in the neighborhood I will be back!

Like others have said this is a chain, but a chain can do a great job; however, this is average and the steaks can sometimes be so so. There is a lot of competition going on in this area with new restaurants going in monthly across the street. I believe they need to step it up a notch. All in all ok, but probably will not go back again.

The staff was friendly and outgoing. I was going to order a sangria but wasn’t sure if I would like it my waitress told me if I didn’t like it she would make me a Nother drink at no extra cost… I went with Margarita! Good place

Just underwhelming overall. The meal did not justify the price tag. There are better chain steak restaurants close by.

First things first, we entered the restaurant at 430p on a Thursday. No hostess present, we waited 4 minutes for someone to come from the back to seat us. All the while being stared at by 2 other employees standing at the bar talking. Steeeerike one. When the words«steak house» are in your name, I expect a higher than average cut of meat and a chef or cook who knows how to properly season and prepare said cut of meat. I ordered the 6oz filet, mashed garlic potatoes, and green beans. They wrap the steak in bacon and should have been the first warning sign. The other person in our party ordered the same thing, but a baked potato, both cooked«medium». Steaks arrived, mine cooked properly, my friend’s medium well. I am a man and I damn well know a piece of bacon when I see it, bacon this was not! The steak was poorly seasoned, difficult to cut, and stringy. I buy better cuts at Costco! Steeeerike two. We saw our server three times during our dining experience. Once to take our order, once to bring the food, and once to bring the bill. When you are taking care of a total of four tables, I can certainly understand the lack of service. Steeeerike three. I will never return.

I don’t know why they have such a low rating. I went here early on a Friday evening and was quite happy. Ordered the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. Our server was friendly, attentive, and the food was amazing. This place is leaps and bounds ahead of that Australian themed joint down the road. Only negative was the French onion soup. The server told me it was quite salty but I took a chance. It was inedible for me, but our server checked on us quickly and brought out a baked potato soup when I expressed my displeasure. I will definitely be returning and I’d urge people to give this place a shot, especially as compared to the other steakhouses in the area. About average prices for a steakhouse.

Great food, great service and it all comes with a smile from your server and usually don’t have to wait. Orders are always correct, and you can’t beat the price. Much better than over paying for the same thing at another restaurant!

I decided to give this place a second chance after a less-than-rousing outing at this same location about a month ago. I’m originally from Florida, and there was a perfectly fine Lone Star in Clearwater which served juicy, flavorful steaks and fresh sides. For whatever reason, they closed down, and I thought LS in Florida was lost forever. I was happy to find this one near where I currently live in Thornton. My first visit was complicated only by a poorly spiced steak. It was cooked exactly the way I wanted, but it was underwhelming in flavor. The service was great, though. Our server was attentive and considerate. I tried LS again yesterday with my girlfriend, once more. Again, the service was great. We ordered potato skins, margaritas, filet mignon, and the bacon wrapped sirloin. Everything was properly made and well prepared. Minor complaint with the bacon: it was somewhat limp and too fatty. Nevertheless, they retained my being a customer with this visit.

We had an excellent lunch: fresh hot bread & plenty of butter; crisp, cold, salad; great steak & ribs and awesome blackberry iced tea — all delivered with good service.

I had a great experience at this place recently. My daughter and I dropped in late on a Tuesday night, we were greeted by a friendly person, seated immediately and our server was great. When the food arrived, I was very pleased with the presentation and I have the say the salmon was DELISH!!! My daughter had steak and she thought it was a little tough(it was slightly overcooked). That was really the best salmon I have had in a very long time and would absolutely go back for it.

Mediocre food and poor service. First a party of 11 was seated immediately upon walking in the door, after our party of 3(and 3 other parties of 2 – 4 people) had been waiting for 10 – 15 minutes. Second, we were not given bread. I realized when we left that every other table had Third, the spinach artichoke dip was dry and the chips greasy.(I usually love spinach artichoke dip) Fourth, the kids meal, which was obviously a frozen pizza, came out with the adult meals even though it had been ordered as soon as we sat down. Fifth, I did not receive a single refill on my ice tea. Sixth, my French dip was dry and the au jus tasteless. Finally, it took 10 – 15 minutes after we were done eating to be offered dessert and the check even though the server had walked by several times after we had finished eating.
