The receptionist was talking on the phone in spanish for half an hour to a client. She ignored me for half an hour making me late for my appointment. Then she said she lost the paperwork I emailed her which took me an hour to fill out. I do not recommend these jokers to anyone. Dr. Chisty lets the receptionist run the office and does not care what is going on.

This is not a healthy place for anyone. They do not respond to patients no matter if they are in severe need or not. Find somewhere else. Dr Chisty rushes patients and does not run the practice well. Not Happy Minds ignored minds.

I came c in as a new patient, got lost because he had his old address at the top of the paperwork. When ub arrived, I was told that he was out of the country.(India, I think) And the staff didn’t know when he was returning. I was not notified of this fact, and drove all the way from Brighton. There desk staff informed me that all of the staff had walked out on him a couple of days before. He was doing some appointments by. Skype, but not mine, since I was new. I had to wait a month for this appointment, and am disgusted with Dr. Khaja Chisty. I will NOT be returning to his office.

Generally to get into a psychiatrist, with or without insurance, there is a 4 — 6 week wait — minimum. I should have run away when I found out they could get me in the next day after I called. It is a «mill», not a group of people that care about their patients. I went three times, and then stopped. Appointments always ran really late — generally 30 — 40 minutes. They also had input my appointments into the system under the wrong doctor and wrong time! Again, thankfully I caught it, especially when I found out the time they booked for me nobody was even available! The process of speaking to an intake person, then sitting again, then having to repeat everything for the Dr. is a waste of time. It became apparent to me on my second and third visits that the records kept were completely incorrect — both the intake person and Dr. had written things down I had not even said and that were not close to what I said. The lack of attention to detail is horrific. The billing is also horrible. I called multiple times to get my bill over the course of 3 months with no response. I finally got a bill almost 6 months after my last visit, with a note if I did not pay immediately it would go to collections. Interesting, since it was the FIRST bill I ever got from them. And, given their delay in billing I could not use my FSA to pay for the amount I owed because I was now in a new plan year and the expenses were no longer eligible to be covered because they fell into the last plan year. I did not see Dr. Chisty, but another doctor at the site. Overall, I did like him, but given the lax record keeping and billing issues I decided to stop going altogether. Thankfully I am in a situation that I did not really need their services. I do feel bad for others that have no choice as this is not a well run or patient centered practice.

This place is awful. I’m here for my second visit right now. I’ve been sitting in the waiting room waiting to go in for my appointment and it’s now 40 minutes after my original appointment time. This place is run down, extremely unprofessional and I will never come back here after today. This place should be shut down.

I never write reviews but I must tell people to stay away from this place of business. The front employees are beyond incompetent. They have no idea how to bill correctly. They office is a disaster with walls missing and doors unhinged. I always wait at least 40 minutes. Dr. Chisty is ok but rushes you. I will not be returning.

This place is horrible! The building is run down and moldy and even with an appointment, I spent a half an hour in the lobby waiting. To top it off, Dr. Chisty cut me off every time I started a sentence and did not seem to care about the side effects I was experiencing from medication. When I complained about a medication, he insulted and laughed at me. Don’t waste your money on an apathetic doctor. Go somewhere else.

This place was not what I expected. Their office looks old and run down. The service up front at reception is very short and not friendly at all. I would look else where.
