The Reserve At Thunder Hill Golf Course

This course is like none you’ve ever play this was a fish hatchery converted into a 4 star golf course well maybe 3.5 stars but I will throw in the other half for it’s unique location and transformation. It’s a course everyone should play at least once. I’m just going to list the good and bad.
Pros:
— Great facility club house and pro shop excellent.
— They was a real steak here on site «Sammy’s (don’t know if it survived)
— Great equipment
— Course has always been well maintained
— Extremely scenic it’s a isolated piece of paradise.
— Great Fairways and wonderful greens (no lack of water here)
— Great staff always willing to take it to the next level well managed
— Really challenging and you will get addicted
— Great pace of play
Cons:
— Lots and I mean lots of water I want to add another lots to that
— If you play from the tips which is a blast there are holes that you will need to drive across three lakes to reach the fairway it can be very intimidating I like it but most don’t.
— This course is full of impossible teasing if you fall for it you will get punished beyond belief and lose many many balls (that is why some hate it)
— Very little rewards for all the risk.
— If you lose sight of your ball from either going left or right it’s mostly likely gone forever and in a lake.
— A lousy day equals a terrible score you must be able to hit the ball straight off the tee and you need a good solid second shot.
Okay okay don’t let me scare you it’s a must play just keep your wits and don’t get frustrated early. I’ve always had fun even when the Golf Gods left me to fend for myself.
