Shady. I have not used this company before, but after my initial experience with them, I never will. Ignoring my clear ‘No Soliciting’ signs, they trespassed on my property just to stick one of their business cards in my front door.

Make sure you only talk to ONE person when getting a quote on Triad Tree Trimmers’ service. They were working in a neighbor’s yard and approached me about possibly cutting some limbs on a huge oak tree in my yard. I told them I could use someone to especially cut some limbs that were touching my house. I got the quote and agreed to it and they sent ANOTHER person up to get the info. When they came to my house to do the service, they called(I was not at home at the time) to tell me that what I was told by the FIRST person I talked to and what was agreed upon by the SECOND person at their company was two different things. They told me they would have to charge me $ 150MORE to do what I agreed upon with the FIRST person I talked to. I reluctantly agreed to this. All of the people said the wood would be hauled away in the company pickup. I received another call when they had finished asking me if they could leave SOME of the wood on the curbside as it would not fit into their pickup. I explained that it would HAVE to be cut into 3 foot sections in order for the city to pick it up. When I arrived home that night, there were 10 – 12 ft sections on limbs on my curb. The city was picking up waste the next day and they left a note on my door saying I would be charged a $ 125 fine by the city if the wood was still there the next week. They refused to pick it up as it was. I called Triad Tree Trimmers and they said they would pick it up the next day. This did not happen and it took three more calls to get them to come out and pick it up. I basically had to threaten to pass the fine on to them if I received one from the city(High Point, NC). Meanwhile, the branches that I originally wanted cut because they were touching the house, are still touching the house. I would suggest if you do business with this company, only talk to ONE person and get the quote with a picture(drawing or photo) of the tree they will be working on and get them to specifically tell you the full price and explanation of what you expect to be done. This was my first time dealing with a local tree company and I will definitely know better next time.
