While the burgers are good, I have to say I am disappointed that Jax Burger has removed the kids menu from their menu. Having three kids, this once made it convenient to eat here. I will come back, but it will be a lot less frequent. For this I give them 2 stars rather than 5. Went from a favorite place to a not so favorite. :(

Closest you will find to an In and Out double double is the Baja without the jalapeños. Best burger I’ve had here in Texas.

This is the real deal! I’m so full! The service awesome and they make you feel important. I had the guac burger and jax fries with a Pepsi

Expensive but very good. The only reason I didn’t issue them five stars is because I have a personal policy that a place must duplicate their awesomeness. I expect to raise this raining if I ever make it out to this part of town again.

I was in the mood for a burger, and saw the great reviews, so gave this place a try. Food was pretty good, but service was excellent given the circumstances. When I walked in, no one was in line, but the guy at the counter was stuck taking a huge phone order, so I waited. And waited some more. By the time he finished, there was a line behind me. I ordered cheeseburger and Cajun fries to go, and the guy comped me a drink since I had to wait. Thanks! So I sat down to wait for my order. And waited. And waited. They were short staffed because there was only the one or two people in the kitchen, and the one guy taking orders, delivering orders, AND clearing tables, so at least the delay wasn’t from idle employees. Twenty minutes later, I finally got my order. The guy felt so bad that I had to wait that he gave me a completed loyalty card, for a free burger next time. Nice! The burger itself was ok, slightly underseasoned, and the fries were slightly hard rather than crispy. But since I have a free burger and work nearby, I’ll be back!

I read the reviews and definitely wanted to try this place. We were greeted by a young man and young woman when we walked in. The service was great with the guy describing the burgers and different types of fries and that helped us order a Shroom burger and a Guac burger(which I had them add bacon to) and an order of cajun fries to split between my fiancé and I. The service was excellent, didn’t match the poor service I read, maybe they have changed staff? This was around 5 pm on a Wednesday by the way. The burgers and fries were all delicious, best burger I’ve had in a while. We will definitely be back. The place is a little pricey but I think it’s worth it! Delicious! :) Oh, and the chocolate malt was also very good!

Gave them a rare 5 star for one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever ate! If it is not the best it is definitely top 3. I had the bacon cheeseburger and Cajun fries. Both were great and we all spilt a couple of Chocolate malts to wash it down. The malts are made to order and were also top notch. If you like to find good burger joints, this one is a must!

We walked in and noticed right away how warm it was inside. It’s 100 degrees outside in August. For Petes sake, turn the AC down a bit so your customers are comfortable! But anyway, we approached the counter to order. The two girls working at the counter did not greet us and just sat there and stared at us with this annoyed look on their faces. They said nothing to me the whole time except to tell me what the total was. No, thank you’s, no, your order will be out shortly… Nothing! The food was good but expensive for what it was. Beware, the burgers are huge! It would have been nice not to have beads of sweat on my forehead while I ate. I took a picture of the girls at the counter. You can see they are super happy to be at work! We won’t be returning due to sweating inside while we ate and terrible customer service. You would think management would read all the reviews about the two girls who work here and fire them! Yikes!

I’ve been here three or four times. I have had the guacamole burger and the mushroom burger. Both were absolutely delicious. If you are counting calories, this is your ONE meal for the day. Then again, if you are counting calories, your probably not reading this review since they don’t have tofu burgers. I agree with other reviewers about the fries. They are average at best and could use something more to make them as good as the burgers. I will go back, just not too often since I AM counting calories. On a different note, I have seen other reviews of people complaining about the customer service. Remember, this is a BURGER place that employs relatively young people. This is not a Zaget rated restaurant. With that, I have never had an employee that was flat out rude to me when I have been there. They say hello, fix my order correctly, bring it to me at my table, and took my tray when I was done. The food is hot and taste delicious. In my book, that’s pretty good for a non-Zagat rated BURGER place. If you found this review useful, cool, funny or sarcastic, please let me know below. If you didn’t, you should read it again.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Staff was very unfriendly, to the point of just looking at me with an unamused stare, when i walked up to order. I ordered a kids meal, and upgraded the burger to the bblt. It was surprisingly around $ 9. She also forgot to give me the drink cup, so i had to go back and ask for it. The food took a while to come out. The lids for the cups were poorly stacked on the counter, with no container or box or anything. Gross. They could at least get a legitimate lid dispenser before charging $ 9 for a kids meal. The only reason i upgraded my review to 3 stars was because the food was hot and delicious. Otherwise, i wouldn’t return. I would recommend if service was better.

Tonight my family and I decided to try something new. We were immediately greeted by the most personable manager Rich. It was such a great experience and the best meal we have had since moving to the Woodlands. They were the most outstanding burgers. The manager recommended the guac burger with grilled jalapeños. My husband ordered it and he swears it was the best burger he has ever eaten. Our 3 daughters has so much fun and enjoyed their dinner. Thank you Rich for the best meal experience we have ever had. We will be back ASAP!!!

This is our 3rd visit, we had one bad visit not because of the food but an employee! They’ve made up for this and the food is AMAZING! I am addicted to it… I get the BBLT with garlic fries and you’d never believe how amazing the burger is! If you’re in the mood for a burger or not, give these guys a try… You’ll be addicted as well!

This was my first visit to this location. The one on Old Town Spring is awesome and the staff there is really friendly. Unfortunately the staff at 1:00 pm didn’t find the need to speak. There were two girls at the counter when we walked in and neither greeted us or even smiled, the entire time we were there.(Not to us anyway, they laughed with each other). The food was good. I had the chicken sandwich and added avocado slices. However I only got one small slice, the rest appeared to be the guacamole. The sweet potato fries were nice and hot, which is the only way to eat fries. Now that we know this location is here, we may be stopping in on Sundays since it’s right up the road from our church. I’m just hoping the staff is friendlier on my next visit.

My coworkers and I come here for lunch every once in a while, and we’ve learned the trick to getting a delicious but affordable meal is to order their kid’s meal. They tack on an extra $ 2-$ 3, but you get a quarter pounder fresh hamburger/cheeseburger with a decent amount of fries and fountain drink for about $ 5. I mean, really, that’s a great deal, and so much more delicious and fresh than the fast food options close by! When I went, I got the chicken strip(tender?) kid’s meal which came with 2 large strips, fries and a soda. It was fresh, piping hot and pretty tasty for $ 4-$ 5! I would definitely come back again!

That was good! Any burger I can add blue cheese and jalapeños to is usually going to be a good burger. Good patty just like mom used to make. Fresh crispy fries. I’d definitely come back. I’ll have to try a shake next time!

First off, this place is very clean, nearly immaculate. And it’s very open and bright. When we were looking over the menu, the cashier took the time to walk us through it and explain some of the highlights. I ended up with a guac burger and my son ordered the little jax burger. In less than 10 minutes we had fresh, cooked to order burgers. My burger was big, meaty, and juicy. It had the perfect meat to bun ratio, and it wasn’t over powered with toppings. The burger was seasoned very nicely as well. My only complaint was that it was very messy, but I thoroughly enjoyed my burger. My son also loved his burger, and fries were also very delish. For the two of us, it cost a little over $ 17. But the quality of product and customer service were both excellent, so it was well worth it. Nice job guys! We will definitely return.

If you like thick meaty over cooked greasy burgers on a thick bun than this is your place. All the burgers are pretty much the same except they have different add ons, i.e. Mushrooms, chili, BBQ sauce, etc. I’ve heard so many people raving about this place, and I left there unimpressed. The best thing I had there was their strawberry milkshake. I won’t be returning here when there are way better burger options around the area.
