A-1 Taxi

I’m a regular local customer and I’ll be honest the average wait time is an hour. even though their eta might have been 20 – 30 minutes.

Mykol (sounds like Michael) from A-​1 Taxi came up to us in the parking lot at Avis in Texas City after we’d already loaded all of our bags in a competing taxi company and insisted A-​1 is the only company licensed in the entire cointy and that we had fo take an A-​1 taxi or he was going to call the cops on any other taxi that picked us up. His car wasn’t even big enough to hold all of us let alone all of our luggage and he assured us that he had another taxi near by that could take the other half of our group and they’d be there shortly. After 15 minutes the second taxi still hadn’t showed up and he just kept saying the other taxi would be there soon, but it still took another 10 minutes before they actually showed up. One we got on the road things were fine, but the entire time leading up to it was extremely frustrating and angering because he made us late for our boarding time on the cruise.
