IHOP

We just left. The food was good but the highlight was our server Gabriel. He was very nice and more attentive to us than previous trips I have made there. He told us the special smiled and was very patient with my indecisive children. I left him all the cash I had on the table added extra to the tip when I paid at the door and still felt as though I didn’t give enough for the excellent service we received. Makes me smile to see such good customer service. You are awesome Gabriel. I will definitely return!

As a typical ihop, except they don’t want to give you exactly what you ordered and then try lying to you about why they can’t and then after you complain they bring you your original order. Two stars because the food was good; the service horrendous.

I love ihop. I just don’t know how anyone could not love ihop. It is a house. of pancakes. Like the entire house is made of pancakes. JK.
This particular location the servers are nice and yesterday I saw the manager really taking care of the cleanliness of the location and that left a good impression on me.
The food tends to be a little on the salty side but that’s just me. Sweet things also be on the sweeter side, but many of us don’t have a problem with that.
I personally like their loaded country potato soup and Swedish crepes. Those crepes! Too much sweet stuff on it but the crepes themselves, are glorious. Or about as glorious as it gets at a chain restaurant.
I did have one minor qualm yesterday. They brought my soup with the crepes, so the crepes got cold while I was eating my soup. Eh, I’ll survive.

I ordered a strawberry lemonade and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. I commend the waitress for making me a drink that is not on the menu. I’ve been waiting 15 minutes for this bowl of soup. I will be patient until the people next to me get their order before me… the soup was just brought to me. The soup is luke warm but edible. I feel like I’m being treated like this because my order is less than $ 5.

I usually get a stack of pancakes, but decided to try something new. I got the French Toast and think I’ve found a new favorite at iHop.
