This Taiwanese hair salon is great! My son gets hair cuts here for only $ 9 and the wait isn’t too long on the weekend. The barbers are quick and professional.

I’ve been to this hair salon every month for a couple of years now, and I just want to write a review to give it some prop. First of all, the price here is insanely low. I can get a haircut for just $ 9, and I don’t think many other salons would be cheaper. But you think a cheap haircut would mean a lousy result, but that’s not the case. The hairdressers over there would listen to what you want your hair style to be, and most of the time they would be able to give you what you want. I’ve been to other salons that charged over $ 30 and they don’t usually do a better job than Angel Hair Salon, and I had a few experiences when I paid $ 25 and walked out looking like a bad hair day. The bottom line is that, for the price they charged and the services they provided, Angel Hair Salon more than deserves 4 stars from me. I heartily recommend it if you are looking for a nice alternative to other, more expensive salons.

This place blows! BIGTIME! I think the stylist is dirty and needs to throw out brushes that are bent out of shape, where is the comb sanitizer? WE all have our preferences and what we choose to do in our lives and it is definitely not a hairdressers’ place to say what is right or wrong! I’m DONE, never going there ever ever again! Giving the place a one star is being kind!

I came here after my friends insisit that I do my hair coloring here. First look of it when I first went in was your typical Asian salon, service was ok they don’t understand you if you didn’t speak Chinese. I left my hair grow out for 2yrs and wanted it to be long and told the person doing my hair that I wanted my hair kept long and that I only wanted to trim the top layers she charged me 20 $ for a 5 min trim… And 60 $ for hair coloring which didn’t turn out the color I wanted which was blond-ish brown. Insteadvit came out still black with some orange red color on top of my head. She guaranteed that it would turn out the color I wanted and in the end she said it was my hair color fault. seriously I don’t think they know what they were doing. Now my hair is damaged and have to wait one more yr so my hair can be healed. Such a waste of money :’(

I’ve been coming here for quite some time now and the hair salonist never fails to impress me. Although I always get my hair layered and thinned out and my bangs offset to the side and trimmed(side bangs), she knows how much to trim to match the shape and length of my face, perfectly. In addition, the hair salonist is very flexible in styles. Like I said, I’ve always had the same style for quite some time now(from the fourth grade till my freshman year in college) and when I spontaneously wanted a short do, the hair salonist did an amazing job. I’ve got numerous of compliments from both family and friends. The one thing I loved about the long bob that I got was the fact that it made me look more mature. My long hair made me look like a high schooler and I wanted to stray away from that and the hair salonist did just that. I am extremely satisfied with what she’s did with my hair. Thank you, May.

I’m writing this review on my mom’s behalf. She goes here weekly to have her hair done, so that already says it all. =P

I have been cutting my own hair since high school but I feel that my sense of style is not working anymore, perhaps I am getting older lol and perhaps I look like a young adult in college. I checked out this Chinese salon that usually caters to those who only speak mandarin but luckily I went with my mom. I told the lady to do whatever she wants with my hair; preferably the most recent style. She gladly cut my hair according to the shape of my face and with the current trends. She even offered to wash and massage my head with no costs. In the end my hair was cut meticulously for …$ 6!!! That is unheard of. The service is great and the place isn’t that bad too. It’s In downtown Temple city next to Golden Deli :). So if your willing to experiment and get a good quality and cheap haircut come to Angel Salon. Be sure to bring cash and someone who can speak mandarin.
