Return policy is misleading. I attached a copy of their return policy which makes you think that returns can be made up into January. Unfortunately they only give store credit or exchange unless it’s in the first 14 days. We missed the 14 days by 1 business day. They wouldn’t make an exception even after we specifically asked and had them call. Super disappointed considering i haven’t had a return problem with ANY store for a long time(and I’m pretty forgiving as you can see from most of my reviews.) if they change I’ll update the review.

Was visiting my sister in AZ for her graduation. What pair of sisters would we be if we didn’t spend a lot of time together, shopping? So we went to the Tempe Marketplace & walked around. I usually don’t like to shop at Wet Seal but sometimes they have pretty good deals on some decent quality clothes and accessories. This store in particular wasn’t that cool. Not much selection and the store was kind of messy. Not that big of a deal since it IS a retail store with a bunch of sales going on. We checked out a clearance section where there was a sign that said all their swimsuits were $ 2. Yes, $ 2 swimsuits! Sweet deal right? My sister picked two up and I picked one up along with a cute clutch(that wasn’t on sale). Their clearance section also had a sign that said«buy one, get one for a penny» — which I didn’t notice until I was at the register. My sister got rung up first — both swimsuits for $ 2/each but didn’t get offered to get another item for a penny. I was getting rung up at the same time as her. My swimsuit didn’t have a tag on it so the girl helping me had to find another suit just to use the tag. She came back and told me about the other promotion for another clearance item for a penny so I went to see if I’d find something. I did, and when I came back she told me the total of my purchase — which was higher than I thought it would be. I asked about the swimsuit and she said it was $ 9.99. I looked at my sister and said aloud, I thought they were all $ 2? I’m pretty sure the girl heard me but she didn’t say anything. Yeah, 10 bucks for a swimsuit is still a great deal, but what’s up with the staff lying to their customers? I’ve had my share of retail experience and I was not impressed with their customer service, or lack thereof. I checked my receipt when we walked out and that additional clearance item that was supposed to only be a penny, was actually $ 2.50. Another cheap item that I wouldn’t have minded spending a few dollars on, but again… what’s up with the staff lying to their customers and just trying to hustle any way they can? *Edit(after looking through all of my purchase): Another note — the security things beeped on our way out. The girl left a sensor on the wallet I bought so I went back to have it taken off. I just checked my bag and the other wallet I got has a freakin’ sensor on it! Wish there was an option to not give any stars on here.
