Serve by a guy name Brent?. Rude. Almost ran into when he wasn’t looking and all he said was oops. Just looked at me when I was waiting at the register and only said hi. Didn’t say«what can I get you» or «we’ll be with you in a second». I guess Starbucks customer services is only good at some locations.(5 mins after writing this review) …he got my order wrong.(1 min later) found out he purposely made my order wrong because he Only has a little left of what I wanted to order. –_– seriously.

Super friendly staff and my drink was really yummy until I took off the lid to find a ton of coffee grounds at the bottom

The kids that work at this location are great and always friendly. The place becomes absolutely unbearable at certain parts of the day because of the huge number of homeless /street people who loiter inside and out. The outside seating area is usually jam-packed with street kids and their dogs who hang out there despite the fact that they aren’t patronizing the Starbucks. It is very common to walk inside and see 3 – 4 people charging their cell phones and using the free wifi… also without buying anything. I get the sympathy aspect for these people but, at some point, management is going to have to start cleaning this up.

Clean, nice outlay, beautiful exterior. Partners were great and friendly. Drink tasted delicious. Bathrooms were tidy and well stocked. I only wish that the music was down a little considering the amount of studying students. Also, this location really needs more seating. There are not nearly enough seats for the amount of traffic in this store.

If I could give a 0 I would. I had 2 hours to kill before going to the ASPCA benefit and decided to go to Starbucks for coffee and breakfast. Upon entering, I noticed the café was packed. After receiving my food and drink I looked for a table that had electricity and that’s when I noticed the place was filled with street people and homeless. Of the 14 tables(all full) only ONEPERSON had a Starbucks drink. The street people and homeless were loud and rude. I sat at a table in the open area to watch what was happening. Five times I was asked for money or cigarettes; one person tried to grab my drink, another called me «Cunt» when I wouldn’t give him money. I witnessed one street person attempt to steal a call phone from another street person. I grabbed my belongings and went to the restroom which was disgusting; filled with shaved hair, needles, and medical bandages. After 20 minutes I felt I was in danger of being robbed or attacked so I left. It’s unbelievable that they have no security and that they let the street people and homeless run this place. This is absolutely the worst Starbucks ever.

Legit! I live by the Roastery so have become a bit of a coffee snob. They made me an iced Kenya pour over here even though it wasn’t on the menu. Barista Justin was awesome in asking me how I liked it and even shook it with an orange slice for me.

This place is way busy but I find that it’s a good place to go if you want to chill for a bit while you are on Mill ave. They have your usual Starbucks drinks and staff and other amenities. But if you don’t want crowded, you may want to avoid this place. There’s a lot of people from the bars, ASU and random people that come in especially at night. But hey, this is the only Starbucks and when you got to have that coffee, you gotta have it. haha!

have been here several times… It’s a Starbucks and it is on Mill Ave. Keeping that in mind, it will probably be a little busy and you’ll probably see a lot of college students. My most recent visit was on Sunday morning since I had 20 minutes before I had to get on the bus. I ordered a fizzio spiced root beer… and yum. Great soda, however the price tag of almost $ 3 for a small soda knocks a star off. Seriously Starbucks… you’re overpriced.

I had Iced Coffe with Cream for $ 2.65 i guess. It was open on the Sunday Morning. It has nice seating area with free wifi. It has friendly staff with smile. Busy in their chores and smiling and nice environment. We had gone to Tempe Beach Park and came here to grab coffee and is closeby from there to walk. Downtown Mill Avenue is good to walk at too. Me and my friend had nice chat at the table, enjoying our coffee and discussing places to head on a Fine Sunday.

While coffee is decent as Starbucks can be. The help has attitude. The place was burning up hot inside and when I asked if they had a/c I was told rudely by the barista«I burn up every shift. » putting a much more sour taste than the coffee in my mouth.

This is a very unique Starbucks location, and a lot of fun to be at. There is a very diverse crowd there, the layout has more seating than most locations(inside and out), and the feel is very comfortable and interesting. The only issue I have is that the lines are huge there and the way the counter is situated it created a big, awkward bottleneck where you pick up the drinks. If you can deal with that, though, it’s a fun place!

This location suffers and benefits from the fact that it is located on Mill Ave. I am sure they appreciate the foot traffic from all the students and office workers but there biggest challenge is the homeless people that crowd the outdoor seating and on cold days interior seating with their dogs and backpacks. When we asked on cashier if dogs were allowed inside she side only service dogs. We have to assume they use the most liberal interpretation of the term service dog or are not willing to confront folks who bring dogs into the restaurant. Overall it in not the cleanest place.

Speedy service, great beverages and super friendly staff. I come here almost every day and I’ve never been disappointed. I looove the ham and cheese breakfast sandwich, the everything bagel and the caesar salad. The Tazo teas are delicious both iced and hot, and I love the coffee as well. One thing I might add is that I didn’t particularly care for the cheese croissant because it was too sweet for me, but I’ve loved everything else. :)

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever gone to. They finally got rid of the disgusting couches that were a hang out spot for homeless people, but there is still a seedy crowd that hangs out around the store. The tables are always dirty, there are crumbs and litter all over the floor, the bathroom was gross… I wish it was enjoyable, because the location would be great for studying. I didn’t notice it being any quicker than any other Starbucks. I avoid this store from now on.

I came here with my girlfriend before a night on the town. The clerk acted like a jerk the whole time we were ordering, asking questions with a put-off tone and eventually over charged us for our drinks. Not only that, but both the drip coffees were clearly old, burnt and disgusting. After receiving our drinks and taking the first sip, both the baristas started to laugh. What was wrong with the coffee besides the burnt taste is beyond me but it was a joke I didn’t find funny.

Nice, big Starbuck’s near ASU. Service appears faster than an average Starbuck’s and there’s an amazing amount of seating. Nice job on this location!

This location is big, clean, and really nice. The staff isn’t very friendly, and they were kinda slow too. But they do have city and state mugs if you’re a collector like me!

yay, im a fan. Of course it’s starbucks, but this one is good. They’re quick and pretty friendly. Not overly strange barista types. At night it can be a good place to get some work done as it is decently empty at night. The crowd comes in at lunch and late morning. Early or late enough and you’ll have a free spot to get a cup. I’d tell you what I had, but it’s starbucks, if you don’t know what to order… it’s 2012.

The one thing @Starbucks excels at is providing a comfortable environment to just«hang out». Free WiFi, usually ample power outlets, air conditioned, comfy seating, and all the free water you can drink. For these reasons I still go. And I am grateful.
