I’ve gone here since 2012 and always been happy with the cuts.
The employees always take care to style your hair the way you want; and all the employees are extremely nice and courteous.
The manager Monica* is extremely good at styling hair!
Serenity is definitely WELL worth the price!

The haircut itself is decent for $ 16, but this is basically a glorified Supercuts. The last two times I was there the customer service was just downright bad. The first time, my stylist said «hello» and that was it for the entire hair cut. Not one word after that. Maybe some people don’t like the small talk during a hair cut, but I expect at least a «how’s your day going,» «how do you like ASU?» At least slightly attempt conversation. The last time I got a hair cut there (about 10 minutes ago) my stylist was a bit more talkative… except she was talking to everyone besides me. She was in constant conversation with one of the other stylists about who goes to her gym and was looking at pictures on one of the other stylist’s phone WHILE she was giving me a hair cut. I mean… really? Is it that tough to at least attempt to give decent customer service? My hair looks decent, nothing great, but I’d rather just go to Grooming Humans on Forest Ave. for about $ 10 more if you want a great hair cut. They’ll give you a much more detailed cut and they are extremely nice there. No I don’t work there, I just really enjoy their hair cuts.
