Liquor Express

This place rocks! Always has a great selection always keeps the Facebook up to date on new beers. I would recommend this place for anyone who loves craft beer.

Good selection, but prices are generally a bit high on hard alcohol. The growler fill ups are a great deal, though, and they often have random labels on special for steep discounts.
The staff is really nice, and seems to remember you from visit to visit. They even keep my room mate’s favorite beer in the cooler, when it’s typically kept on the floor, which is really kind of them.

This is the best place to get craft beer in Tempe. They always have amazing beers for their growler fills and have amazing costumer service. Could not recommend it highly enough.

I was actually pleasantly surprised coming into the store, they have a big selection of liquor. It looks so small on the outside I had just assumed it was just a little nondescript liquor store carrying all domestics. Not that there’s anything wrong with that (read that in Seinfeld’s voice). They were able to hold for me two cases of Ballast Point Victory at Sea and I was so grateful because that beer can be hard to come by. They also had weird muchie items like hot pockets, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches sold individually, cheap burritos, frozen pizzas, ice cream, pickles, well you get the idea: drunk food. It is also a little market with the usual small convenience store items like food and home supply goods. The service was super friendly and respectful, I would definitely return.

This is the last place I would expect to have a killer craft beer selection, but it certainly does. They also have a Facebook page where they post new shipments and hosted events. 2 thumbs up.

Wonderful establishment with a great selection of beers. I was on a mission to find some rare beers, and Kyle helped me to fulfill this mission with flying colors. If I lived in Arizona, I would be giving you much more business. Very personable and knowledgeable.

The only place you can go in Tempe for great service and phenomenal craft beer selections. Kyle is the man!

Five stars, We drove from pretty far and were not disappointed. Great growler selection, great prices, friendly and helpful staff, what more can I say? We also picked up a mix and match 6 pack and they gave us 8 for $ 6.99. Sort of a sketchy location but I will be back.

I found their ad in the New Times offering a pick 8 pack for $ 6.99 (it’s usually pick 6 for $ 9.99) and decided to drive over to check it out. The signs on the windows advertising a large selection of craft beer got me excited and I wasn’t disappointed. With the ad I got 8 specialty beers (including some pumpkin beers which I’m a fiend for) for $ 7.57 out the door. The man who runs the store was very helpful and friendly. I’ll definitely be back!

Wow what can I say??? This place has been the landmark of my college liquor stores. Pleasant staff, great deals, and a growler station. If you go to ASU and do not go to liquor express I feel bad for you, by far my favorite spot in Tempe!

Yes. Tempe has many liquor stores. This is one of my top five. They have the everthing but one thing that keeps me going back is the BEER (bootle, can, growler and exclusive). I found it on mistake and pretty much welcome with open arms lol. The team is helpful and the owner knows his stuff. Find them on Facebook and they keep you updated on specials and the NEW stuff. Very reasonable prices and very great customer service.

Today is Thanksgiving Day and not only am I thankful for Unilocal,but I’m thankful for this liquor store! Their selection of craft beer here is nothing short of amazing! Being from So. Cal we are spoiled with great beer and it’s hard to find craft beer when you’re in other states. THIS place had EVERYTHING! From Stouts to Porters to IPAs they got it! They even have beers on tap! Tomorrow only they’ll be doing 50% off growler refills! Kyle was really friendly, helpful, and he knew his beers! Love that they have a mix n match 6 pack for $ 9.99! They carry Stone Brewing Co. as well! I’ll be back here before I leave back to Cali to bring back beers we don’t get! Cheers!

So I’ve been here several times… Never really looked at their beer selection until today and I was impressed. The owner is still improving his selection. The prices are pretty good too! I’ll be back a lot.

I always try to shop locally but I have given up on this store entirely. This one individual, older man, skinny ALWAYS charges you wrong or gives you wrong change OR overcharges on the taxes he creates and you always end up spending more than expected. The guy acts like he doesn’t know but he knows exactly what he’s doing.

A great liquor store that is right by my place. I am literally in there every single day either getting some booze or cigarettes. The staff is very friendly and they are dependable.
Additionally, the sell turkey sub sandwiches for $ 1.99 and they are actually really good! They are made fresh daily and taste great for lunch at work or if you are in a pinch.
They also have a large selection of beer that you wouldn’t expect from a place like this. On first glance it appears to be more of a convenience store but they are stocked with a cavalcade of craft beers from Stone Brewing and Nimbus as well as a bunch of other brands I can’t think of right now.
If marijuana is your predilection they also sell pipes and accessories at incredibly affordable prices, better than most smoke shops in the area. They do sell crack pipes which is probably my only complaint simply because meth and crack are so devastating to both users and their families. However, I can’t blame them for selling a product that has a market

This is a great corner store. It used to be a little seedier, with bums hanging around and the cashier behind plexiglass, but since they remodeled last summer it’s really come into its own. They now have a more complete grocery isle, and hotdogs and slurpees.
Liquor Express is family owned, with great staff and a surprisingly diverse beer, wine, and spirit collection. There are very few corner liquor stores where you can pick up a 30 rack of PBR and a 1996 vintage Dom Perignon.

Just came across a stash of Rehab drinks! Don’t get too excited, i got all they had — 9 cans: D
Nice employees, had whipped cream which I also needed. This is a good corner store.
