I love smoking my hookah @ ALMAZA, every time I’m in Phoenix I make my way to Tempe to enjoy good quality — long lasting delicious hookah, and to see old friends.
5 stars for the service and relaxing atmosphere!!!

I seriously don’t know why this place is rated with 5stars. Its wack. Me and my homegirls went here and took a while for someone (I’m guessing the owner) to come out from wherever and seat us. After that we waited to order for like 10min, we knew what we wanted and ordered and when he came he was on his phone while taking out order?.. Rude. We ordered 2grape mints… Didn’t get offered for something to drink… So as we were waiting for our hookahs… Which took forever just to make 2 of the same ones. And it wasn’t even packed in there. Only 4tables but they already had their hookahs and smoking. So We got tired of waiting and left. We would never come back here. If you like waiting long go to this place. I like my hookahs made a decent amount of time. Not takin. 15min.

The hookah is so smooth and the price is just right! They have excellent customer service too which is a big plus. Great atmosphere and décor!!! If you are looking for a great place to hang give it a try.

My husband and I always have a great time here. Chill atmosphere. Good and prompt service. We really like the ice tips. My recommendation is to close the door to get it cooler in here. Or oscillating fans to move the air around the building. Other than that, its this is a great place to hang out!

Love the shisha here. Staffs are really friendly. The best shisha in AZ. If you want something owner will make it happen.

Best hookah lounge of all time! very humble and friendly staff. Plus the owner’s standard for hookah-​making and cleanliness puts all the others to shame. Pool table and a big projector for movies or music videos!
The quality of this hookah is too good not to mention. It’s the top priority of Jack (the owner) and all his staff.
This is the place to be for a weekend turn up, or a casual weekday place to study.

Hands down best hookah lounge I’ve ever been to they have an amazing hookah selection including al fakher fumari and haze. Nice range of music selection and not at overbearing volumes which is a plus. Greatest hookah in Tempe!

I have been coming to this lounge religiously since December 2013. It has been hands down the best hookah i’ve ever had, and i have been to about every lounge tempe has to offer. They use funnel bowls, coconut coals, and Khalil Mamoon hookahs. It has a unique atmosphere and after just a few visits the owner Jack Narsa treats you like family. I definitely recommend a visit if your into quality hookah and great service.

Loved this place! went out for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we went here based on other reviews. We were so impressed. It wasn’t too crowded for a Friday night, the staff was so attentive and helpful and gave us all kinds of birthday deals! Taylor mostly took care of us and he made some great suggestions for us. We will definitely be back! They mentioned moving to a new location at University and McClintock soon, can’t wait to check out the new space!

I am a frequent hookah smoker and have been smoking for 4+ years. I’ve Been going around the valley to different hookah lounges and this is my first time at this one .
The staff is very friendly, it’s a very quaint place too. Hookah is great. There is 1 single down side though. There is NO FOOD AVAILABLE. Other that that great place to come visit !!

This place was legit. We came in tonight, first time there, and it’s been a while since I’ve been to a hookah lounge, definitely the best place I’ve been to also. The staff was actually incredibly friendly and relaxed, as well as helpful when we told them it’s been a while since any of us had hookah. They answered questions thoroughly and gave great recommendations. I was with a party of four and the guy that checked us out was extremely nice also, who also negated our cover charge — something I did not expect to do. I would come here often for the service alone, not to mention the serene atmosphere. Everyone, including staff and patrons, were obviously relaxed and chillin’ out. The music was great, too, switching it up to different genres. And those comfy couches, man! They came around to rotate the coals at good times and checked up on each table often. It’s not too uncomfortably packed, either.
Also, the girls wanted me to mention that one of the employees was especially attractive. That was fun. ;)
Definitely will be back.

Best hookah lounge. Great people you don’t get bored at all they play movies sometimes so you wouldn’t be bored me and my friends we always enjoy it, they play really nice music that would make you relax not very loud no headache. The hookah is really good better then the rest hookah lounges in Phoenix. Very friendly people. I LOVE THIS PLACE I really recommended it to whoever wants to have chill time

I find the movies very boring and weekdays. To plain setting, sheesh is a little harsh. nice people though.

We live really close by and had been meaning to come for awhile. We finally had a chance to stop by and really enjoyed it! The atmosphere was very relaxing and the employees were very helpful and polite. For us, the setting means a lot and we were more than pleased with everything. Also, the prices were definitely reasonable – way more reasonable than anything by ASU.
Definitely shaping up to be a really nice place!
