The Spa

I am not necessarily the type of male who takes perfect care of my skin, but there have been a few occasions recently where I wanted to look my best. I have gone to The Spa three times now for facials to make sure that my skin looked clear and bright for events. Two different estheticians performed the facials and both were fantastic. The ambiance in the shop is great, and the location could not be better. Everyone was friendly and seemed to know exactly what it takes to make the experience relaxing and great. In addition to the skin-​care which I received, I also got a deep-​tissue massage which was excellent. I have also referred numerous friends to get massages here and the staff is extremely skilled and professional. This is a fantastic spot which offers much more personalized, and tailored service to its customers than the larger-​scale, big-​business-​feeling establishments. I would highly recommend any of the various services provided here. This is the sort of service which I hold of great value and I look forward to returning to The Spa time and time again in the coming years!

I’ve been seeing Julia since January of last year and I’m happy to say that i have found my lash girl! I recently vacationed in Hawaii and I tell you my lashes stayed great and full the whole time! Even with all the snorkeling, swimming, hiking, kayaking my lashes stayed beautiful! Thank you to Julia :) I am so thrilled to finally find someone I can trust and do an amazing job with my lashes! She is wonderful and so accommodating, she listens to your wants, needs and especially gives the best advice about what is best for you.

Kardea gave me the BEST massage I’ve ever received. I am extremely picky when it comes to a deep tissue massage and I have zero complaints with Kardea. She made sure all my knots were attacked and really got into my muscles. My body felt amazing afterward. Definitely sore the next day (which is how a deep tissue is supposed to feel) but a few days I had more shoulder flexibility and felt way looser than when I went in.

I got my eyelashes done here twice. And in those two time I have many complaints. And some compliments. On the first day I went in nothing went wrong the only problem was the smell of cigarettes which the lady explained was from downstairs. She also explained how they were trying to move so that wouldn’t be a problem. Her name was jacey she was very friendly and nice! Then I booked a two week lash appointment at 9. I got there early and went up but the door was locked. I called them and left them a voicemail. Then I checked the door again and finally left after waiting 15 minutes! Around 10 the receptionist called me saying they have no appointment scheduled for me and there’s nothing in the computer anywhere. I told her how I have my slip saying the time date and everything. She basically replied like I was the one at fault and making me feel like I was stupid? I had the slip so I was mad because I read it like twelve times making sure I wasn’t crazy. So then I just made another appointment for the following week. When I went in everything was fine I got Christi instead of jacey and she seemed a little rude at first but she was nice and was very open and told me new things that I could do with the lashes that jacket didn’t mention. When the appointment was over I asked if I needed to come every two or three weeks. She said three because I had a lot of lashes and they were strong so not a lot fell out. Next I went to pay and they lady (a younger new receptionist) swiped my card at least 6 times! I was a little worried but she said that it would only charge me once. I just checked my account and it took out twice the amount of the payment! There closed today so I will have to call tomorrow. Next I say I want to book another appointment for three weeks and I asked if I would be charged the amount for two weeks since my lady said what she said. I can’t even tell you what she said because it made no sense to me. But basically she said no. Only if your lady says that it is like a two week fill and I said she did say that and she just kept denying me so I turned around and didn’t book an appointment. I was really mad. But I got over it but now that they charged me twice and I can’t even call them to fix it I am very angry! My eyelashes did turn out very well though! And the receptionist area is very fancy! I was going to go back to get a massage and facial but I will not be returning there ever. I normally don’t care that much about things but this place treated me horrible and I am still having problems with them. If you go there just once it may be fine. I’m just saying my experience.

I just received the best massage by Annabelle. I have had several massages and in my opinion Annabelle gives the best deep tissue relaxing massage I have ever experienced. She customizes the massage to your needs. She makes sure you are comfortable with the pressure and she really focuses her attenuation to detail. I will be back.

Brenda does my lashes and I can’t praise her enough! I wanted to try lash extensions but was hesitant because I wasn’t impressed with the results one of my girlfriends got (in Carlsbad). But I decided to give it a try for my birthday last March. I chose Brenda because of the good reviews she had here on Unilocal.At my first appointment, I warned her, «I might not do this again – I just wanted to give myself a birthday present…» But I was SO PLEASED with Brenda’s attention to detail and expert service that I have been going every month for the past nine months – and I don’t plan to stop! My lashes look thick, beautiful, and you can’t tell they aren’t real. Brenda is da bomb!

Today I got my eyelashes done at The Spa by Brenda. It was the first time I’ve ever gotten eyelash extensions and didn’t know what to expect. Brenda made it such a great experience. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. You can tell she really cares about her clients and made sure I was happy with my service. I totally recommend her if you ever want to get your eyelashes done. I am so happy with the way they look. I got so many compliments and my husband loved the way they look. Truly feeling brand new!!! Thank you Brenda!

The staff at «The Spa» has impeccable customer service and is beautifully decorated. I will definitely be recommending The Spa to my friends. Massages, Facials and Lash Extensions in the heart of downtown Temecula… yes please!
