Took my husband for Father’s Day yesterday and the service was amazing. Sylvia was our waitress and she was very sweet and our drinks were always full. Rob was funny and put on a good show. My only complaint was how hot it was in there.

The food is always good. The showmanship varies greatly and the turn-over seems high. It was very hot. My rib-eye was rather fatty. It took more-than ten minutes and four attempts for them to get the check right. I’m still not entirely confident that it was – but at least items that I didn’t order were removed.

We frequent this restaurant and honestly this was the last. Not because of the food but because the temperature inside the place is always unbearable. Only today without exaggeration was about 100 degrees. Yes we are having a heat wave but it was seriously hotter in the restaurant then outside. They always say the air is on a timer and they can’t change it. So it’s basically not on most of the time, and I know this because you could feel when you had a 2 minute burst. We ultimately left because my daughter felt like she was having heat stroke, I’m not kidding! She was flushed and feeling really sick

Dinner & a show? Sign me up! This place was amazing & you have to go at least once. Clean, friendly and great food. A little pricey but so worth it.

This place is in my top 3 favorite places of all time. Their grill is great and all of the food is outstanding. I hated all seafood before coming here. Their shrimp changed my mind. I now crave this shrimp! The fried rice on the grill is delicious too! Definitely try this place! If you’re doing the grill for a large party it can get pretty pricy, but the quality is amazing.

The food and service here are simply amazing — it’s more like dinner and a show rather than just eating out. The chefs are astounding! Our chef Roger was very generous with the food, and even though two members of our party got filet minon to share, he brought extra shrimp and spread it around to almost everyone. Ditto the fried rice. Awesome experience — will definitely be going again and I highly recommend an outing here if you’re in a group looking for a great dinner experience.

Google and maps don’t work for this location. Call prior to following directions. Great food and pricing for what you get. Recommend

Shogun is one of my very favorite restaurants. It’s a local favorite due to its comfortable atmosphere and mind-blowing food. I recommend the fries rice and house salad, as well as the tofu and really any sushi roll. This food will change your life, no time to wait — head over to Shogun, now!

This place is nice, clean and yes, a little on the pricier side but what do you expect. If you want to pay less, you won’t get the quality or cleanliness. I saw other reviews about the pricing but like I said, it’s worth it to me and my family. The service is great and the chefs are entertaining. We’ll definitely be back Oh btw… you get a cool hat and free dessert on your bday

Dinner and show what’s not to love. I always get way too much food here. We walked in and asked for the grill seat. We waited about 25−30mins. Which is understandable they want a full table at the grills. The entrée is huge and I always end being too full from the appetizer to eat my entrée. Your entrée comes with miso or onion soup, rice(white or fried $ 2 extra) and a side salad. I chose the vegetarian delight. My entrée was sautéed vegetables and tofu with teriyaki sauce with steamed white rice. I also had fried calamari rings as my appetizer. My girlfriend ordered the spicy chicken and shrimp with fried rice. Her appetizer was regular edamame they also offer spicy edamame. The fried calamari was pretty good it came with two dipping sauces one was defiantly sweet and sour sauce. Not exactly sure what the second sauce consisted of. It was a bit over fried though. My entrée was really good the vegetables were fresh and the chef asked if I wanted butter prior to cooking it. Which I thought was really considerate. He put on a great show! He kept us entertained and included us in some of the tricks. The waitress was really accommodating to our table. She made sure our drinks were filled and checked on us often. If it’s your first time here you’ll have a great experience. For the return customers you know the show never really changes but it’s still fun to comeback every once in a while to enjoy a dinner show.

I don’t really go to teppanyaki places because the shows are more or less the same, and I’m low key scared of getting hit in the face with a spatula or knife. Irrational fears aside, the food is not too bad. Tastes good but nothing particularly special. It’s basically glorified fried rice. We sat at the grill and chose fried rice or noodles with a side of vegetables, and choice of meat or seafood. Prices were about $ 18-$ 35. I think it’s kinda expensive for the small amount of meat/seafood you get but I guess you’re mostly paying for the entertainment. There’s also a small selection of sushi if you feel like ordering that instead. This place is always busy so be prepared to wait. It was Saturday and I called at 4PM hoping to get a reservation for 6PM. They said the earliest time available was 8PM. A little bit later than I would have liked, but I accepted it anyway. We got to the restaurant 15 mins early and we were able to be seated right away which was good. It takes another 30 mins or so for the chef to come out though, so be prepared for some more waiting.

Nice looking restaurant. Went there excited tonight for a birthday celebration. We all got different meals yet all got food poisoning less than 3 hours later. Kids and adults. And we all had different meals earlier in the day so it wasn’t any place else. The only part of our meals that were the same was the rice, vegetables, and some shrimp.

I recommend calling in for a reservation ahead of time so you don’t have to wait so long to be seated. It was my first time eating here and my family and I had such an amazing experience. Our cook, Hugo really knows how to put on a show with all his tricks and making us laugh. The food was amazing! They give good portions and the meats were very tasty. I got the filet mignon special and it was so juicy and tender! The fried rice was so good! I also got half of a mountain roll just cuz the steak wasn’t enough for me. The miso soup tasted watered down and the dressing on the salad tasted weird to me so I had to pass on that. Other that, I like it here and would like to come again some other time.

If you’re looking for a good quality teppan grill I suggest you look elsewhere. First, we were not waited on for a good 15 – 20 minutes after being seated. The waiter was nice but an air head. He did not know the menu at all and had to constantly go back and forth to check on what was in each menu item. After this back and forth game, we received our appetizer, which was the spicy edamame. It tasted fine until I felt a slimy texture and bitter taste following shortly after. I did not think much of it until my friend pointed out that something coming out of the shell«looked like a caterpillar.» TOMYDISGUST, it was a maggot. I immediately lost my appetite and called for the manager. It took the manager over 15 minutes to come to our table. After telling him what had happened, he studied the shell almost trying to find a way to say we had«planted» the maggot. He was very rude and said he would try and give us a discount on our meal. When we received our check we noticed that only the edamame was taken off and we got a very minimal discount on our overall bill. Needless to say, I am very very disappointed with the service and quality of my meal. I will never be returning. Please take this review into consideration next time you want to eat at this restaurant.

It’s tough for me to give 1 star, the service either has to be atrocious or the food has to be garbage and in this case the service was awful and I had to wait far, far too long for food as well as the bill(do you NOT want my money?!) I made a reservation over the phone which went well. I showed up 15 minutes early and was still seated well before my reservation time which was great. Unfortunately it took about 45 to 50 minutes for the Chef to even come to our table and you all know you go to a restaurant usually because you’re hungry and so 50 minutes just sitting there was not cool. Prior to the Chef coming over our waitress took our order for drinks, food, ect. While in the middle of ordering she promptly cut me off and I was taken a little aback so I started over and she cut me off again. I really didn’t know how to react at this point so I asked if I could order and she said«Everythings OK, you don’t have to make an issue about it. You’re OK.» Well, alrighty then… thank’s Karen but you may want to work on your customer service. Plus she then screwed up my order and re-asked me everything I already told her three times before, seemingly on purpose. My guest and I each ordered the«Imperial» which isn’t cheap at $ 35 but the steak was low quality and was about 30 to 40% fat which was cut away in front of us(Which is good, since I am not going to eat it but they could have done this in the back and gave me meat instead of fat) leaving us with very little steak. Thankfully Karen left mid-course, I guess she needed to have a bad attitude elsewhere, but we sat there so long after finishing our meal(we finished first so I will be fair and count the time after the other parties were done) that we waited nearly an hour until the bill came out. An older couple that was celebrating their anniversary didn’t even get any sort of tambourine shake or anything(it’s what they do there) which they seemed to be disappointed by(it was their 57th) because they waited too long and just got up and paid at the front with the hostess which was my queue to get up and do the same but of course our server popped in at that point, finally, with the bill. All in all, I understand waiting for 20 minutes for the Chef but not 45 or 50 and so I spent a good hour and a half extra at this place, along with rude service, than I had to. Shogun, work on your service. You obviously don’t read these reviews but it needs work. Your managers are rude(not to me, I had zero interaction with them.) and your servers are inept, fix it.

We had dinner reservations for 3 people for 8pm and when we arrived, the hostess told us it would be a few minutes. No worries! When everyone sitting in the lobby got sat before us, I went up to the hostess and asked how much longer. She said there was still 2 parties ahead of us. What’s the point of taking reservations if you put us on the same list as walk ins? I waited longer and became very agitated when a party that came in as a walk in AFTERUS got sat BEFOREUS! By 8:30pm, I got up and asked how much longer. The hostess pulled out her list and there had been parties crossed off that were below us on the waitlist. I was furious and started going off on the hostess. All she could say was«you’re next». Apparently, they try to fill each station to full capacity so for odd number parties, they try to wait for another odd number party so there won’t be any empty seats in the table. Fortunately, the manager happen to be near the hostess stand and took us to be seated immediately. She also apologized for the inconvenience and offered drinks and an appetizer on the house. I was glad she tried to resolve the issue but still very irritating. I really love the concept of having someone cook dinner for you in a skilled and entertaining kind of way but I feel this place failed to deliver. For the price you’re paying(I believe our bill came out to just about $ 100 for 3 people), you would expect to get a lot more than a few pieces of dry meat and fried rice. I know the main focus of the restaurant is the show the chefs put on while cooking, but would it hurt to provide regular dinner portions and better tasting food? Was very disappointed with the service, price for the portions, and taste/quality. Won’t be coming back!

5STARS !! This place is great for kids and we come here pretty often. Their favorite is Benihana’s but that’s more of a drive to get to and this place is just the same. Few Tips: Make sure to bring a coupon in the mailers. Also if you check in here you get 10% off your bill. You MUST try the chicken fried rice! It’s to die for
