This place is great! Great prices for the amount of food! We shared a beef shawarma plate and a chicken shawarma pita and still had plenty to take home for only $ 16! We are stuffed and happy after coming here!

Let me say that the Filipino girl at the register was fantastic! Other than her the food SUCKED! You can get better and MORE food at Daphnies. One stick of meat in the wrap and the rest was filler of old lettuce onions tomatoes and way too much bread/pita. The rice was horrible not edible had to order fries. We will never go back.

I’ve tried this location twice. They had to check the back and see if they had enough chicken for a wrap. The chicken was almost jerky and close to cracking my teeth. The shawarma lacked sufficient garlic paste and the veggies were just piled on the top only. I would not recommend eating here!

Friendly and patient staff. Food was good, I prefer Sabra hummus. They’re closed Sundays.

My wife and I had lunch here once a week for the last few years. We liked it very much and now that this location is operated by the same owners of the Murrieta location, we will be comming by more often. Great food and great service.

I haven’t been to this location in a while. I was craving a falafel and didn’t feel like driving to the Murrieta location. Looking back, I should have. I was the only person in there when I went a few weeks ago and it was depressing AF. Not only did it take 20 mins to get my food, but I had to overhear family issues while I was waiting. Awkward. Also don’t read Unilocal reviews for the place you’re waiting to get your food at. Almost made me want to leave. But I paid around $ 12 for my food, so I will eat it. It was meh and the taziki sauce didn’t taste right. Like the flavors I expect from the sauce were not there. Overall, the owners need to improve the current restaurant or start from scratch with an all new one. Like others have said, I don’t see this place lasting much longer. Which is sad to say because I never want to see small business owners fail.

I’ll just state the facts and let you decide if this is where you want to spend your money. Ordered lunch for my friend and I at 12:44pm and was served at 1:22pm. 35 minute wait! There were no other patrons in the establishment! The young Asian male who took our order never greeted us with a simple, «Hi, can I take your order,» and apparently never relayed our meal request to the cook. Nice. Some customer skills might be in order. What do you think?

After shopping my friend and I decided to get a snack we stopped at this place cause it said open till 9. We order hummus & tzatziki sauce with pita bread. The cashier asked us «Togo or for here because they were closing soon» we felt obligated and decided to go eat in the car then go get desert. Our order came with only 2 slices of pita bread for two 4oz tubs of sauces. We asked if we can buy extra. The lady handed us a package of pita bread cold & said we had to warm them up in the microwave. We were so shocked she couldn’t just warm them up for 30 seconds. We were planning on going to get desert after but we had to go home to microwave our bread. I don’t know if the lady was having a bad long day but next time I’ll drive 5 mins away to Mr. Kabob. First and last time going to this place.

I have been going to the pacific pita for years. I go to both the Temecula and the Murrieta location depending on what area I am in. Their food has always been great! The Temecula location is always dead and the Murrieta location is always so busy! Today I figured out why– the service in Temecula has gone down hill and today was the last time I will ever come into this location. No wonder they are always dead. They need to work on their customer service. They were so rude when I asked to order my usual– which is not an option anymore apparently(Greek salad– no meat… Are you kidding me?). My suggestion is to drive the extra couple of miles to go to Murrieta. Amazing food and always great customer service.

I don’t see this place staying open much longer. It has new owners and higher prices. The service is really slow. When we were there the place was practically emptyand it still took awhile for our order. Plus we never heard them make any on the grill(microwave?) No big rotisserie of gyro meat either. Suspicious. Food was just OK, but not worth price. Go to Murrieta location for prompt friendly service and better food. They were the original owners.

My chicken shawarma wasn’t up to par two times. I tried to love it but it’s hard to ignore the strong smell of the feta cheese(IF it was truly feta.) Chicken was extremely dry and hard. I also paid extra for garlic spread but wasn’t packed in my order. :( They are nice people though.

Well, here I am, it’s lunchtime and these schmucks didn’t even have the grill turned on. My drink is halfway drunk, and my food STILL isn’t here. Guess what, Pacific Pita! It’s 2015 and my food should be finished already, considering it feels like I ordered it a hundred years ago. FUCK

The food was alright but service was shockingly horrible and unprofessional. I walked in to see a child taking my order.(She looked about 13, 14) I gave her my order and handed her my money. I then dug in my purse to get change. She did not know how to calculate that if my total was $ 7.07 and I give you $ 10.07 I get $ 3 back. I had to tell her twice that I am supposed to get $ 3 back and she looked dumbfounded. Her mom finally gets off the phone to assest the situation and then she got it. I got my change back. As I am standing there the mom tells the girls. «You need to look at this number» on the receipt. The child lashes back yelling at her mom saying«I DIIIIIIIIIIIIIID» Super akward. The lady let’s me know my food is ready and I asked for tiziki suace. She points at my wrap and says«isn’t it in there already?» I said«yes I would like extra» she walks away saying it’s an extra charge and I said«sure how much» she then gave me this tiny Lil sauce cup and the sauce was not even half way filled. And said no charge but next time now you know. Ok well there isn’t going to be a next time. I will never come back here. She was rude, your so called extra sauce wasn’t even filled up in the cup halfway, and your child working there is extremely rude to you and your customers. Thanks but NOTHANKS!

I have to agree with quite a few other reviews that this place is nothing compared to the one on Murrieta Hot Springs road. Here are a few reasons: Portions are small. Chicken was flavorless, no grill marks, undetectable seasoning. Hummus was the worst I’ve ever had. Grainy texture like it was curdled, not smooth and creamy like it should be. Too much lemon made it overly acidic. Barf. Salad dressing was a joke. Tasted like vinegar and water. Runny, thin and unpleasant taste. Rice was dry and bland. The Murrieta location(different owners) makes moist, flavorful rice and give you plenty of it. They actually have bigger plates and fill them up. I had decent beef tenderloin kabab, quite good actually but one item on a plate does not make a good MEAL overall. In fact I was going to give them 2 stars but on thinking back on how much my wife and I disliked our food I have to go 1 star. Sorry but Mr. Kabob is better and Pacific Pita a few miles north could teach these guys what this kind of food should taste like. Oh yeah, saw two signs in the window, one for cook wanted and another for getting a liquor license. I seriously doubt that serving beer will make people forget how sub par the food is.

The Tawook(chicken) plate is so good, I am reviewing it as I eat it. The chicken is well marinated in the right amount of garlic and spices. It’s juicy in each and every bite. The salad and the rice are fresh. Even the boba drink tastes freshly made and not grainy or pre made. The boba is firm and perfect. The hummus is made here, as I can tell it’s not a mass produced kind. Overall, it is a high quality and delicious experience. I will come here for my Mediterranean fix when I’m back here.

This was bad. Not Lebanese cuisine. Chicken shawarma tasted like some sort of game animal I couldn’t even eat it. Tzatziki was not tzatziki. Last time I came here about a year ago it was good. I don’t know what happened here.

My boyfriend and I come to Pacific Pita at least four times a week. Every time we come, we order the chicken kabob plates. They are DELICIOUS! The food quality is great, and we feel good after eating it. They also offer a variety of drinks as well as boba tea(which is pretty uncommon for this area!) If you haven’t already been to this restaurant, I encourage you to check it out. You’ll taste quality Mediterranean food and you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Pacific Pita!

This review is strictly based on my experience at the Temecula location off of ynez. First off, I was told while ordering the wait for a chicken shawarma would be 5 minutes. I waited about 20 minutes patiently and finally asked the Asian lady working the register if my order would be coming soon. She told me politely that my order was coming shortly and offered me a free drink for waiting so long of which I accepted. I waited 10 minutes longer when finally my order was ready. I opened my wrap and noticed right off the bat the chicken was not prepared correctly. The chicken was not seasoned or marinated and I could tell it wasn’t regular shawarma chicken. It was bland and undercooked. I brought it back to the counter and asked the lady to examine the quality of the food. She just kept looking back at the guys in the kitchen… No one said anything meaningful. They just kept shaking their heads like they didn’t know what I was talking about. At this point I was pissed and asked for a refund. To their credit they gave me back my money but I was more pissed about wasting time. I have been to other pacific pita locations and they were always pretty good… too bad this location lacks in both service and quality

Owners were as nice & flavorful as their food! :-) …you can tell they like to cook because it shows in their food. .looking forward to becoming regulars! Chicken was perfect and lamb was done well… so was the great hummus & bobbaganush(sp?) …good food, good times

Do yourself a favor — go to the location on murrieta hot springs near sam’s club. Same name, same menu — entirely different experience. The food here does not match the food at the other location. The portions are way way smaller for sure. And it doesn’t taste as good. My falafel were undercooked and soggy, and the color was off — looked more like a hush puppy. My fries were soggy. The side of tzatziki was flavorless and super thick — like cream cheese. The beef sharwarma wrap was 75% lettuce. If I were to guess — the same people owned both locations at one point — and they sold this one to someone else. Go to the other location and see for yourself.
