Early June 2016 a friend and I went there. Ordered filet mignon, butter with garlic(.99), baked potato and a salad. The steak was firm and cut like butter and delicious. The wait to get waited on for anything was horrendous. One person came and gave us napkins and silver, another came and took a drink order, someone came and said they sent that one on break, he took our food order. Then we asked for our drinks … and all of this was after being at the table about 15 minutes before the first person appeared. My salad with blue cheese was crisp and good. My steak finally came and the person who delivered it asked if there is anything else. I need my baked potato. Oh, the order didn’t show a baked potato but in about 10 minutes I got it. Then the bill came. My friend had ordered the same thing except she had vegetables and a special salad at extra cost. The charge for the garlic butter was $ 2.99 for both of us(she was picking up the tab.) The menu says .99 cents. There was a charge for the onion specialty flower. we never had that … there was another charge for something we didn’t have but the food we did have was on there. When we finally got someone’s attention they took the bill and said it was the people before us … they came back and the bill had serious errors on it again … he ended up charging us for one garlic butter topping and it was $ 1.49 and he reported to the manager that it ringing incorrectly. The bill never was right and in the end he forgot to put my coke on there but we were so wanting to get out of there. The place was noisy, lots of kids running around, babies or small children shrilly crying or throwing tantrums. We had arrived about 4:15 so I guess that was to be expected. Most of the waiters(all young men) seemed to be walking in a daze and uninterested … we thought they may be hung over or under the influence … their order taking was really messed up even after calling the bill to their attention and getting it changed twice it was still incorrect… Last night about 8:15 p I went there by myself because I wanted a great salad and the great steak. I ordered my filet mignon, medium rare as I had ordered a few weeks ago. I ordered the garlic butter and a baked sweet potato. The steak was stringy and it moved around so it was difficult to cut with the steak knife. I had to keep pulling meat out of my mouth because there were sinewy strings in it. It was tasteless. I was so hungry because I sat in the booth over 10 minutes before I could get any attention. I kept trying to get the waitress eye that was in the booth next to me which was the last booth in that setting. I finally got someone I caught as she was walking by. When she saw I was frustrated she offered to take my drink order and would find my waitress. I was so unbelieving of a waitress really coming that she ended up taking my order for me. In a little while my drinks were delivered and a while after that my waitress who was a lovely young woman came to me to apologize to me because she didn’t see anyone in the booth and kept wondering why no one was being seated … I am not a small woman, but I was alone so maybe she was looking on the other side of the booth … not sure … my food was served in a decent time but the restaurant was really, really busy so I gave some slack there. It was close to 9 when I ate but families kept coming in. However there was a small child throwing a fit and screaming the entire time that I was sitting there, except for about the last 10 minutes. While her family sat on the phone ignoring her and the other woman with her was up walking a baby around … don’t know their circumstances but it was not pleasant … the point being it doesn’t matter, early or late it is family night all evening … my first visit was a Friday and last night was a Thursday. I brought half of my steak home and have no desire to eat it as it is such poor quality and tough and sinewy. Of course my bad for not calling the bad steak to the attention of the waitress but I didn’t want to chance another long wait to have a new order … and I wanted to get away from the noise … I’ve been to the Outback many times and had pretty good food and fairly good service, both at this one in Temecula and also in Denver and other cities. It is always busy. It is a family restaurant of sorts… my opinion is for the prices they charge and the extremely poor service I will not be going back there … at least not for dinner. I sometimes have gone for a late lunch on a Saturday with other friends and had a much better experience. I didn’t order steak at those times but I will never order steak there again if I do chance going back for lunch.

Outhouse Steakback … There is NO way that you can call this place a steakhouse. We had a mediocre blossom. They couldn’t get any of our steaks cooked correctly. It took them an hour to serve us a rare steak. By far one of the worst, over priced meals I have had in a long time. If your in the area, there are a ton of options available to you to eat at … My recommendation is to not choose this place… ****Outback … Australian for outhouse because there food is so shitty. ****** just saying.

My family and I came for dinner over the weekend. We made a reservation(It was 8 of us) for 5:00PM. We walked in and were surprised the restaurant was empty for a Saturday night, but maybe it was early. We were seated right away. Mind you my family and I come here at least 3 times a month. We ordered 7 meals and 2 wing appetizers also alcohol so you know our bill was not cheap. I order the same meal every time I go to this restaurant, I order the filet with just a little pink(medium well), baked potato and salad. When our food arrived, the piece of meat I received was not a Filet, it was a Sirloin. I waved the waiter down however a couple times I would look for him he was talking to the two hostess at the front… When I told him about my steak, he tried to tell me the way I wanted it cooked made the steak appear different then a filet… I was with family so I didn’t want to make it a big deal but I’m sorry, I eat at your restaurant an order the same meal every time I know exactly what the steak looks like when it’s cooked and the difference between a Filet & Sirloin. I was really disappointed in the way it was handled, the waiter just brushed it off. My family and I love this place so I hate to give a horrible review but for the amount of money we spend here and as a loyal customer it didn’t sit right with me.

Here’s the thing about Outback, the food is actually good. Maybe not GREAT, but pretty good. The reason they get a lower rating(form me anyway) is that the cost is not inline with the food and service. The wife and I went in last weekend and dinner for the two of us ended up being $ 110, not including tip. That’s just NUTS. The service was not exactly exceptional either. The servers are friendly enough(in a Stepford kind of way), but a few details of our order were completely forgotten. We didn’t bring it up since, THANKGOD, they didn’t show up on the bill, but still … Anyway, I am sure there are big fans of Outback that will want to debate its value. Its just for me the cost is about 30% higher than it should be for the food and service. To be fair, though, I repeat, the food not bad. Its just not exceptional.

The food was ok, but wow the service was SLOW. 20 min wait for a table in a empty restaurant. It took nearly 40 min for the food to come after we ordered

We loved the interior of the restaurant! Our server was nice and attentive. The reason I’ve given 3 stars was the quality of their steak. It was overcooked and under seasoned. I would’ve given it 2 stars if not for their wonderful costumer service.

Went to Outback Steakhouse 5÷21÷16 for a graduation celebration. We ordered salmon and it was over cooked. The signature steak was just ground meat with no flavor, the vegetables were undercooked. My husbands steak with mushrooms was chewy and impossible to break down. My steak was tasteless, I had to ad A1 to give it some flavor and the shrimp that came with it was too salty. I’m not sure what’s happening with the kitchen, but they have gone down hill. I was pretty excited to go there from memories of years ago, BUT I will never return. My bill was $ 80. Too much. What a waste of money.

My daughter and I frequent Outback pretty often. This is one of her favorite spots. We ate here a few nights ago. We had the wings for an appetizer and they were great. My daughter loves the Joey medallions cooked medium with fries. She also loves her A1 sauce for her steak. I had the Pork Chop with a baked potato and broccoli. I must admit, they know how to prepare a great chop. Thanks for a great meal with great service at an affordable price. Win, win situation plus priceless Daddy daughter moments.

The service was very unfriendly and the waiter seemed disinterested in serving us. The steaks were cooked perfectly but the rest of the meal was fairly impoverished. Never offered us a refill on our drinks. Pretty disappointed. Probably won’t ever go there again, at least not that location. For the money spent, Vail Ranch Steakhouse would have been a far better choice for quality of food, service and atmosphere. Just saying…

Singed up for email alerts for deals, coupons, special promos since I had the same going on with other restaurants. We already like Outback but hey, why not save a few bucks when you can. Saw an offer on the Outback Steakhouse website that mentioned«15% off lunch or dinner on March 1st»(off the whole check.) They called it «Leap into March» because it launched the day before on April 29th I guess. So I thought this would be good enough reason to go on a Tues. night when it ought to be slow, not crowded. We were seated right away and our server took our drink order. Once we decided on our dinner we ordered the Bistro Style Roasted Sirloin and my wife got the NY strip I believe. Our food took between 10 – 15 minutes to arrive and it was hot. The cubed potatoes were crispy outside like chunky french fries and the roasted sirloin with the Dijon mustard sauce was creamy and really, really good. It comes medium rare which is exactly how I like my beef, and they nailed it. Perfect medium rare! Tender, flavorful, and the 8oz portion with the potatoes and broccoli was just the right amount of food. My wife like her steak(she likes it medium well) and the seasoning was good. Our server did an outstanding job of checking if we needed drink refills, extra salad dressing, etc., etc. and when I mentioned the online deal he asked the managers and the confirmed it was 15% off. Good meal, service and a discount. Very happy.

Your manager Mr. Lista is a joke. Your have the nerve to touch people’s,(your guest’s) food with your BARE hands? You argue with a guest comparing another restaurant, and you only take $ 10 off our meal… You keep the $ 10 bucks bud. That is ridiculous.

«WE’REINDEPENDENT, WEDON’T HONORCORPORATEADSPECIALS.» We made our last visit to this Outback location last evening, 2−9−16. My wife and I stopped by to enjoy one of the specials we have been seeing on TV. We ordered the NEW! MARSALAROASTEDSIRLOIN, Tender slices of roasted sirloin topped with sautéed mushrooms and a savory mushroom Marsala sauce. Served with creamy Parmesan rice and a broccoli garnish, PERFECTLYPAIRED. PERFECTLYPRICED. HAND-CARVEDROASTEDSIRLOIN. The ad was priced at $ 10.99 and looked beautiful. At this Temecula Outback we were informed that«WE’REINDEPENDENT, WEDON’T HONORCORPORATEADSPECIALS.» We were already in our seats so we decided order the meal from ad’s and pay the $ 15.99. The meals above that we ordered arrived and much to our surprise and disappointment we could not believe they were what was advertised. The HAND-CARVEDSIRLOIN looked like it was carved with a roofing hammer. The meat looked like leftovers from another meal. The vegetables were soggy and tasted like salty mush the rice was undercooked. What a terrible meal. You should know, we were using a $ 10.00 Bonus coupon which was one of 7 that we received when we purchased SEVEN $ 50.00 Christmas gift certificates for our children and grandchildren. We will NEVER make the mistake of giving our family Christmas Gift Certs from OUTBACKRESTURANTS no matter the location, and that’s too bad that ONEBADAPPLECANSPOILTHEREPUTATIONOFTHEENTIRECHAIN. CORPORATEOUTBACK obviously allows this behavior, so how do you trust any Outback Location?

I ordered the teriyaki filet griller and it was horrible. I ordered it well done and it was rare. Not only was it not cooked correctly the meat was fatty and it was cold. I will not be returning.

My boyfriend and I visited the Outback Steakhouse in Temecula last Monday, 11÷30÷15 at about 5pm. After sitting at the bar, for more than 10minutes, we saw 2 women, one of which, was the bartender, standing at the end of the bar, chatting about their weekend. At no point during those 10 minutes, were we acknowledged or asked if we would like a drink. After finishing their conversation, the bartender moseyed over to us and took our drink order. On a slow Monday night, our presence was a complete inconvenience to her. We received only the one set of drinks, and was never checked on after that. A man, who appeared to be in management, spoke with the bartender and another employee about their slow Thanksgiving weekend at the restaurant, still ignoring our empty glasses. This man slaughtered over to a side table, texting the whole time and seemed more interested flirting with the blonde bartender than managing the restaurant. After the«manager» asked the bartender for a soda and she began pouring with our glasses still empty, we stood up and asked to cancel our dinner and we paid for the 1 set of drinks and left. Terrible experience. Extremely poor customer service. So disappointing, since we receive impeccable customer service at the Outback in Ontario Mills area. Temecula is much closer to home, but we would rather drive the extra miles and be treated with great service than visit this establishment again.

The long and skinny… Stake was decent, not Ruth Chris, but it’s not trying to be. Top shelf margaritas are AWESOME!!! They definitely know how to do that! However my son didn’t eat all of his kids grilled cheese sandwich. I made the mistake of taking a bit of it… Straight garbage!!! Worst grilled cheese ever!!! I am not kidding, good thing it was my sons and he isn’t picky. Just a heads up. Go for the«cheaper» stakes, stay for the margaritas, stay clear of kids menu!

Tonite we visited with my parents and some friends while visiting them in Temecula. I haven’t had dinner at an Outback in awhile, but my memory was that the steaks were pretty darn good for the price. I ordered the lobster and sirloin special. As did my mom and my boyfriend’s daughter. By the way, our server Travis was a super nice guy and throughout dinner he was on top of things. Back to the review. My boyfriend’s daughter’s steak was good– she likes it medium rare. My mom does too and hers seemed ok, but her lobster was overdone to the point she couldn’t get it out of the shell. It looked as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp too. :-(Normally, you can take lobster and pull out large pieces pretty easily. Not the case with this order. It turned out it took them till try 3 before they got her a decent tail. I know we aren’t at a fancy seafood place, but I think it might be a plus to have someone take a lesson from the way they cook it at a high end seafood restaurant. Not to slam Outback, but making the lobster tender and easy to remove from the tail is key. My steak(ordered medium) came out super dry and close to well done. I felt so bad sending it back, but the one I got to replace it was amazing! Super juicy and full of flavor. So I was really pleased. Everyone else’s meal was pretty good. Our server was a champ through the lobster debacle and my steak being over cooked. I was impressed with how they handled it.(Although, if it were me, as a manager I may have comp’d a portion of the meals that had issues.) I’ve seen it done many times! But it’s ok. Overall a positive experience and the staff was helpful and really did a good job to make sure we were happy with the meals. Lastly, I will be back to Outback. But I will likely stick to The Cannery in Newport Beach or another comparable seafood place for my lobster. :-)

I need more stars to rate this meal. The meat quality was first rate. I could’ve cut it with a spoon. Perfectly cooked. Perfectly everything.

Outback Steakhouse use to be one of those restaurants that you always came home with leftovers! I loved that, but those days are over. Now you only get 1 side with you meal, where it use to be 2. It also seems to me that most protein portions have gotten small while the prices have remained the same. With that said this location it hit or miss with both it’s food and service. I have been here several times and it seems like we are often greeted with a grumpy under trained wait staff. Tonight was a great example. Our first waiter was constantly in a rush, not friendly and not staying on top of his job, serving. However, his shift ended while we were still eating and the waitress that replaced him was friendly and very welcoming. It was a polarizing experience. This often happens in restaurants with hi staff turn over rates; however, I think it reflects the management. With that said, their food is OK. Overall I am giving them an OK rating(3 stars).
