Me and my husband went out to breakfast and had a great breakfast at corner bakery café

I like coming here for a quick bite to eat but still getting to enjoy a sit-​down meal. There’s plenty of seating inside and few tables outside as well.
The menu for breakfast has a variety of plates, sandwiches, and few healthier options like oatmeal. I tried a breakfast Panini the other day. It was a good size. It also had plenty of bacon and cheese on it. I wish it came with a side inside of having to order one at an additional price. My husband got one of the plates and it was loaded with bacon. Just make sure you specify what kind of toast you want because the cashiers may not ask.
For lunch, I like the pasta dishes. There flavorful and creamy. For dessert, try a blueberry pocket pie. It has a nice glaze and is packed with blueberries. I like to drink the hibiscus lemonade they offer. It’s sweet and tangy and you can refill your cup as much as you desire.
The thing about Corner Bakery is that I feel the prices don’t add up to food. It’s overpriced for the quality of food you receive. Very similar to Panera Bread but better food and options.

Customer service is okay but food quality is absolutely horrible. The last few times I’ve been the food is luke-​warm and is presented terribly. Will not be coming back after my last experience.

Got the chicken pesto sandwich and it was not good. I couldn’t even taste the pesto. I asked for it to be hot and the only thing that came hot was the bread. The chicken was cold. In all it was bland tasting. Would not return and the at any of the corner bakery locations. Unless I want bland tasting food.

First one here and their food is really good. I am so not a sandwich person. I had the chicken Pompidou on sourdough and it was delicious. I also got a hot mocha and that was good. Stopped here with my friend on our way to Vegas. The coffee kept me up enough for our 5 hour drive.

I love this place everyone is always so friendly and the food is always fresh. Hands down the best blueberry bagels i have ever had!!! The coffee is not too great but for sure you will enjoy any meal here.

Sarah tok my order and placed the incorrect. When I questioned the manager Suzanne about a number or how do I receive my food, she says I never ordered. All to discover the wrong sandwich was ordered. She was very rude and in apologetic for the cashier mishandling, as well as hers. She (Suzanne) was rude in handling refund.
I choice a healthier alternative today, all to get an alternative treatment. Michael, the general manager stepped in once I asked for him and handled the situation. Thank you to Michael for offering to comp my lunch today. He did an awesome job in defusing the situation.

I booked online last night for catering today at lunchtime. I was amazed at the simplicity of placing an order online. I will admit, I was a bit nervous because I’m used to speaking to people directly when I place an order for food but this was all well and good. Lynn was the one that delivered to my office and she is fabulous. Talk about a personable employee, she had a smile on her face and she set up our food so nicely. You could tell she was happy and proud of what she delivered as well, which is another huge plus. We have used Corner Bakery Café for these types of events and will continue to do so due to the great customer service and delicious food.

Visited here for the first and last time. You can only have eggs scrambled our food was ice cold the toast wasn’t toasted and not buttered and the potatoes were shriveled my friend had pancakes and eggs both ice cold. We returned the food which they microwaved and returned to us. The coffee bar was empty when we complained they said sorry but did nothing to compensate us or even attempt to make it right over 20 bucks wasted. Now I could understand if it were crowded I might be more apt to understand but it was quiet maybe 6 other tables. We won’t be back.

This was great! Oatmeal was to die for, & so helpful to my kids in their breakfast meals. Recommend going here!

I ordered online for pickup a chicken pomodori with avocado. when i get back to my ofc, i opened the sandwich and theres no chicken, no avocado. Is this a joke??? im so pissed right now. i ordered online to save time and this is what i got. goood job guys!

Service was great and fast. But the food was not so great. I ordered the gobbler. It looked nothing like the picture. It was very bland. And it surely didn’t remind me of a Thanksgiving dinner.

Stopped by before grocery shopping. I like the menu choices. After I ordered I was a little nervous because I could hear the manager talking to the kitchen staff telling them how to cook eggs. Yikes!
My son ordered pancakes eggs and bacon. I ordered a breakfast flat. The food was good but the portions a tiny. (I’m not a big eater) but left hungry:(

Been here like 6 times. Every time I am greeted with a smile. The food has been good and people very nice. Its a little pricey but its Temecula. I will return again and again. Great job here guys!

First stop and it was to redeem a free item off their update menu.
Chicken Chipotle Flatbread with a bag of chips, and it was delicious. Grabbed a me u and seems like they have a lot to offer for breakfast and the food they have seems like a great fit for those getting out of the office to grab a bite to eat. There is a great porch full of tables to enjoy the afternoon over some great, fresh food.
Similar to Panera but seems like it’s more modern, urban and friendly environment. Would love to grab some more food from this great place soon.

LOVE this place! But sadly we made a work order, had someone pick it up and they forgot my food! she even made the manager double check to make sure everything was there. They made up for it and they delivered it though! A plus… But would have liked to eat with my co workers.

I have to say it, this is the most inconsistent Corner Bakery I’ve ever been to.
I’ve been to many other Corner Bakery locations and this one has repeatedly let me down. After choosing to dine here again, I’m starting to question my sanity.
Dear Corner Bakery on Ynez: waiting 30 minutes for steel cut oatmeal is unacceptable. Only to be told that they forgot about your order and it’ll be another 15 minutes for your food to come out. Who has 45 minutes to sit around waiting for some oatmeal?! The worst part is tracking someone down to ask them where your order might be.
The fiancée and I have been to this location several times and each time I’m praying it is better than the last. Sadly, if we can’t get the exact same quality, flavor, portion size and freshness as other locations, there’s really no reason to come back to this one.
On the few occasions we’ve brought up this issues to management on duty, it feels like pulling teeth. It’s not like we’re walking around looking for things to complain about. But if you make our salad wrong and leave ingredients out, I’m going to say something about it. If the bread is hard as a rock and is completely inedible, I’m going to ask for a new one. dealwithit. jpg
Ok, so here’s the plus side. The baked goods are amazing. I love those bags of chocolate candied cookies when you’re standing in line or the giant sugar cookies in the display case. It’s also worth mentioning that the customer service at the counter and in the field have always been impeccable.
A little consistency goes a long way!

My coffee was horrible, got a cap it was bitter, asked for a cup for regular coffe even though I paid for a large specialty drink, the regular coffee was bitter as well, this is like McDonald’s quality for coffee from a café?

A friend of mine was really excited about the Corner Bakery opening up in Temecula. So I went and decided to check it out for myself. This place is brand-​spanking new, and very clean and pretty. Like everyone else says, the ambiance and menu seem very Panera-​esque. The service girls were very nice, but they were very slow. Since they’re a brand new place, I’m thinking that these kids haven’t gotten the swing of how to handle customers and orders and that having 5 people in the back with one cashier in the front with a line forming isn’t that efficient. And it wasn’t even crowded.
Anyway I ordered the truffle hot chocolate and an Anaheim panini. The panini was very good, with good texture and flavor – not really sure about the price for this breakfast sandwich though. The truffle hot chocolate was very tasty, and you get to choose the type of milk (half and half, whole, skim, etc). Overall, food good, prices eh, and service needs some work.

So happy we have a Corner Bakery in North Temecula! Went to the Grand Opening after 8pm and it was still fairly busy. Great baked goodies! The Monster M&M chocolate chip cookies were my kids’ favorite. I love the chopped chicken salad & the chocolate chip cookies. The atmosphere is casual and there’s plenty of indoor /​outdoor seating. The staff is young and obviously still in training so my order was mixed up and service was a little slow, but they were very apologetic and compensated us with some vouchers for free kids meals and a $ 10 coupon for my next visit. My food was still delicious and I’m more than happy to keep going and will refer my friends to go as well.
The desserts, bagels, cookies and coffee selection is great. The salads and soups with bread bowls are amazing.
I’m just glad I don’t have to wait to drive too far to get my cravings of their Harvest salad (think Thanksgiving flavors) in a healthy salad! Yumm!
