I have to echo Angela E. It’s going downhill in a hurry! We have had our kids enrolled at the Boys & Girls Club for several years. There have been issues over this time but the frequency of these issues have increased dramatically in the last 6 months. Their policies seem to change on a whim and who you talk to. Sometimes they prorate your monthly fees for extended holiday periods and other times they don’t. When you question them about this, they try to claim they never prorate. I have checks to prove otherwise. The last time I initiated enrollment was in Spring of 2013. In April of 2014 I paid the annual membership fee. Annual means yearly… as in 12 months. When I went in to pay my January 2015 tuition, I was told that I owed another annual membership fee… and you guessed it, «they’ve ALWAYS» renewed in January. I have checks to prove otherwise. Then they proceeded to mention that the annual membership fee has gone up 400%…yes 400% and was due and payable today… No notice… just hi, we just substantially raised your fee with no notice. I should also mention how a parking lot of people have been kept waiting for someone… anyone to show up and open the clubhouse. It’s supposed to open for business by 6:30AM. Multiple times, my wife has been made to wait until well after 7AM and still no one shows up so she has to call in other people to open HER business on time because this clubhouse staff can’t get their act together! My wife and I have a combined 30 years experience managing our businesses and I can assure you not once have we had any similar type problem. There is no excuse. It gets better! I actually wrote to the board president about this issue. I have a read receipt to show he read my letter. It’s been over 6 weeks and I’ve received NORESPONSE. They are OBVIOUSLYNOTCONCERNED with the irresponsible antics of the staff. This week, I sent the tuition check in with my son as usual. He brought it home and said that they wouldn’t accept it. They said I have to pay in the afternoon. Another policy change with no notice… what a shocker. So, I go over this afternoon to pay and what happens? They say, I can take it this time but you’ll have to pay in the morning from now on… at this point I have no words… deal with these folks at your own risk

I used to love this place until a new unit director and office manager was brought in, now customer service and professionalism seems to have gone down hill. I was overcharged for NOV and when I spoke to the unit director he said he had decided to change the prices that day«because he can» I have called EVERYONE I could think of. Sam the operations director whom I spoke with once and he said he would call me back and never did, again I left him multiple messages including corporate headquarters and have received no resolution NOONE will call me back. Ive even gone as far to leave messages at other facilities just to try and talk to a live person. The office manager Keena never knows what is going on and is very unhelpful. To put the icing on the cake coincidentally my scholarship application WITHALLMYPERSONALINFO on it «got lost» the same month I’ve had problems. It has now been over a month since I turned it in and still haven’t received any response and when I try to get a human resources number no one has the info. If someone can please get me some numbers to get this issue resolved I would appreciate it. Its unfortunate because my son loves going there after school to play with his friends, but if nothing gets taken care of I will be forced to take my business elsewhere.

My son absolutely loves archery here. The club is nestled in a park in a safe, convenient neighborhood. Always clean and staffed with happy people. I was so impressed I joined the Board of Directors.
