We made a reservation for 8, 3 kids and 5 adults. We had the best table in the house, close to the bar and open kitchen. Our hostess and waitress, Lori was wonderful and when we asked, she directed us exactly in the right direction of what to order. Cheese fondues were great and the filet was cooked perfectly. Chocolate fondue was self serve, with lots of dipping goodies. It was a really fun evening. You should try it.

The food was good, although overpriced. The tables were so close together that people trying to get between them had to turn sideways. I’m really surprised it passes firecode regulations.

the fondue was great, if you go get the truffle fondue. that being said, its pretty difficult to mess up fondue so it was nothing impressive. the filet was good. the dessert bar was total trash. i would have expected to be able to get a fondue bowl of chocolate for the table, but instead you have to go to a bar that doesn’t even have any fresh fruit. for the price you are paying, you get a collection of cookies that are basically all the same. where were the strawberries or bananas or pieces of Belgian waffles? also, the ice cream in my opinion was fine, but nothing special. id much rather get a pint of turkey hill from Kroger and it would be much tastier and cheaper. i understand that this is in telluride and it costs more on location alone, but the pricing on the menu was misleading and it is price per person instead of price per pot of fondue — this makes no sense. its like in one of those advertisements where you are offered two for one, but instead you are getting one for two. if they want it to be a $ 48 pot of fondue, write that on the menu instead of making that confusing. i would not recommend to a friend. if you are with a group of six, as we were, the space is too small and intimate to be nicely enjoyed and involves a lot of reaching over and crowded elbow space. also, our waitress was nice but a truly bad waitress. she brought salads before my dad and his friends beer. thats bizarre. she seemed spacey and we had to ask several times for things even when there were’t many people in the restaurant. if you want a bizarre meal of overly priced fondue this is your place, otherwise get a fondue pot from bed bath and beyond, some chocolate and some fruit from the grocery store and have a fondue night at your own home and it would be a better experience.

What a gem for Telluride. Funky, adorable, and absolutely delicious. Seriously, staff was hard working and attentive. I have really never eaten fondue, so waiter took the time to explain, items, and wine. The homemade ice cream is not to be missed. Even home made hot chocolate. If you’re in Telluride, check this place out. I’ll be back a lot while in town.

It’s a small place, and I can see that the people who run it try to position it as somewhat exclusive, which is reflected in the pricing(comparable with Pinte Besson in Lausanne, which was founded in the 18th century, for crying out loud), but exclusivity should mean that every customer is treated as a long-awaited guest, and the staff failed at that. And fail started right at the door. It’s Telluride, winter, evening, pretty cold. People wear coats. There was no place where you can hang a normal-sized winter coat. We had to arrange our coats in a sort of a nest near the entrance. Then our party was seated and forgotten for 30+ minutes — nobody even brought us water. When our order finally arrived(another long wait), some of us did not have utensils or napkins, and that also took time to fix, and for some reason we still came one napkin short, the burner under the raclette slab went out, and no one bothered to remedy that, and so on. At the same time, the couple next table were having words with the waiter because they found something gross in their fondue. And how was the food, you’ll ask? It was good, but in my opinion, absolutely not worth the cost, the wait, and the waiter rolling his eyes when asked for a refill of water with no ice. In the end, we did not leave hungry, thanks, but I don’t think we will be back.

I like it. It’s a funky but charming niche restaurant in the heart of telluride. A fun little spot.

Made a reservation on Open Table for New Years Eve. We arrived about 15 minutes ahead of our reservation, and with it being New Year’s Eve, the place was was bustling. We had to wait a few minutes, but were offered drinks while waiting. Once sat, Lina, our waitresses, treated us well. We ordered the traditional fondue, and it was awesome! Bar none the best fondue outside of Switzerland! After dinner, we enjoyed an awesome chocolate fondue. Oh, and the chocolate cinnamon ice cream is to die for as well! Highly recommended!

Be careful. I made a reservation for new years eve using open table in October, I received an email last week that the restaurant cancelled my reservation. I called the restaurant to inquiry and they told me they were full and could not re-book. They didn’t seem to care that they made a mistake.

The restaurant is very small and intimate. The staff very pleasant and helpful. We had the«local» favorite — The Telluride Scrapple and everyone loved it. Our only regret we were to full to eat more would have loved to try 2 or 3 more. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The caramel sauce on the homemade rum raisin ice cream was to die for. Wonderful place.

So overpriced, even by sticking to basics fondues with no meat selections we were paying $ 160 for our food bill. The chocolate fondue was a rip off. The fondue comes with array of croutons and apples that’s it and it’s $ 22 per person.

Crazy crazy overpriced. Even for a resort town. We came in for fondue for three and after ordering drinks read the menu more closely and noticed the price was«per person». $ 27 per person for a pot of cheese, bread and apples? I could understand charging extra per person as you’re prepping more dippers, but a full $ 27 each? We ordered a couple glasses of prosecco too, which were served room temperature from an already open bottle(and we were the first table, of the day so I assume they saved that bubbly from the night before). Flat and gross. The fondue itself was tasty but total rip off. If you’re looking to drop $ 100 on cheese and bread, knock yourself out. Otherwise head to Oak The New Fat Alley BBQ for awesome normally priced food.

Service with a smile. Adventuresome drink specials and 1st rate fondu. Definitely worth stopping by and they are conveniently open late

The food was excellent, but a series of super weird events led me to knock off a few stars. It was completely empty and some of the staff was so awkward. There was no music for a while, and nobody talked to eachother. Luckily the new«chef» was friendly and talked to us and made us feel less weird. We got the telluride scrapple, which again was excellent, but certainly not worth $ 30 per person. I’m glad we went but I probably wouldn’t go again.

This place was delicious! A cute gem tucked above a jewelry store. Even on a day when they were short-staffed, the service was excellent –friendly and attentive yet not overbearing. And the fondue… delicious! We ordered the Basque fondue, and it was amazing. Delicious bread, apples, and asparagus for dipping. Although it’s not an ideal set up for kids(no high chairs or boosters and bit crowded), it was a great meal for our kiddos(1.5yo and 4yo). They loved eating melted cheese for dinner. My only complaint is that dessert could’ve been better. As per another reviewer, chocolate fondue would have been the icing on the cake. Instead it was luke-warm caramel(the chocolate sauce wasn’t even available) and stale dippers.

Small and cozy fondue place. Good selection of cheeses and wine, only complain is they didn’t have chocolate fondue for dessert.

Made a reservation and got a confirmation. Just before we were to head down we got an email stating the reservation was canceled with no explanation and a number to call with questions. We called the number and it went to a personal cell phone(generic phone number) voice mail. After a second attempt, we finally talked to someone who was completely unapologetic and down right rude. Save your money for someplace that actually cares. If their service is this bad before you even get there I can’t imagine how bad it is once you’re there!

In the last six months this place has become a staple of my telluride visits. Don’t go for a quick bite or expect the level of attention you get in a large city establishment. This place is tiny, it seats no more than 20 people, but everything they serve is exceptional. The fondue is fantastic although not traditional. Don’t expect little Switzerland, just have an open mind. The Raclette is a fantastic new twist on a classic. My favorite«standards» are the Cajun and the Basque. They also infuse their own liquors and have an original cocktail menu. If you like a little heat, the Jalapeño margarita will knock your socks off. Good service in telluride is always a challenge, focus on the food and atmosphere and you won’t be disappointed.

Super weird. We walked in and the ceiling was leaking next to a table and no one even came over to after 15 minutes to seat us. The food smelled good, but we left before we tried it.

Loved this place! We were here for the Telluride Film Fest which we quickly found out with the lowly non-sponsor pass, we would need to find quick places to eat to jam food down or find places open late. We stumbled here realizing that they would be open late and not much else was open. We were delighted to find a cozy atmosphere with a friendly staff. We had delicious food and great wine(probably a tad too much) and all around had a great time late into the evening!

First time at this place. Great intimate environment reminded me of the best restaurants in Europe. Loved the slow pace the quality and the atmosphere. Awesome to see a restaurant serving in Telluride after 9PM. This place is full if potential and well worth it!
