Problem with the TV’s Almost everything on the menu was fried. Ordered sliders and the beef was teeny-tiny — all bun! Ordered sweet potato fries and they were sweet potato chips — they should not advertise them as fries. Hot dog came in a huge hard bun — very difficult to eat. Only reason I would return is for the location of the place. I can walk there.

Love the food, the sports bar ambience. Very noisy with lots of TVs, typical bar scene. Wednesday is game night– which is pretty fun! Chicken fingers rock, fried pickles, burgers are all awesome! Only thing I don’t love are the wings.

As soon as I walked in and sat at the bar, the first words that came out of this bartenders’ mouth were to inform me that the kitchen was closed and they were no longer serving any meals. There were those around me that had food near them and I thought maybe they were here earlier than me and so I decided to order a mixed drink. I continued having conversations with friends and an hour or two had passed when a group of people sat down at a table adjacent to the bar. They ordered drinks and not a moment later they were enjoying fries and hotdogs! Two other folks that were sitting towards the left of me at the end of the bar who had previously ordered food also ordered another round of hotdogs! I was angered and surprised! I was deceived and hungry!!! I left that establishment with an empty belly taking my business elsewhere to a place that would not greet me with«the kitchen is closed» and instead with a nice«hello».

The perfect place for a motzi Shabbos date night. First of all, the service was impeccable. This is something that is often overlooked at most kosher establishments. We ordered the buffalo wings, burgers, and the chili with nachos. Everything was delicious and the servings were large enough for doggie bags. I also had the most delicious mojito!

The doghouse has accomplished what no restaurant beforehand has accomplished — the successful creation of a kosher sports bar. Delicious burgers and dogs abound, the smell wafts through the door with every rotation — of which there is no shortage. Make a reservation. The delicious food is very popular and the place is generally packed to the gills. Highly recommended — try the chicken fingers and the burgers!

This was a disappointing late lunch spot. The place was fairly empty: 1 other table of 2 seated at the bar area, 1 table in the regular dining area, and 1 table outside. They had a lot of clutter out in the bar area. I ordered the lunch special hot dogs(2 dogs w/kraut & spicy mustard) and a cup of chili. I asked for extra mustard on the hot dogs as well. after a long wait in a place that was empty i get two naked hot dogs. the server/bartender, said he forgot something so I assumed he realize the error and ran back to kitchen and came back with honey mustard. I’m sitting there with a WTF look on my face, and I had to ask him for the kraut & tell him he brought the wrong kind of mustard. Once that was finally straightened out, I was able to finally eat. The hot dog was nothing special, I guess I was expecting something more from a hot dog place. The chili was pretty good. With the high prices on the menu, I was expecting more which is probably why I was so disappointed. Don’t plan on going back.

I go here often, the burgers are good and a nice selection of beers on tap and from micro breweries. A good place to catch the game with lots of screens. A kosher restaurant that is clean with polite knowledgeable staff.

I really want to love this place. It’s a bar, it’s kosher and it serves bar food. But this place always leaves me feeling frustrated. They can never seem to get a handle on service. They know they are consistently busy, so at this point they should be able to handle the mad rush. They need better trained waiters who can handle the rush and a better trained kitchen that can accommodate the orders. They are nice and have a menu that I want to love. It is one of the better options for burgers in the area though.

I would give it 0 stars if I could– we had a horrible experience. My waitress was rude to us and other customers– calling a customer an asshole in front of us. We waited 30 minutes for an appetizer and then the couple next to us, that ordered after us, got served all their food before us. The manager apologized but then Did not make anything right when none of our main meals were complete. They never gave me my French fries and my friend never got his rice. We spent 65 dollars for a bad experience and I will not be returning.

I’m giving 3 stars for the food.. service, not so much. We rolled in at 830-ish after a full day of car travel: my husband and me and our 5 young children. We were hungry and looking for a good meal. It was 5-star tasty, for sure, but the atmosphere and service knocked some stars down. I ordered a burger, my usual weird order of more than medium rare, but less than medium, and it was PERFECT. The burger was flavorful and the toppings fresh(although the avocado was not yet ripe and HARD, but the rest was really really quite good). My husband ordered two different types of chicken fingers that he would share with our son and they were both EXCELLENT. My daughters had sliders, hot dogs, and salad among the three of them. All the food came out very quickly and was quite hot and fresh, with the exception of the hot dogs, which arrived well after the rest of us had finished our food. Our server told us that they were being deep fried. Once they came out of the kitchen, i could see a kerfuffle from where i was sitting. One man was looking befuddled by the order of two plain hot dogs(one with avocado), whilst our server pretty much was begging him to hurry. She ended up finishing the order and bringing it out to my children. Thank heavens we had ordered onion rings and a fry basket to share, and or server had brought extra paper boats to distribute the fried goodies. See pictures for some(dark) samples of what our food looked like. Tl; dr Food was 5 Star Overall Service was 2 Star, but A good server who was trying her best gets 4 stars, bringing it to 3 star experience overall

Looks like a pub. Ok, more to a sports bar. Ok… a family sports bar, I would say. The thing is: the hot dogs are really good. And the beer menu seems to be amazing, indeed! Definitely it’s a place you need to check when in North Jersey. Went for lunch and had 2 ball-park hot dogs — regular hot dogs, with deli mustard and sauerkraut. The buns were really soft and the sausages were really good also, but the sauerkraut was the cherry of the cake — what a great combo! And only 5.99! Really? This lunch menu seems unbeatable! They do have other options such as burgers and salads, but I was craving for some hot dogs. The hot dogs came with a huge portion of fries, which were good, but nowhere near good as the hot dogs; I’m really looking forward trying the other options, since all seem quite good. I haven’t had any beers this timme, but their beer menu looks amazing — they also recommend beers according to the type of food you order. Friendly staff and such nice family atmosphere. A+!

We went to the Doghouse for my sons bday. He wanted wings and finding decent Kosher chicken is difficult. Unfortunately, we were gravely disappointed. First, the restaurant was oppressively hot. Barely any air circulating. Second, we were a party of six(including four men 6′ and over, and two elderly Grandparents) and were originally placed at a small round table with absolutely no room between seats. When we asked the manager if he would please slide over a table for two that was next to us(which was how the table was configured before we sat down). He said no. He argued with my 75 year old Father-in-Law. Only when we said we would leave did he give in. Third, service was awful. We had to ask for menus. We had to ask for water. We had to ask for glasses. We had to ask for silverware. Just terrible. Finally our food came, including three burgers(the specialty). None were cooked correctly. None of the French Fry orders were correct. My sons wings were dry and tasteless. Basically disgusting. When we finished, I had to go to the bar and flag down our waitress for our check as she hadn’t been back to our table once to see how we were doing. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

Came here for lunch with some colleagues. I got the Pac 10 hot dog($ 6.99) and a beer. They have a pretty extensive beer selection. The hot dog was overflowing and difficult to eat by just picking up. But it was delicious and every thing looked fresh on it(yay perfectly ripe avocado). I would definitely return again. Thinking about planning a happy hour here and definitely a great spot to come to watch the game since there are SO many television screens every where. Service was also pretty quick and friendly, which is always a perk.

Don’t understand the hype came with group service was slow Beer was cold and selection vast. I ordered the sausage pepper and onions At first they came out cold had to ask for them to be reheated. They were not as described on the menu. Tasteless and I think they were just sauteed hot dogs. Peppers and onions tasted like they were sitting all day. Plus air conditioning was not adequate. I guess being kosher has you limited in this area.

Just left this place and am thoroughly pleased. We went mid afternoon, after any possible lunch rush(Oh, the life of a first time parent of a 6 month old!) and it was empty. For the record that’s exactly what we were hoping for. The host/waiter/bartender was very welcoming and even cleaned a highchair for us without us asking. Surprising beer selection with some I’ve never even tried! Menu was like a good bar menu but on steroids. Basic sandwich, hot dog, burger menu but with gourmet-ish toppings and additions. We had the chili, which came with tortilla chips, Pico De Gallo, and sour cream — — very pleasing. He had the lunch hour double hot dog option(mind you it was beyond the advertised lunch time but the waiter happily let us know it was still available) — — the dogs were great… Flavorful, just the right amount of snap, and a good size. I had the Sec Dog(knock wurst, pulled brisket, coleslaw) and was very pleased! I would definitely have it again. Best of all… Our baby was played with, complimented, and even given avocado to munch on at mo extra charge. HOWWONDERFUL!(new parents will understand)

Visiting family in the area and had a great time at this place. Brisket sandwich was amazing and they had some of my favorite beers on tap. Great neighborhood pub.

Came here after a night out the previous night so I ordered the nacho fries and a hot dog as hangover food. The fries are amazing!!! I almost licked the bowl. Was pretty quiet as it was Sunday at lunch but our waitress was nice and our drinks though basics were good. My friend had the breakfast burger which she thoroughly enjoyed

All I can say is WOW. My friends and family have been raving about this place and I just got to try today. Before it opened there were a lot of tea-toteler nay-Sayers saying it would be an awful thing to have a kosher sports bar and restaurant in Teaneck. How wrong and Ironic I think it is that this restaurant/bar has turned into the most family friendly eating establishment in town. When you go a little before or at dinner hour it is all families with children of all ages. The menu is fantastic and geared towards them. Burgers, hotdogs fries, chicken fingers, onion rings and wings. All of these things done in whatever way you want and perfect for picky children who are changing their minds and only want a little bit of something. The atmosphere is all American and very happy as you have Jews non-Jews all kinds of people enjoying the restaurant. There is a seasonal game on each of the multi screen TVs in each of the dining rooms but they are not turned up very loudly and not distracting as I thought they would be. I even found myself watching the Seattle Seahawks game more than I expected to. There were a number of different kinds of beers on tap and the ale I had was absolutely wonderful. If the food was not so highly caloric I would eat your many times a week. We shared everything and everything was so delicious it was just a great eating experience. All I can say is HAHA. To all of you naysayers. The doghouse has already outgrown its space and I wish you many years of great business. By 6PM the line to get in and get a table was out the door on a Sunday night. I hear on game nights during the week it is just as crowded after 730 when the games are on.
