My mom just had the worst experience with this very unprofessional periodontist and his staff. She goes to him yesterday on the recommendation of her regular dentist. what a big mistake! ! Once she’s in the chair, the assistant chides her for not having taken x rays before coming to see them. They proceed to do the x rays and afterwards the assistant is still talking about the same thing. Then comes in the doctor and he started out by asking her several questions about her health. .which is fine but eventually he criticizes her for not writing down on her forms that she has a pacemaker and is a diabetic. She was called in to the room quickly and didn’t get to finish her forms and she speaks English but it’s somewhat limited. This office does not have anyone to interpret. He then tells her that she needs to lose weight because she’s fat(yes he used that word) and that’s what is affecting her blood sugar and her heart. Oh so now he’s a medical doctor?? Well, I called the office and calmly asked him to tell me his side of the story and he lied and was extremely rude. I told him to stick to fixing people’s teeth because that’s what my mom was there for, she’s not there to get personal medical advice regardless of his other medical degrees. She already has a PCP. He was like«whatever», so I told him to just send the xrays to my mom when they come in because she won’t be seeing him anymore. This guy needs to learn how to treat customers. And he needs to stop shootin’ the breeze or gossiping with his assistant while examining someone’s mouth, it’s rude. Leave that for after hours. Don’t bother with this doctor! !
