Ebony Beauty Supply

Just left this place and I am appalled. I wish I could give zero stars. I walked in around 7PM because I saw that Ebony’s was the only store around where I live that carried Mielle Organics. Upon entering the store, the woman behind the counter said to me «do you know what you want? Because we are closed and I am not waiting for you to walk around and look.» Shocked, I said «excuse me?» And the woman responded in an even more aggressive tone «DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT?» I responded very calmly and asked for Mielle Organics and she pointed to where it was. At this point I went over to the section where the products were to calm myself down and not get out of character after how she spoke to me. After a few seconds of looking at the products I walked out. A place like this will NEVER get my business. It doesn’t matter if you are closed or not, it is CUSTOMERS who keep you in business and being closed gives you no right to be rude and disrespectful. I would never step foot in here again. I am more than happy that I will be able to go online and pay for the Mielle Organics products that I want even though I’ll have to pay extra for shipping. I’d pay $ 20 extra for shipping just so I’d never have to step foot in Ebony’s again.

I recently moved to the area and this store is very close to my home. I chose a deep conditioner and proceeded to pay with my credit card. I was told that there was a minimum limit (which is illegal) that was beyond the cost of my product. Sometimes I will just go along with this at some establishments for lack of time and convenience. However the lady behind the counter, When I repeated back to her, that there is a limit and posed this as a question. This woman mockingly said «Yes, there’s a x amount limit.» I politely told her that, that is illegal and I would not like to buy the item. She was rude and condescending. This place is very close to my apartment. However, I drive to Hackensack and skip this «Business» to be treated with respect. I also felt similar to another reviewer, that I felt that I was being watched and/​or followed in the store. Mind you, I am a huge product junkie and usually spend way more money than I should on beauty products. However, they permanently lost my business due to the witch I encountered!

Affordable and friendly service. products up to date and for natural and relaxed hair types. They have products for anything on your hair agenda. Wigs weaves braids twists wash and goes anything.

Some of their products are old and they follow black people around the store. I no longer go in this store because I think their racist.
