First of all smells bad. The service was not really great and the server she was not very friendly. The beer was ok but is kind of hard to screw that up. Some of the patrons acted like they already drank too much and acted loud and obnoxious. Horrible experience we won’t be back.

Onion rings are mediocre. There not what I was expecting. The jalapeño popper is a must order. The nachos would be a llot better and I mean allot better with shredded cheese then queso. But def will be coming back. Great atmosphere.

Good bar. Service was pretty decent and food is good. The only problem I have is when a game is not on, the music is cranked so loud that you cant hear the people at your own table.

The food is expensive, and the music was too loud. I left without ordering. In my opinion, The Point After in Murray is good sports bar. Go to Bout Time if you are in your early twenties, you won’t know any better.

I really like this place the food is ok, the drinks are good, the only complaint is male waiters i can’t stand going into a sports bar and having a male waiter, there are plenty of females working there keep the dudes behind the bar or in the kitchen

Good atmosphere and great food! We are from Vegas, so we’re not familiar with all the alcohol restrictions in Utah. We’ve gone to other bars and they make you feel so dumb, like you should know all the Utah laws with alcohol. We’ve never had a bad experience at Bout Time though. Everything we’ve tried from the menu has been delicious! This is our favorite spot for drinks when we’re in town. Taylorsville location rocks!

its kinda crazy when you leave happy sumo in cottonwood because they shut down the kitchen and saki at 9:30 on a Saturday night and tell you you cant spend more money there, so you go to a pub and the fries are better than $ 80 worth of sushi. this place rocks!

Love that there is a little bar so close to my house. Was craving some bar food one night and was able to satisfy that craving with their amazing nachos and a beer! Will definitely be back!

After going to other location and enjoying them. we walked in to the redwood store. This place needs to be close and cleaned. Then have the Health dept called to inspect to get it reopened

I had the name your own burger add garlic and an egg firstly I cannot remember having better plain ol regular fries, cooked to crispy perfection(no limp no steamy) then the burger. Wholly Bat-Cow Batman great burger and all the fixins but just a good bun, still not bad all things considered, a burger this good deserves a ciabatta bun or something close. Brandy was the best pub grub conversationalist … the only reason why it didn’t get 5 stars … cost vs. value for alcohol … it’s the state’s policy to rip off the public. mafioso style, nearly 7 dollars for 1.5 ounces that’s roughly 2.5 times more than every other state I’ve visited — go here, have a burger, talk to Brandy. you’ll not be let down

Service was okay, it took awhile to get someone to our table. BUT, Worst food ever ! I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza. Oh my &^% it came out and I thought it was a joke. The cheese was rubbery and did not cover half the pizza, and the crust was so thin that you could see though it. Very little tops and I think they forgot to put sauce on it. DON’T eat here.

I really wanted to like Bout Time… I really did. When they first opened, it seemed like a cool little spot to watch a game, drink casually and grab food. I have been to multiple locations and some represent better than others. Given the nature of how they quickly opened multiple spots, and closed them rapidly, I am assuming they lost some quality control. The remaining location that I have been to most recently is the Taylorsville location. We arrived and it took quite a while for any server to give us a glance. Once they did, our drinks SLOWLY made it to us. I ordered the Flat Iron Steak and while there wasn’t anything particularly horrible about it, it had a very offbeat flavor. The seasoning seemed to be stale, dry herbs, with a teriyaki like sauce/marinade. I couldnt figure out if they were going for a dry rub or a marinade. The steak was ordered medium rare and came out rare. I am not the guy to turn down near raw meat, but some sections were so raw, I thought twice. The good news – I had a couple cocktails in my, so I ate it anyway. The service, although friendly, was slow and staggered. The restaurant itself was too cold to comfortably sit for a long period of time. All in all, I will likely visit again, but only as the«it’s the only place open this late» option. In future I will edit my review if I have a different experience.

The worst service I have had in my life. Go to any other location. This one sucks. The staff helped friends and family first and I was served two times in 2 hours. Horrible.

All the Bout Times are great for watching sports. If what you want isn’t on the screen, ask and they will find your sport. The menu is consistent with all the others and the cook seems to do a pretty decent job. I feel like the music is way too loud at night though. I’d sort of prefer to be able to listen into what I am watching, especially when they advertise for a PPV Fight or something. The staff seems decent. Some of the waitresses tend to be over attentive so some patrons and inattentive to those who only come in occasionally. It’s a bit too obvious which makes you less apt to tip higher. Overall a good place.

Jan 9,2013 I had the Garlic burger and my wife had the Classic French Dip. Lots of food and quality was excellent. Garlic burger was at least a ½ lb very juicy. Fries were very good. Waitress/Bartender was excellent and would be an excellent candidate to teach other waitress in this state about the proper methods of customer service. Inside was noisy. I would say probably extremely noisy when they are busy. Lots of Tv’s to watch your favorite sporting event.

Fabulous! Bout Time has become our«go-to» place. It’s the only place in the area that has a shaded patio and a full bar. The food is above average pub fare. The drink prices are reasonable. The service is Fantastic! Now that we are«regulars» we get treated with the utmost respect, but we’ve always been treated very well here. The other patrons are always friendly and fun. Good times at Bout Time.

I came here with a group of 8 last Wednesday, and we were glad to see there was a large table in the corner to accomodate all of us, but they sure took their sweet time to acknowledge our existence. We weren’t expecting stellar service… this is a pub afterall, but our group was pretty hard to miss. Guess they weren’t in the mood to make much money that night because they were annoying slow with drink refills. Also, it took almost 40min to get my order of bacon wrapped olives which weren’t even good. By the time I was ready to leave, I practically had to beg for my check.

It’s a pub. Unremarkable, but doing so in an okay way, if that makes any sense. It’s noisy, it’s got a lot of flashing lights and TVs. Don’t expect anything but a pub atmosphere. Service is prompt, but without any frills or exceptional good attitudes. We ordered the Irish Nachos, and while I had the fish and chips, my husband had the steak sandwich. The Nachos were good, fresh out. However, they quickly cooled and congealed into a greasy mess. Tthat was still the way to eat them, though! Otherwise, without any sort of topping, they were reduced to smoked-cardboard flavored bites of crunchy pointlessness. Trust me on this; I got some of these ‘seasoned chips’ with my fish and chips, and they weren’t worth eating without the cheese and ranch mixture that coated the nachos. Good points: The fish and chips were great; crunchy, fluffy, light, not greasy. They were perfect. These earn them up from a 2 star rating to a three all on their own. Delicious, perfect fish. My husband reports that the steak sandwich ‘wasn’t bad’, and that the onions/peppers on it was well done. However, he thought it could stand some steak sauce, of which none was available. The french fries he got with his sandwich were also good, and he enjoyed their version of fry saucer, which is a rarity for my husband. So all and all, an okay casual place to go, but don’t expect miracles in the food department. Expect noise, good times with friends, some TV sports, and beer if that’s what you’re there for– they had an extensive list, but neither I nor my husband drink beer, so it’s lost on us.
