Can’t understand how come its so hard to fix a cheeseburger. Way over cooked and dry. This sonic needs a lot of help, most the time the orders are incorrect. I know that they can do it its not that hard Hutto I can do it Georgetown can do it so come on Taylor start reading your tickets and stop over cooking your patties.

We’ve been here a few times during Happy Hour. And, while I know they are very busy, our drink order has been wrong every single time.

I received excellent service today. My carhops name was Adolpho and he was terrific. My food was very delicious. I don’t know if Sonic values it’s employees or not but if they do they need to keep this one.

The only reason I gave 1 star was because there was no zero star. The chicken strips were evidently cooked earlier in the week. Tough and even worse luke warm, the Texas toast was soggy, the gravy was paste although it came in handy repairing some loose wallpaper. The tater tots were at least warm. I have learned to expect very little in Taylor and Sonic confirmed that again. They should change management– maybe visit a Sonic to see how serve food and give customers a little quality. I will never go back and i wouldn’t serve what they serve to the homeless in the park or the hungry ducks on the lake across from this sonic

No slushies, no ice cream, bad, slow service, and no milk shakes. They came out to the car without the whole order and had no idea they were wrong. You’re a drink stop. C’mon.

I received excellent customer service on my special order at the Taylor Sonic Drive-In. I have a food allergy and asked that my order be prepared a certain way. The person taking my order was more than accommodating. He asked questions and made helpful suggestions. He even made a special trip to my car to confirm it was prepared to my satisfaction. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my order. Thank you for your attention to detail and for your excellent customer service! I really appreciated it especially coming from a fast food restaurant. I will definitely be visiting this Sonic more often. Thanks!

I usually don’t review chains, as I expect very little from them. As someone whose first job was at a Sonic, this one is… weird. Every visit here there is something up. 1st: My first visit here I ordered a cherry lime aid and cheddar peppers with ranch at the drive thru. I waited a bit, and a male carhop comes out and informs me they are out of cheddar peppers. Okay, so I order cheese sticks with marinara. I wait a bit more, and he tells me they are out of marinara, but offers me BBQ sauce or honey mustard. Not wanting to dip my cheese sticks in either, I opt for the popcorn chicken and cherry limeaid. 2nd: This time they had everything I wanted, but the carhop was VERY over zealous. He kept pointing to his name tag and saying, «If you ever need ANYTHING, ask for me.» and kept repeating it, which I thought was odd for a carhop to be doing. I could see if he was a manager. 3rd: Third visit went smoothely, but when I tipped the carhop he said, «Thank you, ma’am. You have no idea what this means to me. This goes a long way when you only make $ 2 and hour.» I was flabbergasted that he would have the nerve to lie and say that he only made $ 2/hr. I didn’t tell him that I used to carhop and I know they make at least minimum wage, but I made a mental note not to tip that liar again. 4th: Today was(almost) perfect. I simply ordered a medium cheese tot and a large cherry lime aid. When I drove off I attempted to put my straw into the cup, but it wouldn’t go in, because they had filled the cup with ice, from top to bottom. So much so that I was practically stabbing my straw into a chunk of ice midway down, trying to get past it. I ended up sucking ice up through my straw, and got no drink until I got the straw to the very bottom. The ice was a very light shade of pink, so you know there was SOME liquid in there somewhere, but very little. I had always had people tell me «ask for no ice» or «ask for little ice because that’s how they rip you off and only give you a tiny bit of soda and a TON of ice» but I’ve been going to Sonic all my life(Dad was a manager at one in my hometown when I was younger) and had never had that problem, until today. They gave me a flyer with my order, saying they were hiring all positions. I hope they fill them with good workers who do not lie or try to rip their customers off. UPDATE: I was at the bottom of my drink a few sips in, and I LOVELOVELOVE cherry lime aids. Not wanting to spend another $ 2 – 3 I had spent to begin with, a friend and I returned to the store, with the cup still full of ice, and explained the issue to a carhop, opening the lid for him. He immediately began shaking his head, looking very much not surprised, and said he’d take care of it right away. This lead me to believe this is a usual occurrence, at least as of recent. He brought me a new cup with more drink, and the normal serving of ice. I’m happy they at least did the right thing.

I like this chain, but something is very wrong here, or at least was on the Saturday when I visited. I started by trying to go through the drive-thru but after several minutes of waiting it appeared no one was answering there. So I pulled in to a drive-in spot and pushed the button. It was a while before that was answered, but I spent the time polling my kids for their orders, and when the order time came I was ready. I made my long order fairly directly, and then when I was finished the server said«hold on a minute, what was that?» Somehow the entire order had been missed, and I had to repeat it, the second time more slowly. When finally the order was made, it was time to wait. I paid with my card at the drive-in card reader, checked in on Unilocal, tuned in a football game on the radio, and waited. And waited. And… waited. It was 19 minutes after my Unilocal check-in, and around 30 minutes after I had first arrived at Sonic, that the woman in the drive-in spot next to us, who had been there before we pulled in, left because she had been waiting too long. This was not encouraging, but I thought it had been so long already, it can’t be much longer… right? Fortunately, I was mostly right, and after another 10 minutes or so we finally got our food. The carhop was very sweet and apologetic, offering us a big handful of peppermints for our trouble. And the order was correct, and the food was fresh and tasty, so I can’t fault them too badly in that area(though they did forget the straws for our drinks.) Having the order right at last and being sorry for taking so long saved them from a one-star review in my book… maybe this was a one-time fluke, but I would take care here in the future if you are trying to pick something up in a hurry.
