From what I’ve heard the place is under new management. And it shows. I haven’t been in that place for, well, let’s just say a REEEALLYYY long time. Anyway, my wife and I stepped into the door and we were instantly greeted by a smiling bartender. We took a booth and checked out the menu. It was a Friday during Lent, so they had fish dinners as specials. I ordered the perch dinner. It was really damn good. Good portion size as well. My wife had the steak bites. I think she said«these things are delicious!!» But she wouldn’t stop chewing so it came out like«thesethimsharedishlishus.» We’ve been married almost 14 years, so I’ve learned to translate for her pretty efficiently. I’ve seen a lot a negative reviews, but they seem kinda out of date. If you’re one of the people that left a bad review, you might wanna give ‘em another try. If you’re looking to have some good chow, and a couple cold ones, check Alibi’s out.

You don’t need an Alibi to go to Alibis… just don’t go! We went last night and it was pretty lame. The way the bar is set up is like«Cheers» kind of in a square and everyone just stares at you. It crowd was mostly older men who were most likely U.A.W. workers. I was joking w/my friend that this was the kind of place where drunks go and just set a $ 20 bill on the counter and everytime the waitress asks if they would like another they just point at the money and give her«the nod»…Alibis is not my kind of place, and I’m glad no one knows my name!
