My friend and I went to skate and were told we weren’t allowed to wear any protective gear because it may«frighten other patrons». Or damage the newly finished floor. Subsequently, she fell, and suffered a pretty bad concussion. Also the music is terrible. I am a big fan of 80’s music, however, the DJ scrapes the bottom of the barrel and plays the«80’s worst hits». The owner walks around calling people out for any small infarction. Even if it is something as small as pausing for a moment to lean over the wall to talk to a friend or sip your water. I understand that he put a lot of money into renovating the place, however, his style of micromanagement only serves to alienate those who may otherwise have become regular patrons. I guess we’ll take our business to the smaller yet friendlier rink in fair haven.

What a great place to skate. You can use both inline or roller skates there. Plenty of skates to rent if needed. Excellent floor to skate on, kick ass music to get you moving the whole time. Most of time you share the rink with just a handful of people. Pro shop is well stocked with latest skates and protected gears. They also sell used skates. Excellent place to spend an evening.
