This place is horrible, I paid $ 25 for the worse full set ever. At first I thought my nails would look great since she took a little over an hour to finish up my nails. I got French tip which were all crooked and you could see the bubbles from the acrylic on every single one of my nails. They were all shaped differently and to top it off I paid with my debit card and she litteraly (I’m not exaggerating) asked for my pin. And she still had the nerve to ask for a tip. The only thing was that there was no lifting after having them for a month. Which was horrible because I couldn’t wait to have them removed. I actually painted them the moment I got home. horrible experience will not be coming back here.

I was in desperate need of a manicure when I saw the sign. I asked if they took walk-​ins, and unfortunately for me, they did. When I sat down I realized that the place looked pretty unclean. I should have walked out but like the review below me I was desperate. The tools did not come in the blue disinfected bag so I can asked for a polish change instead. Her filer was like cut in half so I used my own. The nail polish I chose was also old. She was a very sweet lady; however, she should run a cleaner business. Moreover, there was a women there who knew Hein by name and seemed to be a regular. She began yelling at Hein for a $ 1 credit card transaction fee, showing the etiquette of her regular cliental.

First time at Nails by Hein. Was looking for something in this area and they were the only place that could take me. That should have been a sign. I walk in and the place is dirty. Dust everywhere and it doesn’t look like anyone has cleaned the place in years. I feel bad because I know they are trying to make a living but someone needs to take a few bottles of bleach to the place and clean everything. I asked if all the utensils are clean and she stated that yes and that it’s very important for clean utensils. Duh! I really hope I don’t get an infection from here. I should have walked out but needed a mani pedi so bad. Mani job is pretty mediocre with acetone marks all over my fingers to get the paint off. And her fingers were so dry and cracking it was grossing me out. I keep saying to myself I should walk out. I guess you pay for what you get.

This nail salon is a hidden-​gem in Tarzana! Not fancy, affordable and most importantly they offer a great quality service!
I’ve been getting mani/​pedi for years but their mani/​pedi services are unbeatable! They do speak English and are very nice people. I’m so glad I have found them!!!

Hein and Jenny are the greatest. They take their time with each manicure and pedicure making sure my nails are the best they can be. They are both very friendly and it is a very friendly shop with customers chatting back and forth. I just really appreciate the care and time they take to make sure the manicure/​pedicures are done well. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years and have tried other places due to use of Groupons, but never found anywhere that is better than Nails by Hein.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Nail by Hien for five years. I always get great caring service. Everyone who works here is friendly, I also like the fact that they always speak in English which I think shows respect.
They use good products. And really take the time to provide good service.
