I went to Jamie to have a Keratin treatment done to my hair. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. She destroyed my hair. She charged me $ 200 to have the treatment done. It should have been soft, silky, no frizz and should have lasted 4 to 6 months. In 3 days my hair had looked like I had just been electrocuted, it was more frizzy then when I first walked in. I requested a full refund. At first she over the phone she said she would only refund me 80% I told her I was going somewhere else to have it fixed which was going to cost me $ 350. Then she told me I was just trying to get a free treatment. Unbelievable. I went into her shop to get the refund of the 80%, I figured something was better than nothing. Once I got there she tried to tell me that I should have had a Brazilian Blowout and how it was better. I told her that is not what I had paid for, I had paid for the Keratin treatment and that is what I wanted. I had asked her several times prior to and during this treatment, how many Keratins has she done. She avoided the question and said she has done Brazilian Blow outs many times. Again with the Brazilian Blowouts. She ended up only giving me half of the amount I paid. She doesn’t know her products, she was reading how to do my hair step by step as she went along. I asked her again during the treatment, are you sure you know what you are doing because I see you reading the directions, she replied, «oh, yes, this is just a new brand. New brand or not the treatment is still the same. I did in fact go to my normal stylist who was afraid she was not going to be able to fix the damages. I had to have 5 inches cut off my hair which still wasn’t enough to remove all the damages. I was and still am beside myself. I take very much pride in how healthy and long my hair is. now it is cut just below my shoulders and still has some damages left that still will need to be cut off. I would never recommend Jamie to anyone unless they plan on having their hair ruined beyond repair.

I have been going to Jamie the past 2 plus years (moved from back east). She is the only person I trust doing my hair. I used to have black hair and then had the black removed only to suffer severe hair damage while I was back east. When I met Jamie, she educated me on products and literally brought my hair back to life. Jamie blended my hair so natural and healthy. When people look at the old pictures and new pictures, they can’t believe what a difference! My hair is so healthy, soft, shiny, long, just beautiful and Jamie did it!!! I :) have received so many compliments on my hair, colleagues and friends see me when I fly back east and can’t believe its me (I look completely different). If anyone is seeking a AMAZING hair stylist that won’t charge you crazy prices, you should go to Jamie. She ROCKS!!!

I have been going to Jamie Rovner in Woodland Hills to get my haircut for over 10 years. She is the very best, and so easy going. I could not make an easier recommendation than to go to her… fair prices, great personality, and definitely good at hiding my bald spots ;) Jaime is located on Ventura Blvd. very close to Taft High School on the south side of the street. You will not be dissapointed if you call Jaime for a haircut.

I have been getting my hair done by Jamie for 10+ years. She actually listens to what you want and is capable of creating great work. She has a wide range of capabilities such as highlights, lowlights, extensions, tinsel… you name it! She knows whats best for you =]

Jamie does a great job. She is able to match what you describe you want but can also create a look that you didn’t know you would like. I’ve been very pleased with my haircuts and color. Only reason she doesn’t get five stars is her location. It’s a bit of a drive for me to get there. I wish she was closer!

Been getting my haircut from Jamie for years now and I love it every time!!! Jamie does great work and is awesome!
